Ho yeah. Ho yeah. Ho yeah.
Just testing my new sound card!
White, Roots, Funny
*PC speakers play Dixie*
Folks, I'm so White that during the riots I went out and bought a television!
How many people here are lucky enough to be members of the Nordic sub group of the Aryan race!? Let's see some hands!
"We haven't seen Bill in two days since he's been 'working' on his computer" - A line that I wish were in this episode.
came here for this
So did Bill
Man, I really am nostalgic for these newspaper ads about upcoming TV episodes that week
The old tv guide advertisements were great. They were like mini movie posters for all the big shows that week.
"You made them wade through pork and beans!"
My favorite scene is Hank walking Peggy through what the site actually is.
"Uh, here's where you can buy the flies"
This is one of my favorite episodes.
“i’m sure the money goes to important foot-related charities”
“uh, your socks are for sale too”
I love the ending, but man I have to skip this episode every time it comes up, the description and noises of stuff is so disgusting, the fly thing in particular makes me gag every time I hear it
Edgier advertising than I would assume
Fox became a hardcore sex network so fast, I didn't even notice.
I recall a lot of edgy advertisement with King of the Hill. Season 4 brought KOTHs timeslot back to Sunday with Family Guy and Mike Scully Simpsons and I think they wanted the advertising to match their outrageous energy so King of the Hill didn't seem hokey and mudane by comparison.
Boundaries were tested in the early oughts.
One of the soundbites that they’d always play in the promos is Peggy saying “Why are men so attracted to hoes?” and it’s been burned into my brain from watching The Simpsons as a kid
This is real? I know the episode is real, but I'm surprised they were able to advertise it like this, haha.
Fox had a reputation in those days as edgy, crass, and cool.
For the majority of my childhood every night on FOX, starting at 6pm, there would be a back to back lineup of King of the Hill and The Simpsons for two hours. That was always my favorite part of the evening, without fail.
there's a funny bit in a latter episode where hank doesn't let bobby watch fox for that reason
I watched Fox every day after school.
More than once it was banned in the house because our crass humor was obviously coming from the Simpsons (mostly true...).
My parents would get upset every night at dinner time because we programmed the tv to turn on at 6pm...
Fox in the 90's was very much about being risque.
The simpsons had a bit where Homer flipped back and forth behind Fox and Fox News. Can’t remember the episode
That sounds like it might of come after season 12, which means it was in the latter 2000s and technically not classic simpsons or part of this era. I haven’t seen that episode. But there is the, “fox turned into a hardcore sexual channel so gradually, I didn’t even notice” bit from the episode where Lisa gets married. Season six or seven.
It's Season 18, "You Kent Always Say What You Want"
Liberals...WOO HOO!...liberals...WOO HOO!
Yep it's real. it's on the episode IMDb page if you're wandering.
That is awesome. Gonna go check some of these out.
This is from my local fox affiliate!!
Does it actually redirect? I just got sent to wixy.
I just got a warning from Ghostery.
I did it on my iPhone and it tried to add a calendar event to my phone lol
Just testing my new sound card.
it redirects to an NFL store lol (might be a scam)
I married a woman Peggy. Not a…pornstar.
The manga looks great
Anyone else remember going to the real peggysfeet.com?
You should post this in 90's nostalgia sub. Brings me butterflies just looking at this.
Where is Fox 61?
That’s probably why I feel like I saw this ad in the Norwich Bulletin many many years ago.
And cue the news intro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdQ2q3CwzTU
Thanks! I was curious
Top 10 weirdest episode?
Right up there with the pork factory. They really had some wild ones
Pigmalion is easy #1 for me, or when Bill wears a dress and is suicidal. Those 2 jump out.
*click* oh yeah
*click* oh yeah
*click* oh yeah
these days it would be about her making an onlyfans thinking it was educational
'Are you the tickler?'
I can almost hear the voice of the announcer they had, then.
"AND AFTER AN ALL-NEW THAT 70'S SHOW-"
That was only season 4? Why did I think that it was in a later season?
Foot porn ep?
Rotting pumpkins and pork'n beans.
"Peggy's been bad girl"
"Good lord, what kind of smut are they pushing???"
Pictures don't load but assuming it was similar to what was seen in the episode.
It was. I remember watching this episode when it aired and the real website was how it was portrayed on the show.
My lord do I dislike this episode 😂
Has anyone visited the site?
Well they sure did a fantastic job of including the 'twist' in the newspaper advert. I love it.
I should have kept my old tv guides like Homer, imagine all the old promos from KotH and other we are missing.
I’ve always believed in the three ‘Rs’
Reading Tv Guide
Writing to Tv Guide…..
Renewing Tv Guide
There was an article written about this episode on Entertainment Weekly https://ew.com/article/2000/05/08/king-hill-features-internet-porn/ talking about the website lol
“It’s not a porn site! It’s a fetish website.”
I miss this show! After I had my baby and was recovering from my c-section I binged the ENTIRE series.
I want to frame this
We're catching him on the tail end of a BWAAAAA!
>Here comes the fondue.
I literally just watched this episode 5 mins ago. Crazy.
Lol the "visit peggysfeet.com" 🤣
Ah yes, Peggy's Magic Sex Feet.
