maybe that's why I like it the least out of all of their releases? It didn't have the same foreboding atmosphere as their other albums IMO. Just kinda...fast really.
I just ran into them for the first time the other day, an old live video for 13 Globes. That clock-head thing the singer had going on, combined with that creepy breathy voice... very unsettling. \\m/ \\m/ The band is wicked tight, gotta be when you're playing that fast.
Hah!
My first exposure was their [Glumurphonel video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emrBZZtGFgI)!
Looking at that one and the 13 Globes vids, I think they were taken from the same set!
check out Gorguts - Colored Sands if you like this. It’s like a more tangible, tempered version of this while retaining the atmosphere and technicality
I find this album to be the most easily digested of their works. This track and "Esp Ion Age" are almost groovy.
For me that album is Vexovoid since that’s the album that helped me understand their music and want more.

One of my favorite bands- so so good and weird.

Usually not a tech death fan but these guys really kill it.
They sound like what I imagine the universe being ripped apart would sound like
First album I heard was Swarth and I was like “yup they’re definitely opening a tear in time and space.”

I despised Gorguts because of the technicalities. But it has been years since I heard them so I'll give it a go
Same here. That album certainly isn't your typical tech death tho and could take multiple listens to get. It’s one of my fav albums now.
Is this really considered tech death?
How they permeate such a suffocating and nightmarish atmosphere 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Portal is my favorite band on the planet and this album is my favorite metal release of the last ten or so years.
