Its interesting, having a subjugated Japan gave me Code Geass vibes but its tone is much lighter as of right now so it will be interesting to see where it goes. The bardiche breaker part was definitely my favorite part of the episode. Nice to know that I now have something else to look forward to on Mondays.
Goosebump material... The images are from the intro and the world situation was similar to our reality (politics/military with too much power blablablah) with some modern tech capability/possibility.
It's not a gundam series so it won't be on there as much as I wish.
It'll be on the [Bandai Spirits](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuxB1suCoCqAKiljh_0xE4A) youtube channel along with a ton of product videos. I don't see it being subbed since the channel is 100% Japanese.
Funimation and other sites will have the sub within like the hour of release on Japanese TV.
(Edit) Aw, seems like they region lock it?
I could do with more plane anime. Macross is all I have, and not to say it's bad, but I'm not the biggest fan of romance. There are very few shows outside of it that cover aircraft.
You joke, but I am glad to see a new Real Robot series. And would totally be down for a new Dragonar project. D-3's Electronic Warfare specialty is tragically underused.
I really liked it. The bit of comedy concerning the ultimate move was well done, imo. Not too distracting, just funny enough. The artstyle looks sharp as well. I'm liking how colorful most of it seems to be. If I had to pick a "negative", it would be the OST, but that's kinda bullshit on my part because I don't think we heard enough to judge during the first episode.
Everyone is saying it reminds them of Code Geass (rightfully so, the world building seems to be really similar), but I also got Build Fighters/Divers vibes from the MC and the AI, which I loved (I'm more of a light-hearted/fun stories person). Can't wait to see the other characters.
I did too for some odd reason I thought I was not going to like the childish (build fighter/dive) AI looking Digimon but then it had spunk and a full body Dive experience. I my opinion it was very well executed that interconnection between human and machine gave me Alaya-Vijnana System vibes.
Why does the MAL synopsis for this sound exactly like the plot for Code Geass / Guilty Crown / Whatever Geass clone they're airing this year?
Who is this show's version of Tsugumi?
It's not Gundam but god damn 2D mecha is hard to come by these days so I'll take it gladly. And it was pretty fun, like it's a serious setting but it's not as serious in tone so far, nobody died in the beginning for starters.
Didn’t know it started airing. Gonna have to find it after I get off work
What's it called?
Looks like its Kyoukai Senki.
Dub name is AMAIM: Warrior at the Borderline

For the moment Monday’s just became sacred.
Just watched it! It was pretty enjoyable! Definitely felt some code geass vibes
It came out already??? How was it???

Where can it be watched?
it's on youtube on wednesday 4am pst (20:00 jst), it's aired early on Japanese tv and other places.
What youtube channel will it be on? Also, are there gonna be ENG subtitles similar to GundamInfo releases?

Funimation with Subscription.
I'm going to enjoy it so much
interesting start, i like it a lot, hope it keeps up
I hope it keeps the dose because I can’t take any less, mecha addict.
I'm all about Mecha anime.
I’m a mecha addict...be it planes, drones, android or any, as long as it has mecha I will give it a chance more if it has a pilot/cockpit.

Context would be nice, OP. What is this?
Kyoukai Senkai or Amaim Warrior at the Borderline it is Sunrise's new original mecha property
Thank you. Not all of us keep track of the latest airing shows, and I'd like to have a look at this one.
😜 I thought it was not going to be accepted but yeah it’s Kyoukai Senkai or AMAIM. I actually enjoyed it more then I expected.
Oh look , new Dragonar (thats the joke)

I would love Layzner to return one day
Where does one watch it, hopefully with English sub

Some narrow alleys in the corner of the internet...
ohh..... ok... does one know where to get to the shady part of the internet and which alleys to search? im asking for... a friend...
[Enter on your own risk](https://anime-update.com/anime/kyoukai-senki/) , I recommend cybernetic hygiene’s.
thank you...
I mean that mech certainly looks like it could be called a Gundam with just a few changes
This show worth checking out? It’s not Gundam but it looks very Gundam
I saw, I liked and I recommend.

Directed by Soukyuu no Fafner and Break Blade veteran, and production was handled by Sunrise Beyond studio that did re:rise as their debut work.
Thanks for the DD.
That sounds like a good team in general.
it was interesting. worth a watch for a 1st episode

The cast looks like Garrod and Tiffa with Setsuna in the background

And Gigguk said "Mecha Anime is dead". It's just hibernating.
wait what is that? is it new? 'o'
...where's the best place to watch this?
