I have 2 fans. Being able to cook on my pc is a feature.

Frostybot62626

Rich ass mf

proscriptus

Neat. I buy food.

Moze_0047

Bro, why not wait for X670/X670E boards and CPU's? U would have got this one hell of a lot cheaper.

SynGT

Because: https://www.reddit.com/r/MSI\_Gaming/comments/wlhpke/comment/ijtzo9p/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

imKills

Haha. It was a unique situation. I had to build it by a certain timeframe. Otherwise I would have waited for Zen4 and either gone that route, or gotten this cpu for cheaper. I've been using it a lot the last couple of days and I'm really happy with it, though.

free224

Um....how much did you spend on fans? It better look like the 4th of July! Congrats on the build

Tight-Log

13 fans???? Rookie numbers.

Chrisctrlgaming

Ikr, needs more fans

GreatnessRD

I have anxiety just thinking about the cable management on those Corsair fans, lol. Nice, clean build as well. Congrats.

farmertrue

I have 13 Corsair fans (way more than ever necessary) in my 5000X case, 10 of which are rgb, and it was WAY more than I ever expected. It was also my first build and was the part that took the longest to install and manage by a long shot. I even spent a full two weeks researching the easiest way to install so many Corsair fans in the 5000 series [but it turned out so extremely well and was well worth the trouble](https://pcpartpicker.com/b/dTwzK8)

Technical_Tank_7282

Looks great.

SMHalcyon

What cables are those? The Lian Li Strimers?

farmertrue

On my build? I listed every part, down to what batteries I use in controllers, on the parts list. But I used the Corsair Premium Cable kit Gen 4 Cat 4 in the all black. I also used the Corsair Cable Comb kit for those. They are a little tricky to get looking just right, but they make a huge difference. Plus they’re full length cables and not the extensions. The Lian Li strimmers look nice but I personally stay away from extensions.

imKills

Sorry, idk if you're talking to him or me (the OP). But mine are Lian Li Strimers Plus V2s!

nevtugardic

It's lookin' cool!

Postal_Monkey

Gonna kick butt in Minecraft I see

farmertrue

This is almost identical to what I would build if money wasn’t a factor. Very nice build! You have all fantastic parts. The only thing I would’ve changed was the PSU and cables but that’s a preference thing. Great stuff! My only question is why not buy the ML120 Elites in the 3 packs? Oh that’s right, it’s because it’s cheaper to buy them individually than it is to buy the 3 packs all because they come with an rgb hub. Which most people end up buying/using commander core XT anyway which makes the rgb hub unnecessary.

BakaPaca

That's a lot of RGB!

Xeygar1

13 fans, mans computer takes off when under heavy loads

Technical_Tank_7282

Clean.

masteroogazooga

Great components. You should show the build after it being built.

masteroogazooga

Ops I didn't realize their were more than one picture, looks nice.

BigHush1337

I would go with full amd instead of rtx in my opinnion. Great and better results

GreatnessRD

And where are you pulling this foolishness from? lol

BigHush1337

From the results in the u/overclock and many more?

GreatnessRD

That's interesting. I'd love to see results of a 5950x/3090Ti system vs a 5950x/6950 XT system. Maybe I'll go take a look because again, that sounds like foolishness to me. Though there is some benefits for an AMD build, I'm just hard pressed to believe it in this case as OP has Ryzen's top mainstream consumer CPU and the best GPU currently on the market.

ShoeGod420

looks great. Kind of related, if anyone is in the market for a 011 dynamic case I'm trying to get rid of mine.

Claudeviool

What case is this?

ImTheFran

Click on the first pic, it's O11 Dynamic Evo.

imKills

Yup, Lian Li 011 Dynamic Evo!

Claudeviool

Nice, im thinking of upgrading stuff with the coming of 7000 series ryzen... waiting for the x3d series... but really digging those cases... i just need a shit ton of fans :D

imKills

Ooooh I bet the x3d series are gonna be amazing for gaming. If you're interested in the o11d evo I say go for it. It's an absolute pleasure to build in. And, yeah, the fans are really cool lol. People assume it's going to be loud but it's actually the most quiet build I've had since the fans don't need to run at high RPMs!

Claudeviool

I really like that setup.. I just need to start saving really really hard XD i want a new case, new mobo new ram, processor and gpu... so there comes another PSU too .... Oh, and ultrawidescreen too XD God... i gotta build me that mancave i always wanted That way i can use the current system as recordingstudio thingy..

imKills

So basically an entire new PC lol. I'd get Zen4, myself, but I'd need a new cpu, mobo, and ram!

ColbusMaximus

You've basically created a tornado in you case.

ProfHansGruber

What’s the use case for your 3090 Ti?

pendoolol

What’s the damage big boy

DeadlyMixProductions

Looks loud

imKills

It's actually really quiet because I don't have to run the fans at high rpms!

imKills

Capable_Secret_5522

Why not watercool the gpu and the cpu with a proper block when you allready spent that much only for fans

imKills

I lack the experience to properly do it myself. And I don't like to pay to have others build my stuff. Everything runs super cool how it is. The GPU runs especially cool compared to others. I really expected it to be hotter than my other PC with a 3080 Ti but it runs much cooler. The highest I've seen it go was 54 degrees. I would like to build a custom loop system one day but I still have a lot to learn on that side of things before jumping in! Thank you for the reply though 😎

Capable_Secret_5522

Have you checked the gpu clock speeds in comparison to the temperature? With standart settings they tend to throttle to stay below 60°C

imKills

It's all on default settings

imKills

1920MHz gpu clock, 990mV, 10502MHZ memory clock

Capable_Secret_5522

Normally this gpu should go well beyond 2000MHz if I remembee right. Compare the glock when it's still cold to when it reaches abput 55 degrees. That delta is the value you are looking for :)

imKills

I may eventually play around with some overclocking/undervolting settings. Just haven't gotten there, yet.

imKills

I haven't checked it under load, but I assume it would stay on those settings. The only thing I've done is enable resizable bar and adjust the fans to a pretty aggressive curve

ElphTrooper

That's a lot of fans. Mine has 4 plus one in the PSU and 3 more in the graphics card so 8.

imKills

Oh I never thought to count those! So I have 17 fans! Lol
