Nice draft.
I’m opting for Johnstone & Alex Moreno over Martinez & Guehi. You’re covering the same defences so get the same clean sheets but have the upside of Alex Moreno’s attacking threat. He has scored well recently and this combination is 0.4m cheaper
What's the attacking threat though? 5 assists and 1 goal for TAA this year and 1 asisst for Robbo. Half of TAA's output came in the first half of the season. As a 1 week punt against Forest on a FH I guess it's fine but I don't see the appeal for the run in.
If half of Trent's output came in the first half of the season, then that means the other half of his output has come in the last 10 matches since the half way point. This would give him a better points per match average since the half way point. As in his form is better recently than in the first half of the season and more of a reason to pick him.
Also, this is a thread about a FH this week so I'm not sure why you bring up his appeal for the run in?
Trent for sure but I’m reconsidering Robbo. Not sure who else in his spot for Liverpool though, I definitely want a third but the attackers would be hard to choose.
A very solid draft, my only dilemma is to whether back Newcastle attack and defence or back Kane!
Newcastle are always good at home but Kane has also been ticking along nicely throughout the season.
if Stellini plays 5 attackers, Kane may be deeper than usual. Doesn't mean he wont get FPL points, just means his upside goes more towards xA than the usual xG .
This is what happened once Danjuma and Richarlison came on the pitch, Kane's position got much deeper against BOU. Both Danjuma and Richi play much further up than the players they were subbed in for, Sanchez and Skipp.
but this is a MUST win for Spurs, and I hate for it to be against my beloved NUFC. But at least we are defensively sound at home. God willing NUFC comes out on top. I don't see any clean sheets fwiw.
There is no statistics behind it but I tend to back the home side on tough calls like this. Spurs could easily score against Newcastle but Newcastle will have the majority of the crowd behind them, which could just be enough to give them a vital edge.
Hello everyone, GW32 is a popular week to free hit and in this blog i have covered everything needed from a FH GW32 perspective including players to target team wise, three different drafts wirth key notes, FH GW32 vs GW34 comparison including a mock GW34 free hit draft. [**Do check it out**](https://allaboutfpl.com/2023/04/best-fpl-gw32-free-hit-drafts-to-consider-free-hit-guide/) if you're planning to free hit and if you have any questions, feel free to drop a comment and i'll answer the same here. As always feedback and support from here is always appreciated!
I've followed your blog since GW1 and I love it. I am between Top10/20K mainly thanks to your guidelines.I was going to FH in GW32 , that was the plan for a long time. However, right now I am considering FH GW34 since for GW32 I will be able to field 10 players. With GW34 and FH I can filed 11 double game players so it would be much more beneficial than FH GW32.
Congratulations on an amazing season so far and thanks for the kind words, really means a lot. Totally agree with your reasoning for GW34 FH, enough upside there as well. Good luck!
Up until yesterday I was dead set on playing FH in GW32, but I realise that when Rashford got injured I swapped him out, did some shuffling and ended up with 10 players who'll be available this gameweek. So I'm very tempted to save my Free Hit until GW34.
It does mean fielding 5 defenders in GW32 though, and lately my defenders have been returning 1pt each game, so it might not be a high-scoring week.
I'm weighing up navigating BGW and Free hitting GW34. 2 FTs, and team is:
Raya/ DDG
Estupinan/Mee/Trippier/Botman/Shaw
Mitoma/March/Saka/Martinelli/Rashford
Kane/Haaland/Watkins
Transferring out the two Man U outfield players gives me 10 playing players, and I can FH in Man U players in 34 - and keep all 3 Brighton players for their run-in. With this team would you FH 32 or 34?
Sa - (Leno)
TAA - Van Dijk - Trippier - (Moreno) - (Guehi)
Salah - Saka - Martinelli - Eze - (Andreas)
Watkins - Jesus - Solanke
Defense will probably get changed except Sa, the rest will probably stay as it is rn
This is pretty much exactly the FH Team I'm on right now. Just unsure on double Liverpool Def and Trippier for Moreno/Mings.
Eze/Olise seem like the best 4th midfielder choices but it also feels very knee jerky of the last two GW
I have similar atm except I have three Arsenal (White) and two Liverpool (TAA and Salah). Going to see how they get on tonight before deciding. Would like to get Darwin in but he’s not guaranteed minutes these days.
The next best option would be in DGW37, Man City, Man United and Brighton along with Chelsea will double. Plenty of TC options!
GW36 should also be a double with Brighton and Newcastle doubling which is another decent window.
Great draft, I'm still a little skeptical about West Ham, they're just not the same side away from home. Darwin is a very good option,i haven't see him in many FH drafts and if he returns it would be a great rank booster considering most of them will have Salah.
Great guide! Appreciate the effort put into the drafts and analysis of the players to target for GW32. The comparison between FH GW32 and FH GW34 is especially helpful in planning for the rest of the season. Keep up the good work!
Yes you’re right but if you sell a player who was already in your team and then want to buy him back then you’ll have to pay his current price and not the price you brought him for. So be careful removing players who you want to retain in your FH team!
That's the exact reason I'm FH'ing this week. Got no WC or BB left, so in GW34 I already have the following who all double:
(Pope, Ward)
Shaw - Estupinan (Trippier, Chilwell, Botman)
Rashford - March - Mitoma - Grealish (Saka)
Haaland (Kane, Watkins)
I'm already consigned to the fact that my heavy green arrow from the earlier WC and BB will be evened out by a heavy red arrow in GW34. Regardless, it's easy enough to use my 2FT to at least get Salah (for Saka, most likely) and Trent (for Chilwell) in, which gives me 9 players with DGW. From there, it's probably a -4 for something like Kane for Nunez in order to have 10 outfield players with DGW. Won't be wasting one on a keeper.
Mine more or less matches yours, but with Mings over Robbo. Mings has been so consistent and scored me more points than I thought he would. With Villa on decent form, I just cannot justify benching him.
If you’re surely wanting a Villa defender then I would suggest Alex Moreno. Got an assist vs Newcastle but he should have had more surely!
Great assist potential and linkups well with Watkins, have in my normal team as I brought him in as a Shaw replacement in GW30 and I’m considering holding him in my FH team too!
Is anyone thinking of white instead of saka for that 3rd arsenal spot (with Jesus and martinelli)? He has a good chance of bagging a clean sheet and is on form offensively.
Johnstone
TAA Robbo White Moreno
Salah Martinelli Bowen/Maddy/Eze
Jesus Kane Watkins
I have Saka and Martinelli in my pre-FH squad. Replaced Saka w/ White and added Jesus. My FH squad is identical to yours, except Solanke instead of Kane, Eze instead of Moreno, and Billings for the last midfield spot.
I'm currently running with:
Johnstone
TAA Robbo XX
Martinelli Salah Eze YY
Watkins Kane Jesus
Torn between White + Bowen/Maddy/Ramsey/Andreas or Moreno + Saka for the XX and YY. I like White but the more I look at it the more upside I see with option 2. Not a big fan of the alternatives to Saka.
Bold moves with the Bournemouth boys!
>Not a big fan of the alternatives to Saka.
I only chose Billings because of this, wanting to have an extra differential (and the fact that the Martinelli/Jesus synergy is back).
Likewise with Solanke though. I'm still undecided between him, Toney, Kane, Isak, and Jota.
Kane probably safest given his prpensity to score + NEW's recent leakiness.
Toney at home against AVL sounds nice, but his form has been spotty recently and AVL def has been nice.
Isak form is looking decent -- might do him tbh just because they're playing Spurs.
Jota I'm just worried about his minutes despite his 4 starts in 6, and his haul against Leeds I think says more about Leeds's poor defense rather than Jota's return to form.
I am going with Castagne, Maddison and Iheanacho. I have strong feeling for Leicester this week.
Taa, Robo, Salah
Jesus, Martineli
Johnstone, Eze,
Kane.
I did -4 to get 11 for 32 (Kepa for Martinez, Chilwell for Mings, yeah f*ck Chelsea) and absolutely doing free hit for 34. I'd like to do triple captain but I can make the same points elsewhere. I really think overloading on Liverpool and City players and Man United players will get me a bigger score.
Price changes of FH impact your money. Don’t sell players on free hit until you’re sure, as buying them back will be more expensive (if they had price rise since you first bought them)
This is very close to my first draft of FH32, except I’ve stuck with Martinelli > Billing and Kane > Jesus.
Only because I have so much value in them so far that if I transfer them out and then Jesus or another midfielder gets injured then I can’t get them back.
Leno/(Raya)
White / TAA / Robertson (Mee / Alex Moreno)
Salad C / Bowen / Martinelli / Eze (Andreas)
Watkins / Jesus / Kane
It’s going to be either Kane or Toney
First draft:
Johnstone
TAA/White/Robbo
Salah/Martinelli/Eze/Bowen
Jesus/Watkins/Solanke
I don’t want Saka and partially Kane but I’ve just went ahead in my ML and second place has them both and I’m considering doing it to block him… he doesn’t have FH.
Solanke could Toney, etc. Also not too keen on Liverpool double defence but other than Salah, attacking options aren’t interesting me (could change if Diaz is back).
Martinez (Sá)
Guehi / TAA / White (Mings, Trippier)
Martinelli / Odegaard / Salah / Eze (Olise)
Watkins / Toney / Kane
Suggestions?
Not really sure about Arsenal, debating jesus for toney, but scared about half mark out for trossard
Also saka? Ruled out since bad form?
Love any feedback
I’ve already taken a -4 hit to bring in Watkins and Salah for haaland and Bruno( I plan to bring back haaland next week. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to take another -4 and put in Robertson for shaw. I currently I have 8 automatic starters and 2 maybes that include ward and bueno.
Martinez (Iversen) Guehi / TAA / Robertson (Toti, Neco Williams) Martinelli / Saka / Salah (c) / Eze (Andreas Pereira) Jesus / Watkins / Kane Suggestions?
Nice draft. I’m opting for Johnstone & Alex Moreno over Martinez & Guehi. You’re covering the same defences so get the same clean sheets but have the upside of Alex Moreno’s attacking threat. He has scored well recently and this combination is 0.4m cheaper
Nice one!
In a vaccuum this week, would you take Johnstone or Martinez?
Johnstone. The betting odds for clean sheet favour Crystal Palace over Villa.
2 Liverpool defenders is very brave, even if their fixtures look fairly easy they are so inconsistent
It's Anfield though and they have such a high upside with their attacking threat
What's the attacking threat though? 5 assists and 1 goal for TAA this year and 1 asisst for Robbo. Half of TAA's output came in the first half of the season. As a 1 week punt against Forest on a FH I guess it's fine but I don't see the appeal for the run in.
>Half of TAA's output came in the first half of the season. You do realize how dumb this sounds right?
No, enlighten me.
That's a fair point. There's been lots of comments on the thread about not FH-ing.
Tough one indeed, Imo Kane is however so good he can score against anybody that's why I have him
Couldn’t score against Bournebouth, though. But I see your point and I’ll also stick with him
> Couldn’t score against Bournebouth Too soon, man.
if Stellini plays 5 attackers, Kane may be deeper than usual. Doesn't mean he wont get FPL points, just means his upside goes more towards xA than the usual xG . This is what happened once Danjuma and Richarlison came on the pitch, Kane's position got much deeper against BOU. There is no statistics behind it but I tend to back the home side on tough calls like this. Spurs could easily score against Newcastle but Newcastle will have the majority of the crowd behind them, which could just be enough to give them a vital edge.
Spread your bets. Nothing wrong with having a Newcastle Defender, Attacker and Kane.
Good but stay away from Saka
I went for Ode over Saka. Any thoughts?

Glad to know our blogs have been helpful for you and a great rank this season, best wishes and good luck to finish as high as possible!
I've followed your blog since GW1 and I love it. I am between Top10/20K mainly thanks to your guidelines.I was going to FH in GW32 , that was the plan for a long time. Congratulations on an amazing season so far and thanks for the kind words, really means a lot. Totally agree with your reasoning for GW34 FH, enough upside there as well. Good luck!
If I make my free transfer, then activate the FH will I retain this player?
Unfortunately the transfer will not reflect, you’re team will go back to how it was at the previous deadline(GW31) after a FH in GW32
By all means if you can manage a decent team for GW32 and maximize FH in GW34 then that’s the best thing to do!
I'm weighing up navigating BGW and Free hitting GW34. 2 FTs, and team is: Raya/ DDG Estupinan/Mee/Trippier/Botman/Shaw Mitoma/March/Saka/Martinelli/Rashford Kane/Haaland/Watkins Transferring out the two Man U outfield players gives me 10 playing players, and I can FH in Man U players in 34 - and keep all 3 Brighton players for their run-in. With this team would you FH 32 or 34?
FH34 so you can get 3 Liverpool and City without needing to do surgery on your team to get them in
I'm in the same dilemma, but how do we go about getting Salah? Shouldn't Liverpool be a priority?
Saka > Salah. Although wait until the Liverpool match tonight to see how Salah gets on, but he's been in an ok patch of form at the moment.
Not enough funds to go Saka to Salah, and tbh no point taking out a player that does play. FH it is.
His home form is different from his away form though
Still unpredictable either way.
Are there any wildcard 33 templates for BB 34?
I’ll definitely put a Wildcard guide for GW33 next week and cover the WC33 and BB34 scenario!
Sa - (Leno) TAA - Van Dijk - Trippier - (Moreno) - (Guehi) Salah - Saka - Martinelli - Eze - (Andreas) Watkins - Jesus - Solanke Defense will probably get changed except Sa, the rest will probably stay as it is rn
This is pretty much exactly the FH Team I'm on right now. Just unsure on double Liverpool Def and Trippier for Moreno/Mings. Eze/Olise seem like the best 4th midfielder choices but it also feels very knee jerky of the last two GW
Knee jerking and point chasing has worked this season
You're not wrong I've took a couple hits and seen great reward from them. I just don't know if I trust palace still
Want to include 2-3 punts when I use fh. Feel like they are perfect
Really like your team. Don't see many people picking Sa but I think Wolves will keep a clean sheet Vs Leicester
Hugely underrated. Third most points for goalkeepers (3 less than first place Raya) and only 5.5% ownership.
I have similar atm except I have three Arsenal (White) and two Liverpool (TAA and Salah). Going to see how they get on tonight before deciding. Would like to get Darwin in but he’s not guaranteed minutes these days.
Edit: Jesus instead of Toney, forgot that I had him in my team. Van Dijk is still up in the air, want to see how they play tonight.
If we FH in DGW34 when would be the next best time for TC?
The next best option would be in DGW37, Man City, Man United and Brighton along with Chelsea will double. Plenty of TC options! GW36 should also be a double with Brighton and Newcastle doubling which is another decent window.
!thanks
Guess I'll save BB for 34 after all and TC in 37. Thanks for this!
Johnstone TAA Trippier Zouma Salah Saka Martinelli Bowen Jesus Watkins Darwin I’m still deciding between Zouma or Moreno or Guehi.
Great draft, I'm still a little skeptical about West Ham, they're just not the same side away from home. Darwin is a very good option,i haven't see him in many FH drafts and if he returns it would be a great rank booster considering most of them will have Salah.
Thanks. Who are you thinking for the Zouma spot?
Definitely not zouma
Who then?
Moreno, but would personally back Robertson over Nunez then get Kane/Solanke/Toney.
Brentford have only failed to score at home two times this season.
And Villa have the most clean sheets in 2023 so who knows.
Great guide! Appreciate the effort put into the drafts and analysis of the players to target for GW32. The comparison between FH GW32 and FH GW34 is especially helpful in planning for the rest of the season. Keep up the good work!
Very much appreciate the detail feedback. Really means a lot and glad our content is very useful!
Can you make unlimited changes up to the deadline after playing the free hit?
Yes you’re right but if you sell a player who was already in your team and then want to buy him back then you’ll have to pay his current price and not the price you brought him for. So be careful removing players who you want to retain in your FH team!
For the ones skipping FH32, do you still have a WC?
Yeah, I’ve dead-ended into 32 with 12 players and 2FT to strengthen, and will wildcard 33.
That's the exact reason I'm FH'ing this week. Got no WC or BB left, so in GW34 I already have the following who all double: (Pope, Ward) Shaw - Estupinan (Trippier, Chilwell, Botman) Rashford - March - Mitoma - Grealish (Saka) Haaland (Kane, Watkins) I'm already consigned to the fact that my heavy green arrow from the earlier WC and BB will be evened out by a heavy red arrow in GW34. No
Thinking this (0.1ITB) Fabianski TAA Robbo Trips Salah Son Martinelli odegaard Jesus Watkins Toney (Iversen Andreas Toti Neco)
Mine more or less matches yours, but with Mings over Robbo. Mings has been so consistent and scored me more points than I thought he would. With Villa on decent form, I just cannot justify benching him.

Need some differentials for my mini league, chasing first place, 50 points behind. Must hope for the best 😉
Don’t go anywhere near Leicester players imho
I did -4 to get 11 for 32 (Kepa for Martinez, Chilwell for Mings, yeah f*ck Chelsea) and absolutely doing free hit for 34. I'd like to do triple captain but I can make the same points elsewhere. Price changes of FH impact your money. Don’t sell players on free hit until you’re sure, as buying them back will be more expensive (if they had price rise since you first bought them)
Allison Trent Moreno White Salah Billing Eze Saka Jesus Watkins Isak Bench: iversen, andreas, patterson, dawson

But it’s a free hit
Raya(Ward) Mings , Tarakowski , Trippier(Kilman)(Martinez) Grealish,Martinelli , Salah , Mitoma(Saka) Haaland , Kane , Watkins
I havent use a single wildcard yet . Do i get to use it twice ?
Ya this season and next one..jk 😆 You only got 2,1 already expired on GW16...
No.
I made same mistake. WC1 expired before resumption of EPL after the World Cup
FH looks pretty uninspiring this week. Kinda wish I’d got a Palace mid instead of Grealish and just played with 9 this week
Nobody backing Leicester? 🤔
When I hit free hit, does it lock everyone in at that moment, or can I continue to tinker like with a wild card?
The latter, it's something you activate, and then you tinker up to the deadline
!thanks
Content creators doing the Lord's work today, telling everyone to FH in Liverpool defenders
Having already used my FH these drafts are confirming my rank is doomed
I really regret not wildcarding this week and then free hitting 32.

Why pick robbo over vvd? In the duble vvd got an insane 26 pointer, isnt he a good differntial with bigger goal opportunities
Does the liverpool/leeds game change anything?
I’ve already taken a -4 hit to bring in Watkins and Salah for haaland and Bruno( I plan to bring back haaland next week. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to take another -4 and put in Robertson for shaw. I currently I have 8 automatic starters and 2 maybes that include ward and bueno.
