Bant Uro, UW Control, or Stoneblade/Sharkblade .
By - RubyBoyYT
Ummmm, did you mean to post this in the modern sub? Cause Uro is banned in modern.
Bant Uro-less Uro.
Well uro's banned so not that one.
I've personally never been impressed with Stoneblade strategies in modern. They were great in standard cause the removal was lackluster and they're good in legacy cause they have an actual mana denial plan which makes it harder to interact with. Especially nowadays, there's better things you can do for 2 mana in modern. It's pretty telling that the only deck that gets real use of stoneforge in modern rn uses her as a glorified "2 mana add hammer" tutor. Personally I would recommend UW with a light red splash and chalice. It's pretty well position right now (provided you don't go into time every round).
That said, if you like stoneforge, play stoneforge. Modern is a format where you can still win with a deck as long as you enjoy it and put in the hours. Heck, I've seen 2 different flavors of 5C silvers do well locally.
I would suggest UW Control or stoneblade. [Uro Bant is going to be difficult to build at the moment.](https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/news/february-15-2021-banned-and-restricted-announcement)
We can certainly narrow this down to 2 choices since Uro is banned
I’ve been shoehorning the stone blade package into every deck I can. Currently running a jeskai land denial deck with rishadan dockhand and cleansing wildfire 🤷♂️
I built a Bant midrange deck, it doesn’t have Uro but it’s still hype - https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/4306656#paper
Here is a list I'm playing currently. I do need to go up on solitude for sure, but it felt really strong when I played in the shop on Friday.
