Great read and it does not make my decision to WC or nor any easier. My team might not be terrible but a WC would take away the headache the next few weeks are causing. What would you recommend if my GW28 team looks alright without a WC needed?

I think if you have a good team for both the double in 27 and blank in 28 then I would defo recommend not to wildcard. You could WC later targeting the doubles in GW34/37, that's still a great strategy. Never wildcard if your team is not too far away from the template team for the week. Also, fielding one/two players less in GW28 shouldn't be a problem, don't stress too much about having a full 11 for BGW28. Good luck!
