That looks so shallow, I’d find it when I dig the moat of my sandcastle.
Don't know about the burial depth for this cable, based on the logo it might be old footage. At the moment we have a plough that can burry to more than 5 meter. That will be one mighty moat.

I would say technically the plough is burying the cable. It’s not needed just to lay on sea floor. Which can be done subject to metocean conditions, water depth, protection requirements etc.
Depends on perspective; export at one end equates to import at the other. 😁
The amount of force this cable must withstand when being pulled like that. If even the slightest tension on the backside.
