My only hesitation there is Samsung flagship earbuds drop in price dramatically 6 months after they're released.
I would get a pair of Galaxy buds 2 for like 50 bucks and in 6 months the Galaxy buds 2 pro will probably cost $100 less than they do now.
I had the linkbuds s.. highly unrecommended.
Quality is horrible. I had many many bugs, the worst of which was battery drain for right earbuds, replaced twice and the problem wasn't solved. Right earbud would die when left still has 15% left on average.
Build quality is very poor for linkbuds s as well.
Software update was a nightmare to install, kept aborting.. had to reset the earbuds to get it to install
The left earbud wouldn't work independently, only the right one. Sony's says both should.
Wf xm4s are very bass heavy to the point it masks the mids/vocals. You'll need to EQ it.
The Galaxy buds 2 pro will probably be half the price they are now in 6 to 9 months.
That's the one hesitation I would have because these earbuds tend to drop in price radically after the launch phase.
I haven't tried them but I have the Galaxy buds pro which are good all arounders. ANC is below average or average but call quality and comfort is above average.
But if you look at the price of the Galaxy buds pro or the Galaxy buds 2 you can get them for less than half of their lunch price these days.
Likewise you can get the Sony xm4 for under $150 if you shop for a deal brand new.
So if you do go with the Galaxy buds pro 2, unless you are in a huge rush for them I would wait 6 months or something. You something else in the intern or maybe just grab something else on your list which are much better value.
Or hell, grab yourself a pair of the Galaxy buds two or something which you can get for like 50 bucks.

What does the phone matter? Curious. I have Samsung phone and watch and trying to decide between mtw3 and buds pro 2
Samsung devices have their own Bluetooth codec support which i hear good things about aside from the limited compatibility.
