We’ve certainly got injury issues, but that was a dumpster fire of a game, even for our current state of the roster.

What are they getting wrong? Timbers have been up a man for 30 minutes and have looked like 11 people who have never played together. It’s one thing to support the team, it’s another thing to be willfully blind to their obvious faults. And now they give up a second goal while up a man in stoppage.

This is it. I LOVE the Timbers and am probably more generous than most in my assessment of our players' capabilities; I love to look for silver linings. I don't have anything positive to say about this one. Woof.

I’ve followed this team religiously ror 12 years. I know who’s injured, but I also know when the team lacks any creativity or chemistry. Blanco and Chara are out, and that’s a tough pill to swallow, but Chara is 36 years old and it’s still to be determined whether or not Blanco is still the same player this year as he was in seasons past and Niezgoda has been abysmal this season. Considering he’s pretty much our only striker, this is pretty upsetting. Before the start of the season, the FO knew that Chara, though still showing solid performance, was getting long in the tooth. They also knew that there was a chance we wouldn’t re-sign Blanco and, even if we did, he may be prone to injury and/or not deliver the same level of performance as we’d become used to. The FO also knew that Mora would be out for months and that relying on Niezgoda as our sole option up top was super duper risky. Despite all this, they built the team that we have and it’s been a total shit-show. All of this, and I haven’t even mentioned the deficiencies at right and left back. So don’t sit here and talk down to me and every other fan who’s disappointed with the level of play from this team. We’ve watched every game this season and we know what we know.

Fraser is good. Team has been rebuilt well over the last couple years. This year will be tough. Higher expectations meets up with some key changes in the roster. Zardes is a fun signing. Keep an eye on the Valencia guy that just came on at CB. Also the kid Max that started tonight has a high ceiling. Losing Trusty this summer will hurt, but that's what the new signing was for.
