if you click the gear on the sampler there's an envelope+lfo tab. you can use the pitch lfo there
Fruity peak controller might be the way to go: right click & link the sampler channel's pitch to controller, select Peak ctrl LFO from the internal contollers dropdown list, and chanhe the LFO shape on the fruity peak controller to random.
Thank you, this might work but I was hoping for more of a S+H lfo where each note played triggers a random pitch, rather than a continous random LFO running in the background.
Fair, I actually set up my own mixer bus chain for randomness like that. First, I have the sound i want effected sent to a mixer track and put a fruity peak contoller on that track. Then, I have the fruity peak controller (peak side) linked to a on/off FX slot light, that FX slot has a Fruity formula controller with my custom formula which randomizes values. After that, I linked the output of that formula controlller to a pitch knob. I adjust the vol knob in the peak controller if need be, and now whenever i hit a note, the peak controller activates the fruity formula controller, which will change the pitch based on speed and range I set in the forumla controller.
To make things easier, you can probably replace the formula controller with another peak controller and just use the LFO side of that peak contoller if you dont want to use fruity formula controller,
Download the free Vinyl plugin from izotope:
Put it on the mixer track, one of the knobs continuosly detunes the audio signal. Pretty nifty.
Hey this is a great idea. Might work, thanks!
