Tbh, a bandolier tool that let you carry more ammo would be incredible. Although, it would be so broken as to be an absolute requirement alongside a knife and medkit
Right, but a bandolier would be like a passive thing which increases your reserve supply. Maybe instead it could be a perk that affects ammo crates? Then carrying a crate while having bandolier would provide a small boost to reserve ammo?
Go the whole hog... Make it a small slot weapon.
Think about it, a bandolier takes up real estate that could be taken up by a holster, weapon sling or other such shenanigans.
Make it buff the ammo capacity of your one and only weapon to triple it's normal amount. Now people might feel tempted to take the bandolier instead of the trope of "... and a pax, for the extra medium ammo." Sure, that pax will give you a few more bullets... But the bandolier gives you TRIPLE. That would be thirty rounds for your Mosin, Fifteen for your Lebel, or a whopping sixty for your Sparks.
So you then have to choose between being able to quickswap/hotswap, or having enough ammo for multiple sieges on your person.
A bandolier as a tool has no trade-off. Having to choose between it and a backup weapon is a big head scratcher that encourages divergent gameplay styles. The CK Shotgunner might not take an uppercut "just in case I get into a long range fight" anymore. Now he might take the bandolier to circumvent the weapon's abysmal spare ammo situation. But now he's helpless at long range. That's the trade-off.
And of course, it would work wonders for the special ammo situation... Imagine having triple the normal capacity of special bullets...
Exactly, you want one item to match the carrying capacity of double Pax. My vision (and of course this is just an opinion, I respect where you are coming from) is a very cheap small slot item that doesn’t require quartermaster to use and just gives you an extra bump to reserves. So for me it would be very cheap to offset the fact that you do not have a sidearm, but also not as ammo providing because I think if it’s going to have as much ammo as dual Pax that it probably needs to cost *nearly* as much because sustained rifle fire is objectively better than having a sidearm in a whole lot of situations.
> one item to match the carrying capacity of double Pax
One item, which matches the carrying capacity of a double pax... But cannot fire.
A double pax is a perfectly viable short-range option alongside your vetterli for longer range precision shots. When you want to hose somebody down, you have the double pax.
But in this scenario? You don't have that. You don't have the pax at all. Instead, you have the bandolier. That loss of a sidearm is a pretty major drawback, especially for people who might be using specialised primary weapons such as a sparks or a Crown and King. Without the ability to switch to an alternative weapon, you're basically forcing yourself into a single, solitary playstyle but gaining the benefit of having more endurance/stamina in that playstyle.
> but also not as ammo providing
Then people will just take the sidearm. What's the benefit, here? The fact that it's cheaper? Most sidearms top out at 250 bucks, which is pretty cheap and most non-prestiging players are sitting on fortunes of multiple hundred thousand hunt-dollars. The price mark will not attract anybody. They'll just take the sidearm instead.
> needs to cost nearly as much
Then they'll just take the dual pax and the bandolier will be redundant.
>sustained rifle fire is objectively better
That depends on the situation. At long range? Definitely. At short range? That sidearm has a much higher rate of fire, especially if you doubled up.
But what about shotgun builds? Without a sidearm to return fire at long range, you're at a pretty severe disadvantage.
I just don’t think what you are proposing is even trying to be balanced, I don’t think having 30 rounds in reserve with a Mosin is ever going to be even remotely balanced, but I think the real issue is that you don’t see the economy of the game as being valid, which maybe is fair if you don’t prestige or are just really good at the game. But for those of us with less than $2,000 at most times it would be nice to have a solid cheap option for utility without being an excuse to just dump rounds down range hoping to get a cheeky wall bang. Again though, I see where you are coming from, but triple is way too much, in my opinion. I’d like to see this thing cost $10, give you maybe a third of your normal reserve as a bonus, and ultimately be something I’m looking to drop in favor of a dead enemy’s sidearm after I’ve depleted my reserves in a fight.
With one hand on the trigger, one hand on the cross,
Jesus and his family are two things he's lost,
He cries Oh Lord what have you done,
You wont never see heaven, nor kingdom come
They should add this to the game, this would be a dope legendary. I was way more impressed than I thought I would be when I saw the title, this is incredible
How can a original character be considered a cosplay? Serious question, i Always thought that cosplay as meant to be based on a existing character. Great work btw realy fits the game aesthetics.
Thanks!
Probably everyone has an opinion here.
I think that the original is a selection of clothes, equipment, props, decorations corresponding to this game, which are photographed and edited in colors that convey the atmosphere of the game.
These photos, I hope, capture the atmosphere of Hunt and not any other Western games like RDR2 or Call of Juarez.
No hats 0/10.
Jokes aside, this actually looks dope af. I would imagine the Preacher would have some finger/hand tattoos like some Tier III Hunters like some sort of marking/effigy as well!

Wait... we both have Reddit accs, you sly thing :D
If only you could carry this much ammo with a handcannon, devs pls fix
Medium slot bandolier
Tbh, a bandolier tool that let you carry more ammo would be incredible. Although, it would be so broken as to be an absolute requirement alongside a knife and medkit
There's already the ammo crate consumables you can use.
Right, but a bandolier would be like a passive thing which increases your reserve supply. Maybe instead it could be a perk that affects ammo crates? Then carrying a crate while having bandolier would provide a small boost to reserve ammo?
The ability to sacrifice weapon squares for bandoliers would be pretty cool.
So make it take two tool slots. Now it forces you to lose your chokes.

Triple is way too much, but I’m loving everything else about this idea because I only carry the pax to stock up my Vetterli.
You already get double with a compatible sidearm. Triple is the same as carrying a double pax and vett on Quartermaster.
Exactly, you want one item to match the carrying capacity of double Pax. Nah. You dont have a back up weapon. Shotgunnwr couldnt even take ranged fight with his idea. Special ammo certain guns would be brutal tho.
Not enough hats, so basically you can't win (jk, McLovin' It!)
Lol yes! Wanted to find a hat, but didn't make it in time. Thank you!
You'll need at least 5 hats. One for you, 2 for the skulls, one for your gun and one for your Bible. At minimum
This is beyond amazing! I need it now
Thank you!
Solid! I’d shell out BBs for the Preacher
Thank you!
wow dude, you look badass as fuck.
Thank you!
With one hand on the trigger, one hand on the cross, Jesus and his family are two things he's lost, He cries Oh Lord what have you done, You wont never see heaven, nor kingdom come

Hmm, nice price!
Looks fantastic

Legit thought it was a render at first. They could throw this in the game as-is, face and all, and it would be perfect.
Wow, thanks!
Thank you all for such a warm response! I really appreciate this=)
11/10
Thank you!
I really like it! I'd love to just see a normal dude like this character as a legendary instead of these hooded and masked edgelords.
Thanks!
Welp, I dub thee The Redeemer
