Words can’t describe the feeling
By - KevlarYarmulke
This is exactly what I looked like when my Xbox X arrived last week.
Xbox One X Series X?
No. The Xbox One SSX Tricky Series S Class, Jr.
Doesn't matter as long as he/she loves it
It was a joke about the dumb names.
Man, I'm dumb
Dumb dumb dumb
I would be the same if I had the cash. How is it anyway?
I got lucky and had some stashed away.
It’s definitely much faster and an upgrade in graphics.
Still hard to justify the price tag.
I had both xbox one and ps4. Dont know which path to take this time.
Reminds me of the joy I felt getting the power pad. And that’s also the exact opposite of how I felt getting the power glove
Christmas 1986 was the **BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!**
Just shy of my 10th Birthday, I had snooped and found the NES consolse before it was wrapped, so I didn't get the surprise factor, but it didn't matter. No other gift, before or since, has inspired such pure, unadulterated childhood joy.
I haven't stopped playing games since.
You and I received an NES on the exact same Christmas. One of my first memories was playing Castlevania in my fourth birthday in January of 1987. Great times. I’ve also never stopped gaming
Look at his clothes. The kid willed it to happen. He probably wore those clothes and talked about it 24/7. Parents finally caved. Then the kid started wearing Super Nintendo pajamas and the vicious cycle began.
Guessing the parents got the clothes at the same time, and made him change into them before he could open the big box even though he KNEW what was in there lol
Ahh.. I still remember the day back in ‘86
I got mine in 92 when I was 6. Gaming ever since.
Funny how that year keeps coming up. In 92, my mom gifted me an old, used Atari 2600 that she picked up at the Goodwill store she managed.
I got my snes in 92!
Got mine the following year. My mom wanted to play super mario with Yoshi.
When my mom got us a NES (later added a SNES & Genesis), she always wanted me to sit down and play so she could watch. It was kinda weird.
Nothing compares to playing duck hunt for the first time in your parents TV or kicking your first turtle shell.
So much love for those games
Yeah as a kid, getting a new game console was always my favorite memory from Christmas.
Getting a PS1 is definitely top 5.
Flash backs of duckhunt
I still remember exactly how that felt.
The ubiquitous 80s couch.
Now imagine finding it in your parents closet in November unwrapped, having to wait another month to open that bitch xmas morning....
..only to find out it was stashed there for your aunt and uncle and it was actually for your cousin....
Oh that made my soul die inside. I’m sorry mate.
Thanks man. I got one the following xmas :)
Glad to hear it was made right in the end
That new smell lol. That’s what I remember.
No one can describe how it feels to eat a soul and steal their Christmas gift
Our Mans has the Nintendo sweatsuit primed & pressed on a Christmas morning!! Haha good pic. Wish my parents had a pic of me opening mine.
My divorced parents did not talk. But they pooled resources so I got R.O.B. with the gyro game. Happiest xmas ever
Nintendo Sixty Foooooooour!!
Oh the memerys
Felt the same when my sister gave me her nintendo 64
Had to wait a week after Christmas for mine as they were sold out. Still have it downstairs on a shelf with the other systems.
Hahaha you already had the clothes but no console? Man that's fandom!
I remember opening up a Wii U for Christmas
He is a FAN! I wish I had that outfit even now as an adult woman. I remember I got this one Christmas too. Good times, good times.
God this was exactly me back in the day; wish I had a pic to immortalize it
Hah, we had a couch with exactly that fabric around that time.
My mom, who NEVER bought anything fun, got us an Atari 2600 for Christmas when they came out.
Totally out of the blue. Wasn't even anything we asked for.
Best present ever!
You can control the ducks with the controller!
yea it can, PogChamp
By the joy on his face, I thought it was a red rider BB gun 😉
Oh man your parents splurged. All I got was the box and super Mario brothers. No gun, no robot, no duck hunt.. none of that shit.
But that damn dog would mock you when you miss the ducks!
hell yeah, I remember the feeling too! And I looked exactly like that, ahh good times!
I’m still feel the same feeling now, was hype when I got my switch
That’s the same face my son made when he got his NES! Cool memory!!
This brings back memories
I was just talking about this the other day, truly best Xmas ever. No presents since came close to bringing that joy when my bro and me opened that!
Back when gamers weren't just a bunch whiny little dicks.
