This question actually ties up with the latest video from Ian regarding double feed and single feed magazines.
A lot of people complain about Glock mags because they are double stack single feed magazines, which makes them less reliable and harder to reload, especially for larger capacity magazines.
On the other hand, the feeding reliability of a double stack magazine can be an issue, since a AR-15 based PCC is not the same as a SMG, where the weapon was designed around the magazine.
I can only recall one alternative to Glock mags which are the Scorpion EVO mags, used in some AR-15 PCC lowers.
Glock mags are more reliable than Colt systems in my experience. This is something Ian has issued a declaration on that I disagree with. I explain it in detail in this video.

Thanks for the video. It makes sense that a single feed mag would place the round more in line with the chamber and therefore has one less point of complication.
The KP-9 is a joy to shoot and has AK ergonomics for variety, if you so care.
That said, Endomags work perfectly with a CMMG Banshee upper setup and that Radial Delay bolt. It has a built in ejector on the bolt face like a normal AR.
I was more thinking the KE Arms KP-9 lower, but I appreciate the input. Maybe I’ll have to do that for my next PCC.
I was looking at a RDB system, just decided against it for the time being.
The 32 round Colt mags will be more reliable than 33 round Glock mags, and you get last round bolt hold open on the Colt mags with no extra fucking around.
The Hahn block cost the same (or more) than the KP9 lower. I run a KP9 with the Aero upper, get lrbho, run cheap ets mags, and have truly had no issues at all.
Out of curiosity, what upper are you running?
Standard Aero slick side with either a KAK or BA barrel and a BA bcg. Can’t remember which barrel manufacturer off the top of my head.
Thanks. If you end up getting an adapter and want to sell those Endo mag adapters hit me up please
Will do.
Sent you a PM.

Colt SMG mags are the other standard.

It seems like a viable solution, and colt mags are fairly affordable.

Hah. Wrong KP-9, oops.
