Bugs with moderation tools on the official Reddit app on Android
By - Chtorrr
The [copy feature](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/812770754025488386/900782675705614356/unknown.jpeg) on modmail doesn't copy anything.
When did you first notice this happening?
Since when the whole new modmail interface next to messages was introduced.
about how long ago would you say that was?
[Around 4 months ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/modnews/comments/o0mkrl/improvements_to_mobile_modmail_legacy_modmail/)
The copy works for me, but it brings me to the modmail in the legacy modmail interface.
Did you copy that from the Android app or the website?
Thank you for the update
Please leave comments here with any specifics about bugs you are still seeing. We are aware of the issue with user cards that is preventing you from banning people and granting user flairs.
[here you go](https://i.redd.it/xxwz2v54cuu71.jpg) - it's about an inch and a half long and makes a distinctive "**S-S-S-SNOOO**" call
That thing has ramen noodle eyes.
I am facing this user card issue since yesterday, please fix, kthxbye
When are you just going to admit this is a feature and not a bug?
There has been an issue I've seen for a long time. Posts I have removed or marked as spam still displaying like normal making me unsure if they've been removed or not.
When checking modmail in the app, I have to log in again.
Hey I still can't ban people directly from posts since the update. It's a lot of clicking to ban spammers now. It's been a bit of a pain from mobile Android
Same problem here.
I'm having a problem that ehen I hit the name of a user on a post, instead of the dropdown box that lets me ban them it brings me straight to their profile. Just noticed it today
maybe use some *bug* spray
Damn that’s an advanced Lenny if I’ve ever seen one ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Also use dark mode because light attract bugs.
He stole my joke, dont acknowledge him. 😤
You really think I read your discord messages?
~~thank you for the joke~~
New r/modsupport rule: No stealing of jokes.
Stealing jokes is the reddit way, I thought you were a mod, shouldve known SMH
The only thing the update "did" was change the modmail back to light mode instead of it being dark mode
This sucks, I'm sorry. Can you confirm the version of the android app you are using?
I am unable to reproduce this behavior. Modmail darkmode on android should follow whatever setting the rest of the android app has. Is that not the case for you?
Nevermind I read it wrong. Sorry about that. But here's the version if still needed.
No problem. Just to confirm, modmail dark mode is still working for you?
Yea it's dark. At times dark mode turns off.
Same here, maybe 4-5 days ago I started having the modmail in darkmode (not all the time though) whilst it used to be a white insert of legacy a few weeks ago (I'm usually not the one in charge of it).
Is anyone else see a bug with posting through the Reddit mobile app on all communities saying that all types of posts aren’t allowed? It is limiting posting availability and our mods are seeing it across the board.

Still no user card, have a nice week guys 😉
I am very aware this is still broken - that's why this post is still stickied in here.
[When I try to go through mod queue, I get this screen saying bad request](https://imgur.com/a/DwtVPv2)
We recently introduced some backend changes to the modqueue that means that a very small number of users (those moderating more than 500 subreddits in a single account) won't be able to use the aggregate mod queue via r/mod/about/modqueue. Restrictions like this are a bummer, I know, but they end up making it much more achievable to build out something scalable by setting up some limits so that we can minimize the amount of work the servers have to do for a single request.
There are a couple of options here:
1. You can switch to using specific bookmarks for aggregate mod queues that put your subreddits together multi style, like /r/sub1+sub2/about/modqueue
2. You can leave some subreddits so that you get your count down to under 500
3. If neither of those works, it's less of a guarantee, but I think you can also remove the posts permissions from this user for enough subreddits such that you're under 500 also.
All that said, this error message should definitely be clearer about what's happening here, apologies for that.
I hope that helps and one of those solutions works for you.
