I think the time limited items are just the base gold cards with a different colour. A part of me thinks this pick will be limited to the top 9 nations or something. There are some special Canada cards coming I saw the 2 Brugge players were getting a Duo objective.

Zero chance they do that. The entire point of the promotion is to capitalize on people’s excitement for their country in the World Cup. They aren’t going to do a promo that requires picking from a small group of countries. That would be lighting money on fire. The players will probably be juiced/balanced to appeal to countries with huge FIFA player bases that aren’t elite teams (particularly USA and Mexico).

That’s a long time to have an untradeable Mbappe, assuming you can even get him out of the French pack. Doubt you’ll be able to, bc it would probably crash his price pretty hard. He won’t be worth 1.1m in 2 months. People would use that card and sell his gold. Also assumes you’d be able to use this cards in rivals/champs. Might just be for friendlies and objectives.

You could give me the best damn players in the game and I’m still getting tired of them and changing the whole team up a heck of a lot sooner than 2 months. If they’re actually the high end players in those packs for players that’s such a W for the player base even if it means literally everyone has Mbappe or Neymar. Let people have fun

Also, watch them put the Friendlies Objectives in Managerial Masterpiece and not in a separate World Cup themed Friendly mode.

Isn't Icon Swaps usually MM friendlies? Save to assume the World Cup swaps will be too. Imagine we'll maybe get something similar to the Euros where you need to score goals with each nation involved to unlock packs/swaps.

Icon swaps is generally "one nation" and "one league". Could definitely see these being in One Nation mode.
