I honestly have nothing to be dissapointed about, I love this game to death and I'm glad to the past me for installing it, both world 14 and 15 gave me an adrenaline rush like no other, Ascension is amazing because it give rare heroes a chance to shine, I like the guild arcade though maybe I'd add small weekly rewards like gold for the top 3 players, Boss rush is a cool concept and while I'm not very good at it, I stilly enjoy it a lot, same goes for expedition. I love the way the story is heading there's a lot of suspence and tension which I **love**, I heard some people say that they think the developers aren't putting as much effort in it and to those I ask "Are we playing the same game?" On the contrary I feel like the developers are putting more effort in the story, and I really wish that they don't burn themself out, they are **by far** the best developers I have ever known in my life, I adore everything of this game, expecially the community that I found to be really enjoyable to talk to. Guardian Tales isn't perfect by any means, but I feel like the good in this game far surpasses the bads in it. So overall my opinion on Guardian Tales is as positive as can be.
There's very little to improve, but what there is to improve is BIG:
1. Sweeps for Kamazone at least up to the V difficulty. Those who enjoy it can still play conqueror and rogue.
2. Devs, don't forget EXPLORATION!! That was one of the best modes but you decided make it more like a puzzle. Make an auto generating roguelike mode, and don't overuse the troops mechanic. It's cool but I want to fight with my 5 teams. And make it PvP and Co-Op. competing to capture a base against mobs, bosses and each other player. That way you can make use of so many unused assets. The SRPG Overworld with the Manual fights were awesome and I want to see more of it.
3. Take away the RNG from expedition. I spend 3 months for those fuxking prooves and 2 days on the following Area and killed the boss because there was no RNG Shit. Just make the damage and that's it.
4. A filter for Arena. I'm top 100 but I know many smurfs take advantage of low ranks. Make a filter that prevents that
5. Make an equalize option for friendly arena, meaning you'd fight as if everything was fully maxed with perfect stats.
Here’s some personal context before replying to the survey.
Been playing since global launch on the LA world 1 server, have been mostly f2p save for a few guardian passes and a monthly gem package during the first Slayers collab. Only missing summer Lorraine from my hero collection and around 12 entries from my item collection (2 of which are the valentines costumes). Consistently get masters on both arena and colo despite not really investing any effort in either as well as participated in all raids with at least a top 5 guild almost since launch.
2022 Answers:
• I played the game mostly idly during 2022, just logging in to do dailies, get masters arena, claim the daily coffee and sweep whatever I was currently grinding for. I noticed that I didn’t clear the new worlds as soon as they launched like I did for the previous ones, but that instead I sorta just cleared them gradually over a few weeks. Overall I really enjoyed the game but I think I got a bit burnt out of it.
• The only thing I disliked from the direction the game headed in was the drought of event short stories, the seasonal and character related single stage mini stories are fine but nothing beats the 4 chapter and 4 challenge mode short stories and I wish they made more of those for some characters that haven’t really shown up in the game (Noxia, Lapice, Plitvice, Orca, among others). Aside from that all the new changes were overall great imo.
• Here’s my opinions on the added things from last year:
\- Artstyle swapping: Some JP art is nice so this feature is also nice. Wish you could swap them in the hero book though.
\- Arena friendlies: It’s good, don’t really play arena seriously anymore but I participated in a couple tourneys early this year when this got implemented. Makes community tours a real thing tho I wish arena lag was less.
\- Arcade: really fun way to burn some time, high scores are also cool and accessible to all (unlike scarecrow score which requires a solid scarecrow party)
\- World 14: Really good! The whole time repetition thing could’ve been used a bit less tho imo, also the story feels like it’s been going really slowly for these last couple worlds.
\- Expedition: Fun but extremely grindy, feel like they should up the seed packet yield or reduce the price and double the stock in the shop. Especially now that 4\* relics cost 750 purple fragments to make. Either that or let us get 4\* relics from area 2 expeditions.
\- Farm: Don’t really play animal crossing but it’s a fun feature that adds another reason to come back and play the game, also not dependent on team stats so anyone can enjoy it.
\- Team deathmatch: still in beta and thus no rewards. I don’t really care for the gameplay really since it’s random teammates, maybe with the addition of friend lists it’ll become better.
\- Season achievements: some of these required high amounts of whaling (namely the expedition ones). It’s cool to have and doesn’t really give any tangible advantage to p2w players but I feel like it should have some more incentives to complete the missions. Maybe add intermediate rewards in between the big seasonal ones, like a costume token that lets you exchange it for any costume or weapon skin in the shop after getting enough of them (my gems would thank that). Or just give mystic threads.
\- World 15: Loved the music! The story was a bit meh but the characters were super enjoyable, seems like we’ll finally get some meaningful plot progress after this world.
\- Hero ascension: We need more ways to get the ascension resource, boss rush gives very little of it and it’s really expensive. Aside from that I need more, make Aisha the raid crit comp queen she was always meant to be please. Also maybe this will make it so they finally add more rare heroes.
\- Boss rush: It’s fine, super endgame stuff and the rewards are nice. My main issue is the hero reset stone requiring 3 months of max scores to get and the prices in general, at least kamazone let’s you buy everything and makes the rewards monthly but really good.
\- Shop and gamemode rebalancing: Reducing rare weapons to 100 mileage and making kamazone weekly was good. Also making raids last one week was a good decision imo, they were so drawn out and got super boring at one point.
• I was disappointed mainly on the boss rush rewards system and on the expedition progression, while both of these are endgame modes the grind and resources required for them is insane. Almost no new side stories was also disappointing and no new rare or common heroes was also very sad, though that was already a trend during 2021.
• Boss rush, either change the 7 entry limit or make it so the season doesn’t change weekly and make the rewards bigger or something. I just don’t really find it super enjoyable and top scores are really dependent on how many resources you’re willing to invest and on crit hit rng and boss pattern rng. All around un enjoyable.
• Probably alternate EX weapons. They can make previously mid characters become really good, they also make it so you can have an extra two weeks to save gems since there’s no new hero to pull for and add some cool weapon sets like oghma’s rifle+shield combo.
• The devs seem to be kicking it out of the park really. Despite how rough 2022 was, with Kong offices getting flooded and everything they still managed to make the most out of the year. My main worry is that the story seems to be advancing at a snail’s pace and I’m afraid we won’t reach an ending if they keep releasing 2 worlds a year (granted the production budget for the season 2 worlds increased exponentially).

2023:
• I just want them to keep working like they are now, keep communicating with the playerbase about their plans for the future and maybe buff some of the weaker heroes like Bari or Plitvice.
• Co-op story mode with friends would be really cool now that there’s a friends list. Alternatively a helper character feature where you can add a friend’s character that they’ve set as a helper as a party member.
• Give me more arcade games, ascensions and ascension materials.
• Here’s a list of changes I’d love:
\- Awakening dungeon: either up the daily runs or the rewards, there’s too many characters in the game.
\- Co-op: Let you set join restrictions to your lobby, like a ranged or melee only restriction or an element restriction. Also let you kick people from lobbies.
\- Kamazone: please make it so that seasonal benefits stay unlocked when that season rolls around again. Unlocking the wooden golems benefit in plant season once is fun but every time because it’s p much required for good runs gets dull and repetitive.
\- Boss Rush: change currency rewards, shop prices or season intervals.
\- Heavenhold: Now that SP can be used for fishing give us more ways to make SP please, maybe add more building levels or a whole new section of heavenhold.
\- Collection book: let us swap art styles in the hero art viewer.
\- Raid: let us see the equipment other guild members used on their party for their attacks.
\- Summons: Add a friend summon or something, like most other gachas, which only gives 1 and 2 star characters and serves as a way to get some extra hero crystals.
\- Shop: Add the new unique accessories (the scouter and earth necklace replacements) to the equipment gold shop please, they’re borderline required for good scores in a lot of modes.
\- Expedition and farm: either change mystic resistance requirements on district 2, have 4\* relics drop from expedition runs, make the store prices cheaper or just give us another way of getting the relic ascension materials that isn’t either super expensive or rng from the one level. Also have it so the option transfer stones can also lock options for 4\* relics.
\- Guardian base camp: give us a use for the tickets, make them at least be usable for gold or something.
\- Mirror rift: they’re pretty much a useless gamemode rn, either increase drop rates from them or make it so you can infinitely exchange mirror shards for gold or hammers in the shop or something. Or make a mirror option change stone that lets you select which options you want your accessory to have.
• It’s headed in the same direction as 2022, imo this is the best gacha game on the market atm both in terms of content and playability.
• Please stop progressing expedition so quickly. Either fix the current problems and grindiness or make it so the last district (which this has to be since they’ll be adding epic relics) makes all the previous grind meaningless (which would also be a huge punch in the face for anyone that spent all their coffee to get the 4\* relics)

No. Boss rush is ok. You'd only use it for Reset stones and ascension material anyway since everything else is obtainable in other ways.
It's perfect like it is. Don't make it another annoting farm.
We can agree to disagree I guess. My main gripe with it is that all the materials offered in boss rush, except for the ascension stones (ironically enough), equipment and dream evo stones, (which are great for finishing common hero collection bonuses) are pretty much required for progression and also are a progression wall for players since the resources are so limited.
Legendary awakening stones? No one will ever have enough of them. Princess edicts? Leveling up merch requires so many of these, plus you need 4 SSB and 4 ships (not to mention 4 Oghma figures, 4 Princess figures, at least one Lorraine pillow and maybe some vending machines if you want to play colosseum or arena for the top ranks). Nobody will get the reset stones because it takes 3 months of saving with max scores on every season to get one (despite them resetting monthly for some reason?), except that you can’t save because just buying the necessary stuff from the shop takes all your medals and no one will choose to not buy the stuff I mentioned above.
Kamazone let’s you empty the shop if you consistently get to floor 8 at difficulty 4 or 5 per season, I don’t see why boss rush should be any different. Either lower the point threshold for the max rewards, increase the rewards or lower the prices.
That's the thing. Precisely because reset stone takes 3-4 months, You don't buy anything else. Only the reset stone matters and the 1 time purchases. The escenece is only if you really want to ascend a hero.
Look, edicts? We get 1 entry every day. That's more than enough. Unless you wanna be a tryhard and the ultimate caviat is if you wanna have fun, F2p, wanna hit the top? Then whale or wait. No one needs 4 of those even in a top 100 guild. I myself I'm happily in a top 20 guild and only have 2 of those and still Not the bottom guildmate, always within the top ten hitters.
Sharp shooter/Googles mlb? Not needed at all. You only need the % options and that's unaffected by level. Only more defense is what you get. And there's the good Ol item and gold dungeon anyway.
Kamazone, it's way easier. Difficulty 1 is more than enough to get everything and have some left overs.
I have to wonder what server you’re on considering that I’m on LA1 (which is pretty far off in terms of whaling from NA or KR) and you absolutely want at least 4 ships or 4 statues to stay in top 5 raids (not sure about top 10 since I haven’t been there in years).
The fact that the reset stone takes 3-4 months to get is what makes it the most worthless item from the medals shop. Why buy that when you can instead spend 3-4 months worth of currency to get 36-48 legendary awakening stones (which, btw, is way less than you’d earn from kamazone the “easier mode with worse rewards”), 60-75 edicts (which would actually be 120-150 in terms of rewards because of x2 events, making for 240-300 blueprints which would be enough to 5* an entire merch item and prolly max level it too), even just getting the first step ascension stones it’d be 240-320 to max ascend a hero, not to mention the free 60-80 evolutions for 1* heroes (which is a 1.5-1.8 stat collection bonus).
Besides, reset stones shouldn’t really have a use aside from resetting the free collab characters for f2p. F2p can absolutely compete against p2w if they focus on optimizing their resources, meaning they shouldn’t have any characters that they spent so much upgrading only to reset them later. Plus, with the chance of a bad character getting a secondary ex weapon or a big buff that makes them good (like Rue, Yuze, Vishuvac or Parvati) it’s not really worth it to reset a character. The people who most benefit from the reset stone are, in fact, whales who can afford to skip all the other resources due to being able to buy them through other means and who can also afford to farm evo dungeon with the objective to reset a MLB character and upgrade them to full right after so that they can earn 600+ HC from thin air instead of exchanging those 1240 evo stones for like 12 HC from storage.
The people who’d benefit the most from the full reward score or prices being reduced would be f2p players. Imho they should make it so whales can compete for the top scores, maybe give them gems or something ala raids, and make it so everyone can earn enough medals to buy the useful stuff from the shop and maybe eventually be able to afford the reset stone as well. That or make the shop use bottle caps instead so there’s something better to do with them aside from getting like 500k gold from buying hammers.
Edit: Also just noticed, you do know that the whole reason you want to use the goggles and sharp shooter accessories is because of the 15% crit hit chance option which is locked behind MLB (it’s only 5% before that).
Raid. Equipmentnis literally the source of money of this game. If people want to have fun, no need to aim to top ranks. If people want to be top, then whale. I'm already worried about this game's finsnces. Is not even in the top 20 of ravenue.

They’re one time purchases, you can’t get a full LMB accessory from that at all (or the required 3 for raid, expedition or boss rush). I’d be fine if they made the purchase weekly or monthly for them.
Expedition: agree mostly. I don't think it's needed to reduce it, but the rng is terrible and that hinders too much the progress despite having the stats already.
And yes, absolutely we need the lock option
Gusrdian base. I'd like that maybe at world 20 or something, the level cap is no longer tied to story but unlocking a new experience option based on logging and spending coffee and participating in multiplayer. And that becomes the new way to reach level cap.
Devs literally know that tryhards are going to enslave themselves trying to get every crit. That's why there's a limit for tries. I'd they made it excelentely. Boss rush is what raids should be. Only once a week, and only the top score.
Story is going at a good pace. Think about casual beginners. It's already really hsrd for them to get to master rank bevause they have to clear all 14 worlds before they can even reach the cap. And anyway, too much story eventually becomes annoying for a newbie who wants to rry PvP and the important stuff.
In fact, I think there are 2 thingd that will happen eventually:
1. A modification of the level cap system.
2. Raplacing the first levels for a summary beginner level. Imagine world 1 but level 2 is already teatan, level 3 is the school and so on until world 8. All in just 1 world.however, thid might be avoided if they modify the level cap to stop at some point of story.
I wasn’t really talking about how often new worlds come out but about the actual pacing of the plot. We’ve spent 4 “worlds” in demon world and barely made any progress in the actual quest for the champion’s sword, instead we accomplished like… 1 fetch quest per world (which also have way more levels than season 1 worlds as well)
I really hope that the plot speeds up again after we get back on heavenhold but if the next world is also 4 worlds I really don’t think we’ll reach an ending to the story before the inevitable end of service of a live service mobile gacha game.
Overall, the past year has been good to varying degrees with different features and modes that are out
\- **New game modes / Features**
* **Season Achievements** \- Personally, my biggest issue with the game right now would be Season Achievements. I got burnt out spending hours trying to complete each one and I just took a break from the game before getting anything else after the first reward. It would be nice if there's another way to get the hero/weapon skins
* **Expedition** \- I would've liked more if we could have our best run permanently used for sweep. Other than that, I found relics are fine and grinding for them was ok
* **Farm** \- I like it but I mainly use it for harvesting endowments. I don't really fish but I would be more inclined to try it if they added more stuff to it or have more buildings to try out. Also, I really don't like how you have to spend diamonds to purchase blueprints. Maybe have some require soul points or gold? Also maybe introduce new buildings that can give resources would be good incentive.
* **Team Death Match** \- I was worried how good my connection will be but, surprisingly, it was fine. Overall, a nice pvp mode and I really like how you don't have to climb ranks for it. Though, it doesn't feel that fun if someone disconnects and it turns into a pubstomp.
* **Boss Rush** \- Overall, I like it. Not able to get all the rewards which is a bummer but I like how you only have to do it once per week. My only nitpick is it introduces another kind of currency
**- Stories**
Personally, I'd be okay if main story is delayed if we can have more lore to the characters that we have through short or side stories
We have so many characters that can have extended lore or stories
* Vishuvac looking for Girgas (we had one with Neva but Vishuvac is also looking for him)
* Elvira and Arabelle's rivalry
* Lapice and her noble family
* Plitvice and did she ever interact with Kamael, Eleanor or other gods/goddess? What about more lore about Prometheia?
**- Kamazone**
Sweep function for Kamazone would be nice. I remember playing when we had to wait for tickets to replenish to play but I think sweep function would be even better
\- A different solution though could be: Instead of introduction to boss rush points (or future new currencies), new game modes can just reward bottle caps and shop items will use bottlecaps (minus the ones we have to purchase with IRL money, gold, or diamonds)
* As a player, you're not punished for skipping Kamazone because you can just play another game mode you prefer more
* You can earn more currencies if you're willing to grind and spend time on the game
* It keeps the shop simple without having new currencies introduced
Feel free to disagree with me on this one but I would like to know if there would be any downsides to this.
\- **New things I would like to see**
A new game mode where we can try underutilized heroes / equipment
It would be really cool to have a roguelike experience with all the heroes paired with different non-unique or legendary equipment. It makes use of equipment that we rarely use and it gets us a chance to try out rare and normal heroes more (Imagine playing with Bob with a HP recovery build because he has a Blood Sword equipped).
**- Other**
* Personally, I'm ok with rate of coffee we get but I would like to have more capacity to make sure none gets wasted when I play again
* Better emulator support
* A very niche problem but it would be nice to have better support for the Switch Pro controller for the Mobile Version (afaik the controller support is there with xbox controller in mind)
* A long time ago, there was a proposal asking if we would like to see an "offline" version of this game. I'd be very interested playing this version of the game once all the stories has been released as we reach end of service (**which I really hope is still far in the future!!!**)

Kamazone is just missing sweeps. It's already covered in the fun aspect with the leaderboards and events for those who like it, challenging if you go C1 or C2.
So just sweeps for the I-V difficulty will solve everything.

Honestly though, it feels really bad to have to choose who to lose to. Knowing there is NO way you can possibly win a match just doesnt feel good.
The reason you are encountering such enemies is because gold 1 is the lowest tier somebody can drop. So if I reach say diamond 1, each week my rank will lower. People who don't like arena usually play short bursts of time to reach one level above or two and then linger. So you might be finding those who either:
* Play once to grab some easy gems after a week (you need to play once to get arena gems)
* Play a few times to go one rank above and squeeze a few more gems in rewards.
~~Arena doesn't have daily rewards, that's maybe team death match beta, which gives 2 medals for each match. Or maybe you mean colo, getting 20 gem per day~~. Oh yeah, that's what you meant, sorry, had misunderstood that.
Great but could be better if they:
- Add more co-op content (a survival mode could be cool where enemies spawn endlessly and rewards are based on how long your team survived, a mode like this could make healers and tanks more useful in co-op where you want a balanced team of tanker, healer, and 2 DPS).
- Finish making EX weapons for characters who don't have any before making more 2nd EX weapons for characters.
- Make a 2nd EX weapon for some of the less useful characters (ex, Alef) as a way to make the character appropriately viable (doesn't have to be meta, but should be at least useful).
- Add more loot to the item shop (like alternative jewelry to the mirror and minotaur accessories)
It'd be awesome a survival mode. I also like the idea of having your tanks and healers defending a few spots and paying attention to where are the monsters comming and string traps to prvent them from capturing our bases.
We have cooperarive and we have PvP. Now We need Vs. PVE.
Example: Hunt. 4 players compete against each other. But not by beating the other, but by killing mobs and bosses. Make some mechanics like boxes, levers or buttons and the first one to activates can decide the element, type and other charactwrisitcs of the next wave to have some advantage.
My only but really really big complain would be expedition progression and the drop rate of the 9 sigils. IT'S NOT A GOOD THING TO Luck/Drop Lock content behind It. I'm aware that you can spend Golden petals but i'm still locked from getting to the new zone (and I already max damaged all the previous One; I have a more than decent 3 Star artifact Collection for every Major Mode so I really don't want to sink more coffee in that But I HAVE TO to find those sigils.)
TDM/boss rush/season achievement/expedition just kill my interest in this game, sadly i got hooked on this game because of the story and the world, slow release of the world also contributing factor.

I know this is a controversial topic but difficulty is my main issue. I'm happy with every bit of content in the game, especially the story. But I wish there was a way to experience the story (specifically the early worlds) the way I experienced it a few years ago. I remember fighting the sandmonster years ago, fighting the sandmonster was hard, she was tanky at the time and her skills like the sandstorm swirling around you was a challenge to evade and was punishing if you didn't. I had so much trouble with the bosses back then but looking back it was really fun. When I replayed the story a few months ago on a fresh account, I stormed through the story, defeating bosses in seconds not even giving them enough time to use their skills (until world 10 tho). I wish for the story to be more difficult or rather the choice for it to be more difficult like a slider or something. Not everyone can do a no hit run of >! Beth's three stages !< so making difficulty a choice would be able to satisfy the majority of the community. I'd definitely replay the story again if the combat was more difficult.
put the season 1 rewards in the future as a reward for some other event. missions were impossible to do and complete for 99% of players. both the skin of the princess and the weapon as well as the portrait and medal
As a long time gacha game player I really don't have much to complain about GT. It quickly became my all time favorite mobile game and I love it to bits. However, I do have some minor gripes so here are mine:
If I were to tweak anything it would be the coffee system, maybe increase max cap to at least 100 and decrease the time it takes to replenish it.
I understand that new worlds take time and the devs focus on quality over quantity but I'd like a new side story every once in a while (iirc the last one was Afterworld Inc, a year or so ago). Also the replay function should be made permanent for all cleared content (I just wanna replay Folktale and Afterworld dammit!).
Finally, like someone already mentioned those damned coins in Expedition mode should be removed, they're the bain of my existence
JP art => Good breather, most global arts are more detailed however
Friendly Arena => Probably one of the best things we got
Guild Arcade => Very meh, but a nice bonus
W14 => Very enjoyable world
Expedition => Probably one of the worst things we got, because relics RNG is really dumb, again, takes forever to grind as well.
The Farm => Fishing was the best part about the whole thing
TDM => A nice breather but still has some issues.
Season Achievements => Probably only barely less bad than Expedition, it's not fun to do and it takes forever to do
W15 => Very enjoyable world no.2
Hero Ascension => Very warm welcome to give the rare heroes love
Boss Rush => Kinda super chill raid that gives extra material, nothing to not like abt it.
All the extra QoL => They have been very neat, ranging from now you can see weapons coop teammates hold, to hiding completed collections, upgrading till lv60, or sliding hero exp bar, these were all pretty great, small, but very nice.
Overall, a 11/13, which is pretty good for 2022.
They need to allocate some resources from making new heroes to making new stories, while W14 and W15 were great, that's over one year, I don't expect a new story chapter every month, but over the course of one season, one story chapter SHOULD reasonably come out, aka, on average of 3 month for a new World and not half a year.
Also more side story content and such would be nice.
The game is most interesting from its story, and I would really like to know more about the various "nobodies" (This is indeed a personal attack on Lapice) and where they come in.
Well i don't know about the game so much bc i'm just starting. A friend was playing a lot last year and i hear only praise about it!. I'm only afraid i can't finish story being mainly f2p, that's what i only care about at the moment, story.
I'm currently at world 3 and i'm having a BLAST with all the hidden references and jokes, i pulled FP and Catherine's EX weapon with my first summons. There's a lot to learn but i'm enjoying it greatly, here's hoping the game is as good as people claims and in 2023 improves even more :)
F2P here, you can finish the story don't worry. There are some bosses though where you will need to learn more about the mechanics, party composition, etc. before you can beat them. Have fun

On the contrary I feel like the developers are putting more effort in the story, and I really wish that they don't burn themself out, they are **by far** the best developers I have ever known in my life, I adore everything of this game, expecially the community that I found to be really enjoyable to talk to. Guardian Tales isn't perfect by any means, but I feel like the good in this game far surpasses the bads in it. So overall my opinion on Guardian Tales is as positive as can be.
There's very little to improve, but what there is to improve is BIG: 1. Sweeps for Kamazone at least up to the V difficulty. Those who enjoy it can still play conqueror and rogue. 2. Devs, don't forget EXPLORATION!! That was one of the best modes but you decided make it more like a puzzle. Make an auto generating roguelike mode, and don't overuse the troops mechanic. It's cool but I want to fight with my 5 teams. And make it PvP and Co-Op. competing to capture a base against mobs, bosses and each other player. That way you can make use of so many unused assets. The SRPG Overworld with the Manual fights were awesome and I want to see more of it. 3. Take away the RNG from expedition. I spend 3 months for those fuxking prooves and 2 days on the following Area and killed the boss because there was no RNG Shit. Just make the damage and that's it. 4. A filter for Arena. I'm top 100 but I know many smurfs take advantage of low ranks. Make a filter that prevents that 5. Make an equalize option for friendly arena, meaning you'd fight as if everything was fully maxed with perfect stats.
Here’s some personal context before replying to the survey. Been playing since global launch on the LA world 1 server, have been mostly f2p save for a few guardian passes and a monthly gem package during the first Slayers collab. Only missing summer Lorraine from my hero collection and around 12 entries from my item collection (2 of which are the valentines costumes). Consistently get masters on both arena and colo despite not really investing any effort in either as well as participated in all raids with at least a top 5 guild almost since launch. 2022 Answers: • I played the game mostly idly during 2022, just logging in to do dailies, get masters arena, claim the daily coffee and sweep whatever I was currently grinding for. I noticed that I didn’t clear the new worlds as soon as they launched like I did for the previous ones, but that instead I sorta just cleared them gradually over a few weeks. Overall I really enjoyed the game but I think I got a bit burnt out of it. • The only thing I disliked from the direction the game headed in was the drought of event short stories, the seasonal and character related single stage mini stories are fine but nothing beats the 4 chapter and 4 challenge mode short stories and I wish they made more of those for some characters that haven’t really shown up in the game (Noxia, Lapice, Plitvice, Orca, among others). Aside from that all the new changes were overall great imo. • Here’s my opinions on the added things from last year: \- Artstyle swapping: Some JP art is nice so this feature is also nice. Wish you could swap them in the hero book though. \- Arena friendlies: It’s good, don’t really play arena seriously anymore but I participated in a couple tourneys early this year when this got implemented. Makes community tours a real thing tho I wish arena lag was less. \- Arcade: really fun way to burn some time, high scores are also cool and accessible to all (unlike scarecrow score which requires a solid scarecrow party) \- World 14: Really good! The whole time repetition thing could’ve been used a bit less tho imo, also the story feels like it’s been going really slowly for these last couple worlds. \- Expedition: Fun but extremely grindy, feel like they should up the seed packet yield or reduce the price and double the stock in the shop. Especially now that 4\* relics cost 750 purple fragments to make. Either that or let us get 4\* relics from area 2 expeditions. \- Farm: Don’t really play animal crossing but it’s a fun feature that adds another reason to come back and play the game, also not dependent on team stats so anyone can enjoy it. \- Team deathmatch: still in beta and thus no rewards. I don’t really care for the gameplay really since it’s random teammates, maybe with the addition of friend lists it’ll become better. \- Season achievements: some of these required high amounts of whaling (namely the expedition ones). It’s cool to have and doesn’t really give any tangible advantage to p2w players but I feel like it should have some more incentives to complete the missions. Maybe add intermediate rewards in between the big seasonal ones, like a costume token that lets you exchange it for any costume or weapon skin in the shop after getting enough of them (my gems would thank that). Or just give mystic threads. \- World 15: Loved the music! The story was a bit meh but the characters were super enjoyable, seems like we’ll finally get some meaningful plot progress after this world. \- Hero ascension: We need more ways to get the ascension resource, boss rush gives very little of it and it’s really expensive. Aside from that I need more, make Aisha the raid crit comp queen she was always meant to be please. Also maybe this will make it so they finally add more rare heroes. \- Boss rush: It’s fine, super endgame stuff and the rewards are nice. My main issue is the hero reset stone requiring 3 months of max scores to get and the prices in general, at least kamazone let’s you buy everything and makes the rewards monthly but really good. \- Shop and gamemode rebalancing: Reducing rare weapons to 100 mileage and making kamazone weekly was good. Also making raids last one week was a good decision imo, they were so drawn out and got super boring at one point. • I was disappointed mainly on the boss rush rewards system and on the expedition progression, while both of these are endgame modes the grind and resources required for them is insane. Almost no new side stories was also disappointing and no new rare or common heroes was also very sad, though that was already a trend during 2021. • Boss rush, either change the 7 entry limit or make it so the season doesn’t change weekly and make the rewards bigger or something. I just don’t really find it super enjoyable and top scores are really dependent on how many resources you’re willing to invest and on crit hit rng and boss pattern rng. All around un enjoyable. • Probably alternate EX weapons. They can make previously mid characters become really good, they also make it so you can have an extra two weeks to save gems since there’s no new hero to pull for and add some cool weapon sets like oghma’s rifle+shield combo. • The devs seem to be kicking it out of the park really. Despite how rough 2022 was, with Kong offices getting flooded and everything they still managed to make the most out of the year. My main worry is that the story seems to be advancing at a snail’s pace and I’m afraid we won’t reach an ending if they keep releasing 2 worlds a year (granted the production budget for the season 2 worlds increased exponentially). 2023: • I just want them to keep working like they are now, keep communicating with the playerbase about their plans for the future and maybe buff some of the weaker heroes like Bari or Plitvice. • Co-op story mode with friends would be really cool now that there’s a friends list. Alternatively a helper character feature where you can add a friend’s character that they’ve set as a helper as a party member. • Give me more arcade games, ascensions and ascension materials. • Here’s a list of changes I’d love: \- Awakening dungeon: either up the daily runs or the rewards, there’s too many characters in the game. \- Co-op: Let you set join restrictions to your lobby, like a ranged or melee only restriction or an element restriction. Also let you kick people from lobbies. \- Kamazone: please make it so that seasonal benefits stay unlocked when that season rolls around again. Unlocking the wooden golems benefit in plant season once is fun but every time because it’s p much required for good runs gets dull and repetitive. \- Boss Rush: change currency rewards, shop prices or season intervals. \- Heavenhold: Now that SP can be used for fishing give us more ways to make SP please, maybe add more building levels or a whole new section of heavenhold. \- Collection book: let us swap art styles in the hero art viewer. \- Raid: let us see the equipment other guild members used on their party for their attacks. \- Summons: Add a friend summon or something, like most other gachas, which only gives 1 and 2 star characters and serves as a way to get some extra hero crystals. \- Shop: Add the new unique accessories (the scouter and earth necklace replacements) to the equipment gold shop please, they’re borderline required for good scores in a lot of modes. \- Expedition and farm: either change mystic resistance requirements on district 2, have 4\* relics drop from expedition runs, make the store prices cheaper or just give us another way of getting the relic ascension materials that isn’t either super expensive or rng from the one level. Also have it so the option transfer stones can also lock options for 4\* relics. \- Guardian base camp: give us a use for the tickets, make them at least be usable for gold or something. \- Mirror rift: they’re pretty much a useless gamemode rn, either increase drop rates from them or make it so you can infinitely exchange mirror shards for gold or hammers in the shop or something. Or make a mirror option change stone that lets you select which options you want your accessory to have. • It’s headed in the same direction as 2022, imo this is the best gacha game on the market atm both in terms of content and playability. • Please stop progressing expedition so quickly. Either fix the current problems and grindiness or make it so the last district (which this has to be since they’ll be adding epic relics) makes all the previous grind meaningless (which would also be a huge punch in the face for anyone that spent all their coffee to get the 4\* relics) That’s it from me. No. Boss rush is ok. You'd only use it for Reset stones and ascension material anyway since everything else is obtainable in other ways. It's perfect like it is. Don't make it another annoting farm.
We can agree to disagree I guess. My main gripe with it is that all the materials offered in boss rush, except for the ascension stones (ironically enough), equipment and dream evo stones, (which are great for finishing common hero collection bonuses) are pretty much required for progression and also are a progression wall for players since the resources are so limited. Legendary awakening stones? No one will ever have enough of them. Princess edicts? Leveling up merch requires so many of these, plus you need 4 SSB and 4 ships (not to mention 4 Oghma figures, 4 Princess figures, at least one Lorraine pillow and maybe some vending machines if you want to play colosseum or arena for the top ranks). Nobody will get the reset stones because it takes 3 months of saving with max scores on every season to get one (despite them resetting monthly for some reason?), except that you can’t save because just buying the necessary stuff from the shop takes all your medals and no one will choose to not buy the stuff I mentioned above. Kamazone let’s you empty the shop if you consistently get to floor 8 at difficulty 4 or 5 per season, I don’t see why boss rush should be any different. Either lower the point threshold for the max rewards, increase the rewards or lower the prices.
That's the thing. Precisely because reset stone takes 3-4 months, You don't buy anything else. Only the reset stone matters and the 1 time purchases. The escenece is only if you really want to ascend a hero. Look, edicts? We get 1 entry every day. That's more than enough. Unless you wanna be a tryhard and the ultimate caviat is if you wanna have fun, F2p, wanna hit the top? Then whale or wait. No one needs 4 of those even in a top 100 guild. I myself I'm happily in a top 20 guild and only have 2 of those and still Not the bottom guildmate, always within the top ten hitters. Sharp shooter/Googles mlb? Not needed at all. You only need the % options and that's unaffected by level. Only more defense is what you get. And there's the good Ol item and gold dungeon anyway. Kamazone, it's way easier. Difficulty 1 is more than enough to get everything and have some left overs.
I have to wonder what server you’re on considering that I’m on LA1 (which is pretty far off in terms of whaling from NA or KR) and you absolutely want at least 4 ships or 4 statues to stay in top 5 raids (not sure about top 10 since I haven’t been there in years). The fact that the reset stone takes 3-4 months to get is what makes it the most worthless item from the medals shop. Why buy that when you can instead spend 3-4 months worth of currency to get 36-48 legendary awakening stones (which, btw, is way less than you’d earn from kamazone the “easier mode with worse rewards”), 60-75 edicts (which would actually be 120-150 in terms of rewards because of x2 events, making for 240-300 blueprints which would be enough to 5* an entire merch item and prolly max level it too), even just getting the first step ascension stones it’d be 240-320 to max ascend a hero, not to mention the free 60-80 evolutions for 1* heroes (which is a 1.5-1.8 stat collection bonus). Besides, reset stones shouldn’t really have a use aside from resetting the free collab characters for f2p. F2p can absolutely compete against p2w if they focus on optimizing their resources, meaning they shouldn’t have any characters that they spent so much upgrading only to reset them later. Plus, with the chance of a bad character getting a secondary ex weapon or a big buff that makes them good (like Rue, Yuze, Vishuvac or Parvati) it’s not really worth it to reset a character. The people who most benefit from the reset stone are, in fact, whales who can afford to skip all the other resources due to being able to buy them through other means and who can also afford to farm evo dungeon with the objective to reset a MLB character and upgrade them to full right after so that they can earn 600+ HC from thin air instead of exchanging those 1240 evo stones for like 12 HC from storage. The people who’d benefit the most from the full reward score or prices being reduced would be f2p players. Imho they should make it so whales can compete for the top scores, maybe give them gems or something ala raids, and make it so everyone can earn enough medals to buy the useful stuff from the shop and maybe eventually be able to afford the reset stone as well. That or make the shop use bottle caps instead so there’s something better to do with them aside from getting like 500k gold from buying hammers. Edit: Also just noticed, you do know that the whole reason you want to use the goggles and sharp shooter accessories is because of the 15% crit hit chance option which is locked behind MLB (it’s only 5% before that).
Raid. Equipmentnis literally the source of money of this game. If people want to have fun, no need to aim to top ranks. If people want to be top, then whale. I'm already worried about this game's finsnces. Is not even in the top 20 of ravenue.

They’re one time purchases, you can’t get a full LMB accessory from that at all (or the required 3 for raid, expedition or boss rush). I’d be fine if they made the purchase weekly or monthly for them.
Expedition: agree mostly. I don't think it's needed to reduce it, but the rng is terrible and that hinders too much the progress despite having the stats already. And yes, absolutely we need the lock option
Gusrdian base. I'd like that maybe at world 20 or something, the level cap is no longer tied to story but unlocking a new experience option based on logging and spending coffee and participating in multiplayer. And that becomes the new way to reach level cap.
Devs literally know that tryhards are going to enslave themselves trying to get every crit. That's why there's a limit for tries. I'd they made it excelentely. Boss rush is what raids should be. Only once a week, and only the top score.
Story is going at a good pace. Think about casual beginners. It's already really hsrd for them to get to master rank bevause they have to clear all 14 worlds before they can even reach the cap. And anyway, too much story eventually becomes annoying for a newbie who wants to rry PvP and the important stuff. In fact, I think there are 2 thingd that will happen eventually: 1. A modification of the level cap system. 2. Raplacing the first levels for a summary beginner level. Imagine world 1 but level 2 is already teatan, level 3 is the school and so on until world 8. All in just 1 world.however, thid might be avoided if they modify the level cap to stop at some point of story.
I wasn’t really talking about how often new worlds come out but about the actual pacing of the plot. We’ve spent 4 “worlds” in demon world and barely made any progress in the actual quest for the champion’s sword, instead we accomplished like… 1 fetch quest per world (which also have way more levels than season 1 worlds as well) I really hope that the plot speeds up again after we get back on heavenhold but if the next world is also 4 worlds I really don’t think we’ll reach an ending to the story before the inevitable end of service of a live service mobile gacha game.
Overall, the past year has been good to varying degrees with different features and modes that are out \- **New game modes / Features** * **Season Achievements** \- Personally, my biggest issue with the game right now would be Season Achievements. I got burnt out spending hours trying to complete each one and I just took a break from the game before getting anything else after the first reward. It would be nice if there's another way to get the hero/weapon skins * **Expedition** \- I would've liked more if we could have our best run permanently used for sweep. Other than that, I found relics are fine and grinding for them was ok * **Farm** \- I like it but I mainly use it for harvesting endowments. I don't really fish but I would be more inclined to try it if they added more stuff to it or have more buildings to try out. Also, I really don't like how you have to spend diamonds to purchase blueprints. Maybe have some require soul points or gold? Also maybe introduce new buildings that can give resources would be good incentive. * **Team Death Match** \- I was worried how good my connection will be but, surprisingly, it was fine. Overall, a nice pvp mode and I really like how you don't have to climb ranks for it. Though, it doesn't feel that fun if someone disconnects and it turns into a pubstomp. * **Boss Rush** \- Overall, I like it. Not able to get all the rewards which is a bummer but I like how you only have to do it once per week. My only nitpick is it introduces another kind of currency **- Stories** Personally, I'd be okay if main story is delayed if we can have more lore to the characters that we have through short or side stories We have so many characters that can have extended lore or stories * Vishuvac looking for Girgas (we had one with Neva but Vishuvac is also looking for him) * Elvira and Arabelle's rivalry * Lapice and her noble family * Plitvice and did she ever interact with Kamael, Eleanor or other gods/goddess? What about more lore about Prometheia? **- Kamazone** Sweep function for Kamazone would be nice. I remember playing when we had to wait for tickets to replenish to play but I think sweep function would be even better \- A different solution though could be: Instead of introduction to boss rush points (or future new currencies), new game modes can just reward bottle caps and shop items will use bottlecaps (minus the ones we have to purchase with IRL money, gold, or diamonds) * As a player, you're not punished for skipping Kamazone because you can just play another game mode you prefer more * You can earn more currencies if you're willing to grind and spend time on the game * It keeps the shop simple without having new currencies introduced Feel free to disagree with me on this one but I would like to know if there would be any downsides to this. \- **New things I would like to see** A new game mode where we can try underutilized heroes / equipment It would be really cool to have a roguelike experience with all the heroes paired with different non-unique or legendary equipment. It makes use of equipment that we rarely use and it gets us a chance to try out rare and normal heroes more (Imagine playing with Bob with a HP recovery build because he has a Blood Sword equipped). **- Other** * Personally, I'm ok with rate of coffee we get but I would like to have more capacity to make sure none gets wasted when I play again * Better emulator support * A very niche problem but it would be nice to have better support for the Switch Pro controller for the Mobile Version (afaik the controller support is there with xbox controller in mind) * A long time ago, there was a proposal asking if we would like to see an "offline" version of this game. I'd be very interested playing this version of the game once all the stories has been released as we reach end of service (**which I really hope is still far in the future!!!**) **TLDR**: Personally, I liked this game more when I was playing more casually. I used to whale on this game because it's my all-time favorite gacha game. But I mainly got burnt out playing it trying for Season Achievements. At the very least, it would be nice if there's another way to get the hero/weapon skins

Kamazone is just missing sweeps. It's already covered in the fun aspect with the leaderboards and events for those who like it, challenging if you go C1 or C2. So just sweeps for the I-V difficulty will solve everything.
Minigames would be a cool offline option for the game. That way it wouldn't affect the gachs logistics and we'd still have a lot of fun.

woot woot. Gold 1 rn. Honestly though, it feels really bad to have to choose who to lose to. Knowing there is NO way you can possibly win a match just doesnt feel good.
The reason you are encountering such enemies is because gold 1 is the lowest tier somebody can drop. So if I reach say diamond 1, each week my rank will lower. People who don't like arena usually play short bursts of time to reach one level above or two and then linger. So you might be finding those who either: * Play once to grab some easy gems after a week (you need to play once to get arena gems) * Play a few times to go one rank above and squeeze a few more gems in rewards.

Great but could be better if they: - Add more co-op content (a survival mode could be cool where enemies spawn endlessly and rewards are based on how long your team survived, a mode like this could make healers and tanks more useful in co-op where you want a balanced team of tanker, healer, and 2 DPS). - Finish making EX weapons for characters who don't have any before making more 2nd EX weapons for characters. - Make a 2nd EX weapon for some of the less useful characters (ex, Alef) as a way to make the character appropriately viable (doesn't have to be meta, but should be at least useful). - Add more loot to the item shop (like alternative jewelry to the mirror and minotaur accessories)

It'd be awesome a survival mode. I also like the idea of having your tanks and healers defending a few spots and paying attention to where are the monsters comming and string traps to prvent them from capturing our bases. We have cooperarive and we have PvP. Now We need Vs. PVE. Example: Hunt. 4 players compete against each other. But not by beating the other, but by killing mobs and bosses. Make some mechanics like boxes, levers or buttons and the first one to activates can decide the element, type and other charactwrisitcs of the next wave to have some advantage.
So something like Lana races but with PvE added in and make it competitive?
Race would be alright but I mean something with more action.
I know for a fact, I speak for everyone alive that 2023 better be the year Kong deliver Lana. Every day I feel constant pain knowing I can't main her.
My only but really really big complain would be expedition progression and the drop rate of the 9 sigils. IT'S NOT A GOOD THING TO Luck/Drop Lock content behind It. I'm aware that you can spend Golden petals but i'm still locked from getting to the new zone (and I already max damaged all the previous One; I have a more than decent 3 Star artifact Collection for every Major Mode so I really don't want to sink more coffee in that But I HAVE TO to find those sigils.)
TDM/boss rush/season achievement/expedition just kill my interest in this game, sadly i got hooked on this game because of the story and the world, slow release of the world also contributing factor. might be my last comment in this sub, coming here to unsubscribe.
I know this is a controversial topic but difficulty is my main issue. I'm happy with every bit of content in the game, especially the story. But I wish there was a way to experience the story (specifically the early worlds) the way I experienced it a few years ago. I remember fighting the sandmonster years ago, fighting the sandmonster was hard, she was tanky at the time and her skills like the sandstorm swirling around you was a challenge to evade and was punishing if you didn't. I had so much trouble with the bosses back then but looking back it was really fun. When I replayed the story a few months ago on a fresh account, I stormed through the story, defeating bosses in seconds not even giving them enough time to use their skills (until world 10 tho). I wish for the story to be more difficult or rather the choice for it to be more difficult like a slider or something. Not everyone can do a no hit run of >! Beth's three stages !< so making difficulty a choice would be able to satisfy the majority of the community. I'd definitely replay the story again if the combat was more difficult.
put the season 1 rewards in the future as a reward for some other event. missions were impossible to do and complete for 99% of players. both the skin of the princess and the weapon as well as the portrait and medal
As a long time gacha game player I really don't have much to complain about GT. It quickly became my all time favorite mobile game and I love it to bits. However, I do have some minor gripes so here are mine: If I were to tweak anything it would be the coffee system, maybe increase max cap to at least 100 and decrease the time it takes to replenish it. I understand that new worlds take time and the devs focus on quality over quantity but I'd like a new side story every once in a while (iirc the last one was Afterworld Inc, a year or so ago). Also the replay function should be made permanent for all cleared content (I just wanna replay Folktale and Afterworld dammit!). Finally, like someone already mentioned those damned coins in Expedition mode should be removed, they're the bain of my existence
JP art => Good breather, most global arts are more detailed however Friendly Arena => Probably one of the best things we got Guild Arcade => Very meh, but a nice bonus W14 => Very enjoyable world Expedition => Probably one of the worst things we got, because relics RNG is really dumb, again, takes forever to grind as well. The Farm => Fishing was the best part about the whole thing TDM => A nice breather but still has some issues. Season Achievements => Probably only barely less bad than Expedition, it's not fun to do and it takes forever to do W15 => Very enjoyable world no.2 Hero Ascension => Very warm welcome to give the rare heroes love Boss Rush => Kinda super chill raid that gives extra material, nothing to not like abt it. All the extra QoL => They have been very neat, ranging from now you can see weapons coop teammates hold, to hiding completed collections, upgrading till lv60, or sliding hero exp bar, these were all pretty great, small, but very nice. Overall, a 11/13, which is pretty good for 2022. They need to allocate some resources from making new heroes to making new stories, while W14 and W15 were great, that's over one year, I don't expect a new story chapter every month, but over the course of one season, one story chapter SHOULD reasonably come out, aka, on average of 3 month for a new World and not half a year. Also more side story content and such would be nice. The game is most interesting from its story, and I would really like to know more about the various "nobodies" (This is indeed a personal attack on Lapice) and where they come in.
Well i don't know about the game so much bc i'm just starting. A friend was playing a lot last year and i hear only praise about it!. I'm only afraid i can't finish story being mainly f2p, that's what i only care about at the moment, story. I'm currently at world 3 and i'm having a BLAST with all the hidden references and jokes, i pulled FP and Catherine's EX weapon with my first summons. There's a lot to learn but i'm enjoying it greatly, here's hoping the game is as good as people claims and in 2023 improves even more :)
F2P here, you can finish the story don't worry. There are some bosses though where you will need to learn more about the mechanics, party composition, etc. before you can beat them. Have fun
