I feel so dumb. I made my transfer plans for the round straight after the quarter finals, and I planned to bring in two defenders from each side of Milan, and Leao. So when Leao was out I bought Lautaro. But I kept the 2-2 defender split instead of shifting one or both for diMarco and Dumfries. One of the small decisions you need to get right when margins are as tight as they are in a 4 team round.

Well I said before I thought it be a low scoring game and did bet under 2.5 goals haha so maybe I did contradict myself. Just did not want to go all in for the clean in case it was high scoring. I think I like never captained defenders ever in fantasy except Serie A fantasy where defenders like Theo are so good.

Not great Inter clearly better. Got the 3 Inter cleans, but another captain blank. Maybe the lesson is to cap defenders or even keepers. Milan really poor though. Kind of boring that the only chance to gain at this stage is to load up at a def or get lucky with a random low owned pick like Mkhitaryan score or nail the captain from the picks everyone got. Need Onana for next round, but no cash. Grealish vs Rodrygo to downgrade. Probably Grealish to Rodri, but Rodri is not a great attacking threat at all. Rodrigyo to Valverde maybe better, but I def prefer Rodrygo.

How is it boring? Boring is playing it safe and have a Madrid defender, a City defender, Theo and Inter defense. Picking a differential that returns it's a great move. Talking about luck when there are only 2 games to analyze and predict is shameful.

Well the fewer teams there is the harder to gain. There is not lots of good picks to get so it is kind of boring. If you have 1 defender you want that one to fail in all games. If you got 2 you almost want them to concede anyway. Half your lineup you want to fail due to others gaining more if they do well. Vini and KDB for example I lost rank from doing well. In PL with Haaland unless you captain you want to fail, but at least you gain from the rest even if tiny and some defs unless double up you want to fail. Basically my team for rank gain was hoping Haaland, Grealish, Inter def and Lautaro doing well and hope for recoveries etc for all my defenders.

I would have gone more inter but the main problem is I already had stones and ederson and I had multiple players out

Yeah as I said if you go differential with cap you can gain, but Haaland is far superior in general so you betting against the better pick. Haaland has more goals and more points in all fantasy games so if you expect City to score I see no reason to bet against him. Vini though I could have picked as he is flying in CL.

Fair enough I had and have KDB in PL and he let me down every week. Had him for like 10 weeks in total and no goals scored. So you saying with KDB you should bet against him in the easy games and go for him in harder ones? KDB scoring is quite good money you recommend a bet when he plays a top team like Arsenal, Real etc?

I think if his rate of scoring is higher against bigger teams which based on the stats I think it has been this season then there is some money to make. Although I only bet very tiny amount. Pep had KDB running beyond Haaland in the Arsenal game and that's what convinced me to go KDB. He often plays second striker in the biggest matches.

4 Inter CS, not bad. Milan should've scored, but they don't have great players for a game like this, especially without Leão, so it was a good choice going all in on Inter. A shame that UEFA MOTM are complete bullshit because my team would be in a better place with me having Vini as captain.

If he had played 75, ok, fine, but Barella was still roaming around the whole pitch in the 90th minute and Bastoni was great defensively and excellent on the ball till the end. Either way, this is the problem. MOTM shouldn't be on Fantasy, it's always up for debate

Decided to get two defenders from each team instead of stacking Inter and I probably should have reconsidered with Leao out and the Milan fans so pessimistic. I got Tomori and Calabria instead of diMarco which was really dumb in hindsight.

Not great start. Think nothing I could have really done other than not buying Rodrygo and going for Rodri with additional point. I did not have money for Dias and I am stuck with Ederson over Courtois. Now up to Lautaro and Inter def to save this round. I kind of want Milan to win though, but I hopefully either do Ok in fantasy or Milan wins so no real joy although if I get a goal from Lautaro and Milan scores from Theo who I own it is the best . Think Inter look stronger recently.
