Hish5dzz

Where can you find the full match replay again ?

Lavear

Hmm why would they sell Tielemans late into the window? They need funds to buy a new player? I think they'd rather have him leave as a free agent than not have a CM the entire season

Fastest-finger

I just can’t believe that one of Mikel’s sons is called Gabriel

gurbazk

i'm excited to see saliba vs vardy on saturday. think vardy is going to be surprised by who he's coming up against

Only_Advertising2911

Might as well get Hudson-Odoi as Saka's backup. Only 21 and plays for Ghana.

mkmore4

Watched a Goldbridge video, and he seems to think he has good intel that we'll get Tielemans in late August near the end of the window.

Dr_Fraqz

Goldbridge just throws shit at a wall. Some of it is bound to stick. He doesn't have any intel.

ModeratelyTortoise

What’s he say

mkmore4

pretty much what I said in the first comment. He said he feels similar to this intel than he did when he supposedly called Sterling to Chelsea before most people. He claims he heard a while ago that this would be a late window deal because Leicester pretty much have to sell.

gurbazk

sort of makes sense - later it gets, the cheaper it'll be for us, and there's no real need for us to sign tielemans NOW - fixtures and squad can get by for 2-3 more weeks

Burith

The only problem is Leicester have Chelsea and United at the end of this month. Would be justified if they find a reason not to sell him at that time. It's not like they would miss out on a lot of transfer money anyway.

mkmore4

I just can't see them letting him go on a free. They need the money.

gurbazk

don't think they'll allow him go for free next summer - he's already said he's not signing a contract. 25m is a decent amount too, vs the 0 they get from otherwise i think this happens at the end of the window, the quoted price has gone down from 35m to 30m to 25m already - they need the sale

Huhwtfbleh

Guys I need some help A. Buy an Arsenal shirt. B. Learn how to drive a car and get a license which has been due for 5 years at this point.

victorisaskeptic

B. get the license. Better decision long term... Then save up for the shirt

Huhwtfbleh

Good call lol. But the shirts look so good smh.

MangoLordXL

Kessie or nah? I'd love for us to make that surprise move. Would make sense...

JoniVanZandt

Barca are a basket case club, there's no telling what's going to happen with them from one day to the next. Rn I'd say the chances Kessie walks and the chances that Barca shuffle a few players off and are able to register him are about equal.

espada_da

Rival fans can’t admit Arteta’s winning them over after seeing the bts footage from All or Nothing so they say “oh it’s a pr show to make Arteta look good 😒”

[deleted]

Kessie available for free?

“The boss had balls”

LordRekrus

Does anyone here remember an old website called ‘celebdaq’ or something like that? You could buy fake shares in celebrities and when good or bad things happened their stocks would rise. I think this would be a pretty fun thing to bring in to the football / soccer world.

aofrantic

...are you joking? It literally happened and was a huge multi, multi million dollar scam that hurt many people. Everything like that is an absolute scam. Stocks are (theoretically) tied to the value of a company. You're talking about a pump and dump scam with a side of ponzi. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2021/oct/01/football-index-executives-were-warned-model-was-unsustainable-after-launch

LordRekrus

I did not know about that, however what I’m talking about is a game, worth nothing but bragging rights so I don’t think it’s really comparable. I just re read my initial comment and maybe I didn’t make it clear enough, but the celebdaq website was for nothing other than fun. No money involved.

Goodship01

can we sign Rashford just to make ManU fans sting?

Huhwtfbleh

You can't buy a PR agency mate. Actually you can but not if you want to play football.

aaronfebruary95

Rashford is finished. He's now a mediocre player and won't get better as he's already 25. Arteta and Edu refuse to buy mediocre players to fill the squad, even if we lack depth in that role (which we don't in this case as we have Martinelli and Smith-Rowe). Either you bring in quality players (or players with immense potential), or none at all. Can't waste money like that.

JoniVanZandt

Rashford is absolutely crying out for a fresh start at a team like Palace where the fans will appreciate his ability but also expect some average performances and 10 - 12 goals a season represents a good return.

fhghhhhggggg

Remo freuler to Forest wow the money in the PL compared to other leagues is crazy

GopherNutz

It’s already a super league which is why I never understood the sense in the top English clubs wanting to help the Reals, Barcas and Bayerns keep up with the ESL. I walked around Stratford last month near the Olympic Stadium, I know people aren’t crazy about it as a football stadium but the continued development around that area is going to do wonders for West Ham and they just broke an attendance record last weekend. That’s a top 8/mid table PL club. How many mid table European teams are bringing in 62,000? Then you have sleeping giants like Newcastle, Villa, Leeds and so on. 5-10 years down the road I think we’ll be amazed by what the PL looks like.

yukpurtsun

with edu, per, mikel, jack and potentially santi involved at the club surely its the time now for wenger to start showing up to games

EL0NgatedMUSKet

santi???

yukpurtsun

hes said he’d be willing to work as a coach with arteta

[deleted]

[удалено]

gurbazk

it was a question of responsibilities. arteta is manager, so football side decisions are his. the rest of the higher ups also have to worry about finances and the impact on them. they didn't cave in to stubbornness or ego. they caved into the football side being more important than the financial loss in this situation. that's it if it was an ego thing, it would cause alarm bells to go off for the rest of the squad, no? they all still love him

__impala__

Arteta’s no nonsense attitude is his best trait. He doesn’t tolerate any rubbish and sets a standard. Contrast to Man United, players not turning up for pre season, perpetual dressing room leaks and dressing room cliques. Arteta is clearly in control and commands the respect of the players, anyone of them wouldn’t step out of line if they got benched or were unhappy with playing time. It’s benne along time since this was the case at Arsenal. Even Wenger in his final years looked a bit of a soft touch

Sayek

> there is absolutely no second chance in his book I think Auba had a lot of chances. Keep in mind he was late for a team meeting before the North London Derby last season too. That happened in March 2021. I think it's probably true he was late for training a lot too and that was an issue for him in Dortmund too. It comes a point where you have to draw the line, especially if he is your club captain and you got a young team. I think there was a way back for Auba, but it didn't seem like he wanted to apologize and move on. Seemed like he took offense to Arteta calling him out and removing him as captain. Yes Auba had a rough year, but he should have went to Arteta, told him and maybe even stepped down as captain if it was too much for him. You can't break all the rules just because you're having a hard time. I'm sure other players are going through shit but still show up on time every day. > there is long list of players as his victim Who else? Guendouzi? He showed disrespect to his team at a warm weather training camp and in the Brighton game. Then refused to apologize. Ozil? Fenerbahce also cancelled his contract... leads me to believe it wasn't just a problem with Emery and Arteta. You could MAYBE point at people like AMN as being mishandled but how you claimed Arteta is some vindictive manager who is out to get people is misguided. It really doesn't come across that. He is trying to build a team and squad with the correct values and goals. You can't have people not following rules or being late or not listening. It just doesn't work then.

LifeAfterHarambe

You’re speaking absolute gibberish.

aofrantic

Claiming people have "mental health issues" with zero proof is really gross and the post should be taken down.

NegativeHeli

United replacing Rangnick with ETH https://images.app.goo.gl/vicGg8GkhoP6m87S9

ojoawo

Defense looking one body light. We need a Monreal-versatile kind of player (who won’t look to start often) to cover the LCB. Saka. Xhaka and probably Partey covers still not yet in. We needed a LW/RW versatile player like Raphinha

gurbazk

tomi, cedric (white) gabriel, saliba, white, holding (tomi) zinchenko, tierney (tomi) looks pretty damn good to me

katakeitachi

Tierney also a backup at LCB.

manc_1011

is there still any chance you can get the adidas arsenal retro jacket the yellow one?

Setter_sws

I think West Ham have had a good transfer window. They might sign Borna Sosa, with Gianluca Scamacca, Maxwell Cornet, and Nayef Aguerd, also Alphonse Areola... I feel that window is what people think Tottenham did. I would take Sosa over perisic, Scamacca over Richarlison, Cornet over Spence, Aguerd over Lenglet, Areola over forster... Really Bissouma is the only one that is obviously more talented, but West Ham signed Flynn downes who had a good year at swansea and has potential.... Am I absurd? I think West Ham will be a tough team to play this year.

GopherNutz

Made a comment about West Ham on one of the newer comments but it’s a sleeping giant. Not sure Moyes is the man long term but pulling Scamacca from Italy was a show of real intent by that club. They’re going to graduate from being a pesky mid table club to contention for CL every season real soon, they have the infrastructure in place already and are building quickly.

Handsome bastard

LordRekrus

Just watching some MOTD highlights of the 07/08 campaign which is the season before I started watching. Damn Adebayor had some good games.

bonerjams69420

where can u watch those highlights ?

KSBrian007

Souster98 has the entire season's highlights. Just look for his channel.

bonerjams69420

awesome thx

LordRekrus

If you look up ‘07/08 motd Arsenal’ on YouTube it has the whole season. Looking forward to checking it out more after work

Bald_And_Bankrupt

Have a look on youtube, I found a bunch of old MOTD from various years on there the other day and had a lot of fun reliving the good (and some bad) times :)

bonerjams69420

ok cool thx

bonerjams69420

first season i started watching . should have had that winning goal against liverpool in the champions league if ryan babel didn’t dive. that theo walmart run was my first great arsenal memory , was sooooo epic edit: first great memory was the round before lol. cesc at the san siro

LordRekrus

‘Theo Walmart’ Actually I don’t disagree with this, not that I’m American however I feel like he had the potential to be a more prestige supermarket if he really wanted to.

bonerjams69420

hahaha

bonerjams69420

lmao theo walmart , no idea how i typed that lol

Yes, he did.

Huhwtfbleh

Uhh... Hey guys. How's it going? Edit : unbanned it seems. Prolly gonna disappoint a few people haha

bonerjams69420

why did u get banned?

Huhwtfbleh

Same reason most people got banned recently. Regarding the player and the thing and the discussion around it. Don't think I broke any rules but a mod carpet bombed the sub one day and banned quite a few people.

SpartanMickey

I was banned for not even mentioning his name.. The moderation here be crazy.

EL0NgatedMUSKet

nah ur a bellend i look thru your comments for legit 5 seconds and all i seen was arteta slander.

Huhwtfbleh

Yes, and? You think I should be banned for not having confidence in the manager eh?

gonshairlinee

Fair enough. I did found your post history a bit hilarious though

mazdamansouri

Who else needs to leave for us to go after Tielemans? Runarrson is off to Turkey, Mari is officially gone. Reiss isn’t going anywhere cause of his new injury. Bellerin i’m sure will be terminated soon.

cballs1977

Not sure if I read or heard this. Apparently, the club was happy to wait to sign Tielemans on the free in the coming summer. Would only make a move earlier if another club came sniffing. Not sure how true that is to be honest but makes a bit of sense if we go after our true target of another winger.

MatteoGuendouzi90

I reckon once Bellerin's wages are off the books we'll have enough to go after a new signing, whether it's Tielemans or a winger. Nelson is probably on negligent wages, and if we were to sell him he'd only bring a nominal fee so it doesn't matter whether he stays or goes. AMN will at least find interest on loan with a club covering his modest wages, so that's another problem to be solved. Pepe is the only real obstacle left. But I trust the club to cover our needs regardless of whether we manage to sell him or not.

LFAIG_

reiss just got a quad injure fml

BrianThatDude

We dismiss these amounts but selling Nelson for 3m pays half of tielemans wages for a year. That's not an insignificant amount.

TorreiraWithADouzi

Do we have some new thing with sportsbet? I don’t remember seeing much betting stuff on social media but I feel like there’s much more now and it’s fucking annoying.

ProcrastinatedSoul

Bellerin offered to Barca and they are deciding. I think this is linked to Betis not being able to register players. But then again, Barca are in the same situation. I just hope this sparks a bidding war between those 2 and we get some kind of fee from him.

IhvolSnow

>Barca are in the same situation. Barca at least has levers.

Optimal_Cry_1782

One year swap loan with Raphinha?

bonerjams69420

plz

A bidding war without a bid.

Don’t like Everton but I’m going to be disappointed if they don’t use Rihanna’s “What’s My Name” for Amadou Onana’s potential chant.

Go to the Everton sub

spicado

Please don’t mention other club’s names on this thread.

apb0101

Wish I didn’t have to honestly and I don’t understand why it would be relevant on an Arsenal forum

skedaddler101

A lot of our top 4 hopes rest on Martinelli and Ødegaard, not just playing well, but actually scoring goals. This was an issue last season, and in the first game, both of them miss sitters :( . We need both of them to get 10-12 goals too have a shot at top 4 imo.

44cprs

Last year, we had 60 goals. Chelsea had 75. Tot 63. 70 this year should give us great chance for top 4. 70 distribution would go something like. 18 Gabi Jesus 12 Saka 8 Martinelli 6 Nketiah 6 ESR 6 Ode 3 Pepe/new wing 2 Gabriel 2 Zin 2 Partey 2 own goal 1 KT 1 Viera 1 Xhaka

ImTalkingGibberish

The main reason we didn't score much is because we didn't have a real striker.

varro-reatinus

If only the opposite side of the midfield wasn't a creative deadzone.

Houssem-Aouar

Fabio Vieira's coming to free us from these Xhackles bro

aofrantic

Martinelli will if he gets enough minutes. Last year he had over 9 expected goals in 2500 minutes. If he played as much as Saka that's 13 goals. Now, he underperformed that, but in his first season he well overperformed his xG. Odegaard just has to shoot more often.

sharreman10

Don't know how much Goldbridge from United Stand knows about transfers. He said today in a video that according to his source Tielemans is Arsenal bound and the transfer to Arsenal will happen this transfer window. What do you guys think?

Garenmain180k

Same guy said Locatelli and Dusan would probably sign. He has no sources he’s just guessing.

Lacabameyang

This prick is full of shit, what the fuck would he know about arsenal

Sayek

It seems that way from the outside even without insider knowledge. What leads me to believe that is how chill Tielemans seems about it and Leicester isn't trying to sell him either or sign a new deal. I think we're told Leicester and Tielemans, we'll come back in before the window closes and we sold some people.

midfivefigs

Lcfc here. It feels much different from our side. zero offers, zero contact with the club, a missed pre-season with new teammates isn’t a sensible way to make a buy. We have the same issue of too many bodies so I get that but it just doesn’t feel right. Personal terms reportedly agreed to before the window opened. Our side was making noises we were prepared to sell him. Not a big money deal in the scheme of things. Be interesting to see how he plays Saturday.

goonerh1

Reminds me of when we bought Partey, they clearly felt there was an advantage in stringing it out as long as possible but seemingly never in doubt. The relaxed approach suggests either they know there's no doubt or Tielemans is happy to move to us but if he cant then he's happy to stick around Leicester. Basically not a lot of doubt in anyone's minds

Arsenalb4gf

Looks like I’m not going to watch the Leicester game on Saturday I’ve bought tickets on the arsenal website as a red member. But I haven’t got my membership card yet Neither have I received my digital pass which most got last week. I can’t believe it would be my first game back from the covid era travelling from Denmark I sent them several mails I called them 2 weeks ago and they said last week would be sent out. I tried to call them again this week on Monday I was prepared on open hour 9:30 am and it’s the same bullocks I’m like number 78 in the queue. Again Tuesday there’s no one to pick up the phone because they’re at a meeting. They don’t even reply to emails. I didn’t want to buy my flight ticket until I received my ticket or it would be completely madness Now I can’t even book flight ticket because it’s sold out. Am I in the wrong here fellas 😭 Naah 😭😭🤒🤒🤒

GarfieldDaCat

Mate you could have just gone to the box office a bit early before kickoff to pick up your tickets there.

Saka_fanboy

Aubameyang didn’t score in 40 of his last 54 arsenal games btw

gonshairlinee

That is genuinely shit wtf

Houssem-Aouar

That sounds so fake but we know how truly shit he was immediately after his new contract

Saka_fanboy

It’s not fake. You are free to check for yourself

Houssem-Aouar

I know it's not fake

apb0101

-Vege

All or Nothing is nothing but a positive imo. For many it reaffirms their belief in Arteta and although it won't convince everyone, I'm sure some who were Arteta-out before have at least questioned themselves.

Mein_Bergkamp

We haven't finished it yet. The behind the scenes for the transfer window will have cmented quite a few issues rather than helped out for a start

EL0NgatedMUSKet

what issues lmao, not panic buying and waiting until the deals you want are actually on?

basedsims

I’m genuinely curious how they’ll cover the devastation of the end of the season. I think they’ll definitely gloss over it as we’ve already seen pretty big losses, flash points & emotion already which is unlike the other AON’s so far. I hope they continue the narrative of the fans being totally behind the club and the gaffer even after the Spurs & Newcastle results, think it’d be weird if they ended it on a bad note given how much the club has creative control

Optimal_Cry_1782

We ended with a win, so there's a bit of a high. Probably ends with Arteta and edu at London Colney planning for the summer window, an encouraging message from Josh Kroenke.... The work never ends, we roll on, etc,.

-Vege

Realistically it'll be a bittersweet note from our perspective. We know how the season ended and how disappointing it is but we also know that *most* of us are fully on board still.

MaxMil84

One thing that has certainly changed is how behind the squad and the manager the entire fanbase had become. I know that can always change quickly, but I think we are going to see an incredible atmosphere at the Emirates on Saturday. If we start strong too our young players will feel the energy! COYG! We're going to smash Leicester

LordRekrus

100% agree. There has been a huge change over the last 12 months and now it seems almost everyone is on board. Of course you can pick apart some things but I really feel like we are heading in the right direction, and I think everyone can see that. Let’s just hope there isn’t too many major set backs. I think one interesting note is that there is multiple teams on a similar trajectory now though. A lot of people are talking a big game about Spurs, and well of course I hope they are wrong. Then there is Man U, who seems a way off at red moment but surely they have to click at some point. Then Newcastle, similar but different to above. Then there’s a couple of other teams poking about. I think this shows that we just really need to get the best out of our team, and look after the squad so that we don’t get any major injuries due to being over played etc. This is the most positive start to a season we have seen in a long time. Hopefully it continues.

basedsims

I think it’s gonna be bouncing mate

__impala__

The Tierney to City rumours are bizarre. If Brighton could try to extort City for Cucurella to the point City backed out, what makes them think we wouldn’t quote them a silly fee for Tierney? I hope they don’t think we owe them any kind of favour for Jesus and Zinchenko, because we paid fair premium prices for players they deemed surplus to requirements. Where as Tierney is a first team player of ours.

randymagnum433

Surely you've been doing this long enough to spot a bullshit rumour?

Sayek

I don't think there is any legs to it but also I feel so bi-polar with Tierney. When he is injured I think about should we cash in, he plays 10 mins as a sub first day of the season and I love him again. He's a very likeable player and would be tough to cash in on him. You'd have to consider it imo if City came with big money (50m ish) considering his injury record. I got a feeling City would offer more like 30m though.

Mein_Bergkamp

It was bollocks as soon as it said we bought zinchenko for midfield but now he's playing full back we realised Tierney can go. We bought him as left back so we can have two proper left backs and avoid what happened last season, why the fuck would we let one of them go?

Perfectionimproved

It’s a made up rumour

Kenny_dies

If we play Real Sociedad at some point during the EL I will happily house one kind Gooner in San Sebastián for the away game. In return I ask an unlimited source of beers when Jesus inevitably bags a hattrick

cesc05651

I’ll fly in from the states to take you up on that

That_Dependent_4801

Mate, I'm all in. If there's a game in the Netherlands you're welcome here.

Kenny_dies

Haha thanks! I am actually from Amsterdam and have my mom’s place I can crash at ;) but appreciate the offer. And definitely can go for beers.

QuOw-Ab

I probably won't be going, but I envy you for living there! Never been, but looks amazing.

Kenny_dies

It’s a dream come true my man

basedsims

San Sebastián is a place on my to go list, heard it’s lovely

Kenny_dies

It’s absolutely beautiful, you’ll love it

findmymind

Anyone feel sorry a bit for Auba ? Seems like he missed what one training session and late for another, would you not be givin a second chance ? I know his form was piss pure, you'd still imagine he'd have scored goals changing at least one loss into a win, and we'd have had top 4

ImTalkingGibberish

I am an Auba fan amd love his energy but Mikel had the right to do it. On top of that, the last thing you want as a new manager is someone undermining your power. Here are a few things I remember: -auba got a tattoo during peak covid -travelled to see his mum against covid rules (fair enough, she was sick) -sick with covid and malaria -ruckus with the gabon NT Fair enough on half of these I mentioned but you don't want to be causing more if you're already pushing a bit for good or bad reasons. So I guess being late was just the trigger. That said, perhaps better timing or better performance would have brushed it all off. He's a brilliant footballer, a big character, I wish him success.

apb0101

Fuck off man

Mein_Bergkamp

No because it wasn't one training session. He also got to the point where he bot only wasn't scoring goals but he actively prevented them, remember? Honestly with how bad he was he'd probably have cost us points not gained them

LW_2k

Wasnt he also late for the NLD?

Mein_Bergkamp

Before that, he was dropped for that NLD because of whatever infringement it was

rk4dand

mikel had an entire dossier of his misdemeanours, he was clearly given second third and fourth chances

mazdamansouri

Did you see it? Did they show it? The dossier?

rk4dand

no but why would he lie about such a thing to edu/the media person? it’s not like we don’t know auba has a history of misdemeanours, he was dropped from the nld xi the season prior for one.

bitmoji

I feel like he should have been fired on form alone

findmymind

Laca 4 goals in 31 apps is alot worse than Aubas 4 goals in 14 And Eddie's 5 goals in 21

the_chiladian

At least laca had link up going for him

Saka_fanboy

Eddie had 5 in 8 starts. But okay

findmymind

your right should have looked at starts vs apps, should have played Eddie more consistently earlier in the season

gonshairlinee

I am 100% convinced that we would’ve made top 4 with Eddie starting much earlier.

basedsims

The season prior he was late to the NLD and was benched/left out the squad. In reality his captaincy should’ve probably been under question as soon as that happened

_DNL

That’s all we know about, there’s likely more incidents.

findmymind

True true, that incident was maybe the last straw Getting 4th without Auba was a pretty impossible task and we only just came up short, having Jesus is massive for us this season

_DNL

Imagine the all or nothing documentary with Raul and Emery, the chaos

apb0101

I really feel that Raul would have been like Danny Devito in IASIP

Quab775

For some reason Europa is easier than pl top 4 imo

Optimal_Cry_1782

That makes logical sense. Top 4 are for Champions league clubs. Everyone we meet in Europa before the semis is usually below that level. Semi and finals are a crapshoot with either a sub top 4 side or a top 4 side having a shitty season.

APL070799

Yeah in recent memory we've gone pretty far in Europa. 17/18- semi finals 18/19-final(Baku PTSD ) 19/20-round 32 20/21- semi final So out of 4 times we've been in Europa we have gone to an semi-final/final 75% of the time

ilikeredlemonade

True, but in a cup anything can happen a referee decision, a penalty, a lucky goal, a red card etc that can change the game

Chi-Town_Gunner

ah correct

a_stopped_clock

Much much easier the only tough matches are semi and final. Winning the fa cup is easier too.

jkeefy

Not a hot take. There’s a reason all of the English teams are always considered heavy favorites for the competition.

randymagnum433

>all of the English teams Leicester & West Ham weren't last year

jkeefy

Wrong, [Leicester and Napoli were joint favorites](https://www.goal.com/en-us/amp/news/who-will-win-europa-league-2021-22-favourites-outsiders-full/1iww7ecnq8d9t15zjwdws8cnke)

Kenny_dies

Man my vacation just started and I’m so excited for the coming week and a half. A good result on Saturday (which I’m unfortunately missing) would make it even better. I’m so hyped for this season!! COYG

GenesisX10

Winning the next 4 games and signing a CM/LW is a must. There is no reason we can't challenge for the title this year. Arteta needs to produce or leave, Conte in 1 season turned Spurs to a solid team. It's Arteta's 4th year, tangible results are needed.

fhghhhhggggg

🤣

Saka_fanboy

Arteta won a trophy in 6 months with a crap squad. Over to you Conte!

Mein_Bergkamp

Mate, we've got a world Cup this year, we should fucking win that too, Conte would.

Superfishintights

I think you should show more ambition as a fan, with higher expectations. Invincibles + EL or fired for me. Kin hell, expectations are now title challengers after GW1. Chill.

crushedonron

We have 3 points and a clean sheet and we're already calling for Arteta to be sacked based on pure hypotheticals. This sub man.

Own_Solution4356

Challenge for the title? Be serious

GenesisX10

I'm very serious. I can accept falling short eventually, but we should be no more than 8-10 points behind LFC/MCFC. Winning the league in 2024 is the goal.

bitmoji

Can't imagine challenging for a title before major regulatory changes in the FA

jnicholl

8-10 off them could be 85+ points, you really think we're going to improve by ~15 points?

GenesisX10

Providing we don't have injuries? We can.

Own_Solution4356

You lot are having a laugh, we aren’t close to City or Liverpool. We’ve played one game, and we have an easy start to the season. Wait until october to see where we really are

jkeefy

Liverpool just drew against Fulham… Just because our next four opponents look like easy fixtures “on paper”, it doesn’t mean it’s dire straits if we fail to win one during the run in. This is the PL, after all.

ProcrastinatedSoul

Some london club has offered Depay 200k a week salary and is negotiating with Barca. Could it be us? My bet is Palace or Chelsea.

cesc05651

Def not an arteta player

LW_2k

The report said they 200k would make them one of the top earners at the club. Chelsea have 3 players around 300k (sterling, koulibaly and kante) with chilwell on 190k. 200k would make Depay palaces top earner. Fabrizio has said adamantly that spurs are not interested 200k would make depay arsenals joint second earner.

ModeratelyTortoise

Probably Chelsea

LifeAfterHarambe

Topspur

oowkwkoowk013

no way they give depay 200k a week

jkeefy

You would know, as a spurs fan

ghostrider467

no and definitely not palace, that would be chelsea

rd201290

nope

perhapsinawayyed

Top 4 + fa cup in 99% of scenarios 5th + europa in the one scenario where we get a crazy points improvement (75+) that isn’t enough for top 4 - league progress + European trophy is obviously v good

randymagnum433

I'd take 7th & Europa over 3rd & an FA Cup. European trophies are enormous, and sorely lacking here.

stephen_kennys_LHCB

Not Arsenal related but I just saw a family out for a walk, the dad was wearing a green t-shirt saying Irish Republic while his son had a Rangers kit on. Wonder what their deal is

Mein_Bergkamp

Confused? Or not actually Irish. Certainly seen Irish Americans go that sort of thing. Know at least one Irish American family of Ulster Scots descent that celebrate their Scottish/Irish heritage, full on 'cousins across the sea' SNP propaganda, think Scotland and Ireland should unite and believe that when they finally get to Ireland that proud ulster Scots heritage will go down a storm with their fellow Irish in Dublin....

stephen_kennys_LHCB

Celtic Union when 🤪 Aye yeah the Ulster Scots go down a treat here haha

Mein_Bergkamp

I tried to explain the whole ulster scorts thing but apparently Scottish people can't be conifers and celtic people all love each other and join up to fight the evil bastard English...
