Unfortunately in Yellowstone, there isn't any Internet so had to wait to upload it til I got home. >Anyway, it's done. Comments/critiques/etc are welcome. Especially considering the classes since I did some weird stuff with 'em.

Atma-Stand

This looks like a really "Get your feet wet in Fantasy jump." Definitely plan on jumping this.

William_Jumper

Sounds rad. There's a DQ1+2 one I did previously even if 3 comes first chronologically

Same_Patience7711

I'm very glad that the Dragon Quest games are finally getting jumps, my Square Enix chain was feeling very empty without them.

William_Jumper

I'll be making something else once DQ3 is done and then onto Chapters of the Chosen. Then I'll skip to 8 and 11 since I haven't played any of the others and want to play them first

duskfire88

Cursed King and Elusive Age? Oh yeah! And thanks for showing Dragon Warrior/Quest the love. Much appreciated.

SonicCody12

Is this from one of our own? Because I remember a William being here

William_Jumper

Yeah same guy. I've just been exhausted from the vacation. I just cross post here and on /tg/

SonicCody12

Cool thanks I'll upload it to the drive.

Ronette - Female (Rolled 7) - Age: 22 (+50 for 15 + 1d10) - Total CP: 1700 Location: Portoga (+50 for 1d12) Origin(s): Merchant, Priest Perks: Basic Training (0), Medal Hunter (0), Prayers (0), Goldfinder (0), Divine Immunity (-100), Tithe (-200), Dig and Dug (-100), Service Call (-200), Dragon Form (Puff!) (-400) Items: Staff of Resurrection (0), Astraea's Abacus (0), Dragon Robe (-50), Prayer Ring (-50), Epic Apron (-50), Orichalcum (-50), Goddess Ring (-100) Companions: Companion Import x2 (-100), Canon Companion: Erdrick (-100) Drawbacks: Game Gender Mechanics (+100), Random Encounters (+200), Hard Mode (+300) Dragon Quest is probably my favorite video game series, so of course I'm coming here. Between the bonus CP for rolling age and location, as well as the drawbacks, there's almost too many good things to choose. I went with a merchant/priest build to earn money and learn skills I don't quite have yet. I'm also starting to involve companions more often to strengthen them up, and with the three of us plus Erdrick, that's the traditional 4 man RPG party. I'm confident in our teamwork to handle the stronger enemies, and even if there's an issue, that's where the dragon form comes in.

Bell_Cross

Finally. Another DQ jump. Too bad it's the one game I haven't played yet. Once I finish 2 and play 3 I'll start this. Thanks.

Is it just me... or does Jester seem to be better than drop-in? Yeah, drop-in is (strangely enough) seemingly evil and Jester has that ~~borken~~ awesome 600 power. Still, i'd rather be an army of one than a controller of an army. Half tempted to slot this in after that eberron jump. Or before it. Awesome magic, here I come. Edit: So... how do I do Puff Puff? :P

Nerx

> So... how do I do Puff Puff? :P Head to the nearest babe

SonicCody12

Well jester is actually two classes. Jester it self which covers perks 100cp to 400cp and Sage which is the capstone perk. This is a reference to how a jester can become a Sage immediately after reaching level 20, while other classes needs an item called “Words of Wisdom”

Ah. i never got to play any of the dragon quest games after 1 with the exception of demos for the more recent ones, slime hero, and DQ monsters games.

ThatOtherSatori

Oh hey. my Jumper has a couple companions that'd be interested in bumming around here for a Jump. Couple Items that'd be useful to them too. so I can definitely see this fitting nicely into things.
