They don't have a fixed pronoun. He switches pronouns on the fly, like in "Like a weed, naturally, as a matter of course" (Which belongs to another Non-binary/Agender character)

He was born a male and than transferred into a female later in life. So TECHNICALLY Najimi's a he but WE call him "they" because she changed genders and uses that power like she's genderqueer.
Where’s the proof that Najimi was born a he? The character is meant to be androgynous so at what point in the story was Najimi’s true gender ever revealed?
I do think one could categorically prove whether Najimi is a he or a she if they looked into it enough, but that would ultimately be a theory as Najimi’s true gender is whatever the author wants them to be at any given time.
I think everyone latches on to when Najimi tries to get out of the awkward situation where a guy is confessing his love to them in Ch11 by claiming they are a male even though they are described two chapters before as a liar and inconsistent about their gender and even claims to be a girl.
Had to double check the anime and they also call them out for being a liar/inconsistent and they do claim to be a girl.
You're telling me, I swear every single episode discussion I've seen about CSM is filled with people claiming the anime left out or changed stuff that happened in the manga and it either didn't happen in the manga or its shot for shot faithful. It's so funny how confident people are about their headcanon, like the material is pretty easily available to check yourself before spouting off.
