EsotericOccult I'm so disappointed in these responses!
The black sun almost always refers to a germanic symbol used in Himmlers ~~temple~~ castle. It's commonly thought the nazis made this design even though we can find it as far back as badarian Egypt. Esoterically it tends to refer to a "true" and "hidden" sun beyond our main one, which constantly dies and is reborn.
It's hidden by the sun/solar forces. It has true eternity that is only obscured by the light, rather than the constantly dying sun which must let the pole star shine nightly.
Why do You think it was alpha draconis for our ancestors? Btw, this black sun/pole Star is basically lucifer/metatron once he ascended, right? Thats the "eye of providence" (visually at least) the as above version of the eye
That's just how the sky works, earth wobbles and doesn't point in one exact direction, so the pole stars change.
The rest just seems like IlLuMiNaTi stuff, I have nothing to do with Lucifer, Metatron, or Freemasonry
Ok, let me rephrase that. Would You Say the North star is "God" so speak? At it's concealed, most esoteric manifestation/reflection. Curious in your point of view. Seem to know a lot about this. Btw, where do You think this duality of good and evil came from? I know "morality is relative", but I mean extreme examples (Jeffrey dahmer type serial killers, cold hearted mob bosses, cruel dictators/pol posts/stalins, Hitler,etc...) What do You think is the reason for such distortions of psyche/lack of empathy, etc... Keen yo hear you out
There is no "God" imo, just the gods. The circumpolar stars are significant to me specifically because of their relationship with my patron, Set. But for all intents and purposes they can all be seen as gods.
Morality is simple to me. You are a discrete, self owned individual with free will, and so are others. Allowing that free will is moral, hindering it is immoral.
Amun is the black sun that never sets. Ie the black back drop of space.
Amun- Ra is the sun in a black back drop or rather the black encasing the light
That is to say I think the black sun is the empty void we see in the sky at night. It's always there tho...get it?
That’s funny, I JUST read something about this in the book “the great wizards of antiquity: the Dawn of western magic and alchemy”
“for alchemists, the discovery or encounter with the secret inner fire or “black sun” is decisive on the path to the transcendent, transmuting Stone, which itself represents immortal godhood.”
It’s in context with Empedocles’ ‘primordial fire’

And what does this sun do exactly?
Varies. For me personally the "hidden sun" is the pole star.
But if it was, wouldnt it be really "Hidden"?(as in, You can't see it at all/invisible source of life)

Polaris?
For us yes, for our ancestors Alpha Draconis mainly during the rise of civilization.

You don't think the energies of the planets and stars have Any influence over us? Like astrology states for example
He’s right you know ^^

I only know it as a club from the novel Snowcrash.
One of the best books. Seven eves was also amazing.
Interesting
Oh, thank the gods! I though maybe Google had broken or something. Nope, still works! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suns_in_alchemy
I got a chuckle from this. You even provided an avenue to a rabbit hole. I don't see why that got downvoted.
