I love it! Did you expose the foreground differently, or just let it run in the star trail photos? It seems like you have over an hour of images and I would think the car trails would be overpowering.
I think what happened was, there was 2 separate photos with the same angle but different exposure time. 1 for stars, other for the highway. And then just photoshopping the back & foreground into 1 photo!!
Perfectly answers my question, thanks
No worries mate!
The shot was taken over half an hour. It’s a 30 second exposure, left on continuous for about half an hour. So it’s roughly 60, 30 second photos. If that makes sense. The put into Lightroom, adjust some exposures and exported at jpg, then into starstax that blends them all together. Then back into Lightroom for further edits. Glad you like my shot 😊
Yea I've done a few before so I know what you're talking about. I just thought the trails where lover than a half hour of imaging.
Awesome photo!! Where is this? And what were the settings!!??
I’m located in NSW in Australia in a small town called Branxton. This is the highway just outside it. Settings i think were 30”,f/4.5, ISO 200, 10mm
Man i want to learn how this is done.... Is it composited or natural?
