Apart from being a lucky bastard, my strategy is really about trying to find gaps in the template or players who aren't that highly owned. I always sense check though. Am I trying to be different for the sake of it? If the answer is yes then I likely won't go that player. Stats are typically key for me but I use the eye test when I can. When I see a player with good stats and fixtures, I add them to the watchlist. The focus is on getting rid of my weak links and I'll find a replacement from my watchlist so I don't succumb to whims. I'm a major fan of rolling free transfers most weeks. Not afraid of a hit though. Hope this might be helpful

Nope. Do own Toney who's a bit of a differential. I like Nacho and Maddison. Fixtures a bit hard though. I think Felix might be really good for the coning weeks. Monitoring some cheap options I'll need in 25 like Bailey. Bournemouth's attack is pretty spicy as well though bad fixtures. Outtara and Traore look like solid players not sure if they're picks just yet but they're on the watchlist. Trent also very high on my list
