Near UC, there’s a couple vinyl shops that usually have Mac. I got DT, I love life (before it was on streaming) and Live From Space all sealed! Ones called Torn Light Records & the other one’s called Moles Record Exchange
i’ve never copped a rollin recs record but have always been tempted to because they have a great selection of mac… how is the record in comparison to a non bootleg?
Can I make a recommendation? Anything audio technica is really good when it comes to players. Of course, there's the downside of not having built in speakers, you'll need an amp, preamp, speakers, the whole shebang.
If you don't have room try a victrola. Also, don't listen to what other people say about suitcase players ruining your vinyl. That's been proven incorrect, and that only begins to happen after about 100-200 plays of a single record. Get a suitcase victrola
OP, this one is your best bet for your situation. We can talk all day about whether or not those suitcase players will ruin records or not, but they also sound like ass.
I used an AT like this one for quite a while with some powered Bluetooth speakers. Getting into vinyl gets pricy, but it’s pretty rewarding. Just feel like a small warning is in order, that AT can be a gateway drug.
When you end up purchasing a record player for those don’t skimp out. The extra couple hundred bucks will pay itself off in the long run. I’d recommend doing some research over on r/vinyl and r/turntables.
Dont try to rush into making a decision and definitely avoid the cheap briefcase turntables(crosley and victrola). I’d personally reccomend the fluance RT series but there are a wide assortment of great turntables around. Good luck!
A good beginner tunrtable I use is the Audio Technica
ATLP60x. It's easy to use for beginners and won't scratch your records like tgose suitcase players. Try doing your own research and see what works best for you. Welcome to the expensive hobby of vinyl collecting
Just steer clear of any suitcase type record players. They’ll mess up your vinyl!
Good to know! Thanks!
Didn’t know that and I own one of them
Love the sign in the back bro. Most dope 💯💯
Most dope till infinity ❤️
where’d you snag the DT record??
Local vinyl shop that just opened where I go to college. There's a shit ton of records. The main shop is in Cinci Ohio it's called Black Plastic
Yo I go to Black Plastic in Cincy!

Rollin recs restock them every once and a while. It’s where I got my copy

My copy sounds great . No flaws that I’ve noticed on any of my boots . To bad there is no official DT vinyl tho .
Wait there isn't? So did I get a bootleg?
Yes it’s a bootleg. There has never been an official release. I’m sorry that you found out now after you bought it.
Eh still glad I have it. I've never actually listened to DT so I'm looking forward to doing it in this form :)
you’re in for a treat. but be fair warned it’s definitely his darkest project by far.
Good to know. Looking forward to it :)
The biggest variety of his discography😂 love it

So I live in a dorm so I don't really have enough room for that. Do you know of any Bluetooth record players or something of that sort that is good?

Audio Technicia makes a Bluetooth record player
If the commenter wanted something bluetooth, a speaker would be good
I was meaning that’s it’s a record player that can Bluetooth to a speaker
Ah okay
Yeah I guess I was a bit vague lol

Thank you!!! That's probably what I'll get honestly
It was great for my first player… had a soundbar that I hooked it up to, which was a little tricky until you get it figured out
Sounds like a plan! Soundbar plus vinyls 👌
Hell yeah dude, my first record was Blue Slide Park and I didn’t have a player either lmao

I'll look into Victrolas thanks!

Thank you so much! I'll definitely check those out
Gonna give another big up to those Fluance RT tables.

Where did you get the most dope sign?
I made it! There as an event on my campus at the start of the year to make your own street sign :)

based delusional thomas record
If you want a cheapish reliable turntable, look up Audio Technica
Don't go cheap with it because you will pay in other ways!
Vinyl is plural
Good to know :)
Avoid anything with that little red needle. That shit will tear your records up baaaaad
