There's a lot of humans out there who are feeling less than low. If this is also you, I hope you get outside and take a little time for yourself! Give yourself a little love.
When others see how great we are, it's your clue that you're on the right track.
And honestly, men especially are so starved for general affection that when someone expresses genuine love (not even romantic love, just neighborly or brotherly love) it can be super overwhelming.
This is so true my friend. If your description describes you, kindly know we're in this together! If it's not you, thanks for seeing the folks who suffer. Men endure a lot of emotional trauma without ever disclosing it.
Fortunately my wife is very loving and supportive and often tells me how much she appreciates me. Those sorts of expressions are absolutely critical for everyone to hear.
Everyone needs to hear that at some point in their life, and not just superficially. So many horrible people could have turned out so differently by hearing exactly that kind of empathy and caring at the right point in their lives. Obviously it doesn't fix all issues, but it can certainly be a point that makes an impactful difference.
I bought a whole bunch of shungite! Rocks. Do you know what shungite is? Anybody know what shungite is? No, not Suge Knight. I think heās locked up in prison. Talking shungite! Anyways, itās a 2 billion year old.. like rock, stone that protects against frequencies and unwanted frequencies that may be traveling in the air. That's my story, I bought a whole bunch of stuff, put them around the la casa, little pyramids, stuff like that.
That's kinda how he does it. If he *does* become overwhelmed with emotion that goes beyond his character (like almost reeeeally laughing, or genuinely becoming sad) he plays it off by going off screen as a "bit" or just yelling like a mad man to override the emotion.
i think:
that shift of his smirk from :35 to :37 is him accidently dropping his persona and realizing he dropped character, and everything from :37 after is embellishment *because* it made him drop character
edit: changed times because video player threw me off by a second
I think this was also around the time of his affair and scandal so he probably was dealing with a lot internally (not condoning his behaviour) and hearing that just hit him.
To be clear I love the Doc,he's gotten me through tough times aswell. Quality streamer,no one does it better
I mean dude has been through a lot in recent years some his fault of course but I'm sure a lot of hate comes his way daily because of it so hearing some genuine love prob hit him hard
Doc Disrespect. Had a big deal through Twitch as a streamer (lots of money). Shortly after *re-signing a deal with Twitch (indicating heād be with them a long time), Twitch suddenly banned him from their platform. No one knows the reason, itās kind of a mystery. Twitch wonāt say, Doc wonāt say.
~~He signed with YouTube Gaming and now streams there~~. He streams on YouTube now.
There was some other problem at the time, I think he got caught cheating on his wife, admitted it, got a lot of hate, went on a downward spiral.
Suddenly he got banned and insisted he didn't know why, followed by angry tweets and lawsuits, lots of streamers speculating. Twitch doesn't share ban details, other streamers can't show or play with banned streamers (some got banned for showing Doc), lots of unnecessary drama.
He wasnt banned for it, but he was caught on video at TwitchCon or whatever it is being a little to friendly to a female not his wife, that most married people are supposed to avoid, and then was a douche about it to the person who caught it on film.
Then it kinda all rolled downhill after that.
Main theory is that he was lying to Twitch during contract negotiations by claiming that Mixer was looking to poach him to get a sweeter deal but got exposed when Mixer shut down.
Except for he reupped his twitch contract at the sametime shroud and ninja went to mixer, they didn't know. Like, the same month this was all going down. That isn't true
āStreamerā??? Thatās the two time back to back blockbuster 1993-1994 video game champion, with a deadly Ethiopian caterpillar, standing at 6ā8ā with a 37ā vertical leap. Show some respect
Now take this with a grain of salt, but I went looking into why he was banned a few months ago so what I found is a little fuzzy but I read he was getting bigger streamers together to "unionize" and get more control of their twitch channel and better cuts of revenue, so Twitch banned him to get that under control. That could just be hearsay, but its the only thing I could really find at the time.
Pretty sure it's because he lied about an offer from Mixer to get a better deal from Twitch. Twitch probably tried to match a non-existent offer and overpaid millions so banned Doc in retaliation.
Twitch might have been able to sue Doc or was actively suing for lying about the offer, hence why no one could leak why he was banned.
The unionize thing could still be done despite the Twitch ban lol. There are plenty of streamers on YouTube and no union has popped up yet, so it ain't the union thing.
Twitch can still feel upset and ban Doc.
Twitch can ban a streamer at will, and even if Doc isn't legally liable for lying, it can still damage his relationship with Twitch and result in Twitch wanting him off their platform.
That's fair. It doesn't make any sense for that to be the reason though.
That's a great reason not to renegotiate a new contract with someone, but they didn't do that. Banning him from the platform doesn't remove their contractual obligation to pay him out the contract they signed. He would have had to have violated TOS or a clause in the contract itself for them to get out of paying.
So by banning him like that, they still have to pay him, and didn't get the profit from their share of subs to his channel in return. That's a lot of money to throw away cause your salty he beat you in negotiations.
I've never followed Disrespect or seen any videos past clips like this. I just was wondering if the truth ever came out since it was big news when it happened. I didn't hear anything about him filming people in bathrooms, why the hell would he be doing that?
As far as I remember it was moreso just a vlog of him, but the camera crew and stuff followed him into a public bathroom and showed all the random people and their faces
Well, that definitely is less vile than the impression I got from reading the previous post saying he was filming people in bathrooms. Thanks for clarifying!
He wasn't fliming people in bathrooms he was just filming himself in a bathroom and other people were around. He admitted he wasn't thinking it through and it was mostly a non issue. Thats not he reason he was banned.
https://kotaku.com/dr-disrespect-apologizes-for-e3-bathroom-stream-on-beha-1836021931
The e3 ban was temporary for 2 weeks and happened in 2019. The actual disappearing of his channel and the ban that nobody publicly has said why happened in 2020, a year later.
One of life's biggest mystery. I still cant believe the twitch ban had so much impact on his career, like hes doing okay, but he was like everywhere. And I think even EA has put him on a blacklist because of the twitch ban. It really makes you think, what the heck happened? I hope, maybe one day, before I pass from this wretched world. The truth about it will come out.
I think ultimately thatās why he sued.
The implication of the ban soured him to potential earnings from sponsors.
He still was able to land Mountain Dew and others, but it for sure slowed down his forward momentum.
Iāve always thought about what Shroud said. To paraphrase, āDoc 100% knows exactly why he got banned, but heās not telling anyone. That scares me.ā
I donāt think so yet, but heās talking about the situation a bit more now then before when he would barely mention it, so I assume it is progressing and we might hear something at some point.
I think he just claimed he wasn't him to get a more realistic answer from the guy he was playing with. If he admitted he was the doc and the guy said I love you it wouldn't have been as genuine
Even before the infidelity, some people really hated his character. And I get it, the dude is over the top, satirical machismo and thst can be grating. I personally have always enjoyed Doc, but he isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Frankly, I think the infidelity thing other people bring up is BS, just admit you donāt like him.
Doc has never preached morals to people or brought his personal life into his stream (as far as I know, he plays a character), so viewers should stay out of his personal life. Marriage is hard enough without thousands of busy bodies sticking their nose where it doesnāt belong
A lot of viewers establish para-social relationships with their favorite streamers.
So of course people will like/dislike the streamer due to personal life.
Tbh all the successful streamers are as big as they are because people like them as a person.(Their content is also important ofcourse, but not even the main point for viewers)
I've never seen him be mean to someone unless they were a dick first. His character seems like a wholesome but overly enthusiastic version of himself. Might be a stretch but it's similar to what furries do, when they're in costume they feel free to release their inner goofball and everyone has a great time.
Yeah but Reddit has Chosen a couple of groups to have murderous vendettas against, cheaters are one of those.
Human emotion is more complicated than that.
I don't follow him, but I recall that he took at least a month off from streaming, and his return was hailed as one of the crowning achievements of his career. It sort of cemented the meme that the best thing a streamer can do is create a huge controversy that drives them into hiding and then make a grand return to tens of thousands of resubs and donations.
The only thing I know home for is https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.polygon.com/platform/amp/2019/6/12/18662901/dr-disrespect-banned-e3-twitch-bathroom-stream but I also donāt idolize or follow streamers.
Iām also confused. But maybe since the guy was saying that without knowing he was actually talking to him probably meant a lot. Especially after he didnāt bad mouth him after doc said āhe can get on my nerves sometimesā
Itās not a alter Doc, but Doc just wants the guy to dog on him. Doc is trying to bait him into saying something like āyea he gets a little annoyingā. Just friendly banter that Iām sure weāve all done. The guy just doesnāt fall for it and genuinely likes the Doc.
Iām very familiar with him I watch him rage like everyday lol. Heās usually full of himself Iām confused by the way he reacted when I feel like heād be like āyeah heās the bestā and not get emotional when a fan said he loves him
He used to be very emotional back in the day. I guess because of some of the controversies maybe made him insecure. Heās very shy outside the character.
Yeah this clip was from his meteoric rise to the top of Twitch when he was pretty much solely streaming PUBG everyday. People started seeing how much effort he put into his production and he was super internet famous in a matter of a few months. I miss watching him everyday but I kinda grew out of it after he came back
Heās acting. Doctor Disrespect is a fucking legend. Thereās also a clip with a guy talking shit after being killed by the Doc, untill he realised it was actually Doc that killed him and proceeded to apologise profusely.
Truly. We live lives of quiet desperation, holding onto compliments that we got as children or teens. I work in a female dominated industry and the level of compliments that I witness women give each other on a daily basis is remarkable. They are CONSTANTLY putting each other up and noticing/acknowledging each other.
The only way we notice one another is usually through playful ribbing which can be very confusing and breeds conformity. I wish men would compliment each other more instead of holding pissing contests at every opportunity. Things are certainly changing but it's no question that many men are having midlife crises in their 30s
Itās itās Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascall, Narcos etc.) Fuck a Star Wars reference since they played a large part in the directorial downfall of the final 2 seasons!
Theyāve been milking that damn franchise for decades
My family isnt super close. Especially aunts and uncles. Like we love eachother and its never in doubt but we are very blue collar.
I was struggling through depression. Lost a job due to the economy, wife left instead of helping, worked my way back to a decent paying job then got injured, company decided it was cheaper to fire me and settle a lawsuit then fix my injury. I took the money and used it to go to trade school. Started a successful career. Got married. Had a son. Got a house.
Randomly i posted a job i did for NASA. I see a comment from my uncle. "Im really proud of you".
I thought i was gunna die from that.
I was his sever at a restaurant the other day. He was very nice and extremely outgoing, until he got notices by a child and then he put on a hood and glasses, this was a movie theatre lol.
Dang man if this is legit then that's heartbreaking. Poor guy probably aint heard that or felt that in a long time and that fan might have no idea how such a small part by himself had a huge impact on the guy.
Goes to show you the drop of water in a pond saying aint that far off sometimes.
Or just crazy good PR on the doc's part idk :)
damn now I feel bad for hating on him. too often streamers, youtubers and celebrities get detached from their communities and become indifferent to the love their fans give and its nice to see thats not the case with him.
There's a lot of humans out there who are feeling less than low. If this is also you, I hope you get outside and take a little time for yourself! Give yourself a little love. When others see how great we are, it's your clue that you're on the right track.

We all could use this guy going outside more
Needed to hear this
He needed to hear that š„ŗā„ļø
Definitely right, he needed that. He can have a good main reason to pursue streaming, I love streamers!
Everyone needs to hear that at some point in their life, and not just superficially. That end cry is obv satire. It's his persona
I think that's half true. I genuinely believe he was truly too happy for his persona.

He really turns into a fucking Drill Sergeant on his own emotions sometimes.
Yeah, and then he did the over acting thing, because that's his character.
i think: that shift of his smirk from :35 to :37 is him accidently dropping his persona and realizing he dropped character, and everything from :37 after is embellishment *because* it made him drop character edit: changed times because video player threw me off by a second
It definitly looked like it was out of character for him to walk away sobbing lol.
Lol nah. This is him being him.
I think this was also around the time of his affair and scandal so he probably was dealing with a lot internally (not condoning his behaviour) and hearing that just hit him. To be clear I love the Doc,he's gotten me through tough times aswell. Quality streamer,no one does it better

This is a really old clip, definitely before all the drama and the twitch ban. Support just feels good.
I have no idea who this is, what did he do?
Doc Disrespect. Had a big deal through Twitch as a streamer (lots of money). Shortly after *re-signing a deal with Twitch (indicating heād be with them a long time), Twitch suddenly banned him from their platform. No one knows the reason, itās kind of a mystery. Twitch wonāt say, Doc wonāt say. ~~He signed with YouTube Gaming and now streams there~~. He streams on YouTube now.
Thanks, this seems to be the most unbiased and detailed answer so far.
Is cheating on your wife a violation of any of twitch's policies? Doesn't seem like that would get him banned as much as make him lose fans.
He didn't get banned for cheating on his wife. The cheating happened long, long before the ban did.
He wasnt banned for it, but he was caught on video at TwitchCon or whatever it is being a little to friendly to a female not his wife, that most married people are supposed to avoid, and then was a douche about it to the person who caught it on film. Then it kinda all rolled downhill after that.
Hi friend, resigning and re-signing have two very different meanings.
Someone needs to take a look into this. It's going to cause confusion.
It's time to create a new language I think.
L'acadmie francaise has enter the chat
Being a big sports guy, this annoys me all season when talking on the internet. People always talk about wanting to resign a player. Haha
Or when you read a headline "beloved hometown superstar resigns" when really he re-signed with the team.
Very true. Just typing quick on the phone. Iāll go edit.
YT didnāt sign him though. He just streams there.
That isn't true
>resigned *re-signed* Resigned means he quit. Re-Signed means he signed another deal.
Objection hearsay
he plays vidya gaems
The cry was real, the only he reason he got up was to preserve his persona
Fuckin love the doc
Great, now he's crying again.
his house was being shot at and everyone hated him, him hearing someone that loved him through everything made him break down. heās human too
Shot at??? What???
Someone fired a gun into his house once while he was streaming. You can find the video on youtube
Twice now
Back to back?
A BB gun right? I donāt think it was a real fire arm.
Yup, might be on YouTube yep https://youtu.be/5b7dxaqDTxw
It's at the very end. Long video of gameplay helps the set-up of tension I guess but ya

Despite hiding a lot of his face, the first time the guy says "I love him" you can see some very real emotion wash across his face.
I really don't understand why half theses comments are explaining how human facial expressions work to other humans.
because we're all autistic
I have a sister that has autism, and can confirm, we are all like her.
I doubt i'm as cool as your sister

Is this a newer clip?
From what I can see it's from 2017, I saw it for the first time today
Wow, Iām surprised I have never seen it. I love doc he deserves better than what twitch did to him.
I'm a big fan as well. Did it ever come out why he was banned?
Now take this with a grain of salt, but I went looking into why he was banned a few months ago so what I found is a little fuzzy but I read he was getting bigger streamers together to "unionize" and get more control of their twitch channel and better cuts of revenue, so Twitch banned him to get that under control. That could just be hearsay, but its the only thing I could really find at the time.
Amazon? Union busting? They would never!
Pretty sure it's because he lied about an offer from Mixer to get a better deal from Twitch. Twitch probably tried to match a non-existent offer and overpaid millions so banned Doc in retaliation. Except he sued twitch and twitch didn't sue him so this is entirely false. Good job spreading misinformation though <3
Iād say it has more to do with filming people in bathrooms at e3. Dude was banned then and never really came back to twitch.
I've never followed Disrespect or seen any videos past clips like this. I just was wondering if the truth ever came out since it was big news when it happened. I didn't hear anything about him filming people in bathrooms, why the hell would he be doing that?

I don't really follow streamers and stuff, but do people not like Dr. Disrespect?
Even before the infidelity, some people really hated his character. And I get it, the dude is over the top, satirical machismo and thst can be grating. I personally have always enjoyed Doc, but he isn't everyone's cup of tea.
I never understood the appeal, I cannot watch him for more than a couple minutes at a time. But to each their own.
Exactly. If you donāt like him just change the channel. I donāt understand peoples need to shit on him
Frankly, I think the infidelity thing other people bring up is BS, just admit you donāt like him. Well, he did say that he loved him. Probably hasn't heard those words in a while.
iirc this clip was before that

Totally, there are so many good reasons why cheating is actually good, such as
Banging a hot chick that's not your wife, duh /s
Fuck your profile pic lol
I'm not totally in the know but from what I understand he cheated on his wife and got a wave of backlash for it a while ago.

Itās itās Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascall, Narcos etc.) Fuck a Star Wars reference since they played a large part in the directorial downfall of the final 2 seasons! Theyāve been milking that damn franchise for decades
Aka THE VIPER
The vsm in the scene is on a whole other level
So what happened next?
They kissed

Doc is a real one , love watching him
And now I'm crying
That's pretty wholesome, the guy makes good content
That's one of the most beautiful moments I have ever seen on the internet.
You need more Internet in your Life lol
HARDcORE!!! MUTHA FUCKER!!!!!
So many people need to hear those words. Feeling loved is important.
That was raw Bro ... raw.
Doc is a legend. I donāt watch game streamers but this guy. He deserves all the love he gets. He is a solid entertainer
THE TWO TIME
I love the 2x, too. He's awesome.
I was his sever at a restaurant the other day. He was very nice and extremely outgoing, until he got notices by a child and then he put on a hood and glasses, this was a movie theatre lol.
What's not to love. The Doc is pure entertainment.
The Two Time! ALEX!!!!
Them onions bro!
I love the Doc
Fuckin love the doc
didn't this dude cheat on his wife or somethin
The two time champion, back to back YAYAYAYAYA
He did
Whenever I see his name I just think āDr. Disrespect My Wifeā and it makes me laugh.
and he streamed once and confessed it without his wig and glasses dude was unrecognisable for a sec
And he thought love streaming inside a public bathroom was a good idea too.
He is not just "a streamer" he is "the streamer". A.k.a two time
Dr.Disrespect
