I think its more like a halo concept car which either way never coming to production but just to showcase their capabilities
Honestly, all I know is that it burned while testing. But i feel like this type of concept was ahead of it's time. Bc there was nothing really like it that i can remember. I was looking at the Mercedes one and it reminded me of this Mazda. Not looks wise just that it was a concept at a point
Didn't even really burn while testing, it burned when top gear was driving it.
Yeah like i said i don't know much about the car
That's why we all are here on donut reddit 😂 hope they make one on furai
Ya bro they were way ahead of the time that too conceptualizing a race car is way more difficult
People say there was only one made there were actually 23 made but with a few more parts they'll run
Should buy one and fix it up like the lykan
Yes let me pull xx amount of money out of my arse and let me rebuild on lol
Seems reasonable 😂
But really I would if I could it has a three rotor engine making 450hp na so why not
If it's possible, give each wheel its own engine.
It didn't even fail, it burned down
Yep. OP got that one wrong. The car was a cool concept. It’s very much a shame that they only made one prototype, and that it was destroyed
Is burning not a failure?
Oh, i guess you can say that it was a failure. The idea i got from the title is that it was a failed racing program or something. But yk i think, it’s a concept car, it turned heads, it’s beautiful, but it burned down. I wouldn’t call it a failure, but I wouldn’t call it a success either. The engine caught on fire.
Oh i get what you're saying. What i meant was like the project itself failed. Not with sales or anything. My bad for the confusion.
I mean it didn't burn in official Mazda tests but rather in the hands of third-parties
personally I want an Up To Speed on the Ford Falcon both USDM and Aussie versions. Along with that one Honda motorcycle they talked about in the Ninja episode as the worlds first sport bike
Those would be great videos too 🔥
My best car in GT5
I first saw the car in Gran Turismo for the PSP and couldn't wait for it to come out but never did :(
I feel like the front end styling was definitely put into Mazdas more recent cars
Imagine a Miata with that front 🔥🔥😂
This is [what I think of](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/31/f8/d4/31f8d4d73e01f5ed697206b803a24e58.jpg) when I see the front end of that car.
Lmao using that decal like the cars movie decals would be sick
The car with a name from Birmingham
Man, the Furai is really happy
Reminds me of the joker sometime
Furai on fire
I loved the concept of the car as a design
This car was so cool is asphalt 8
The sound exhaust of this car was splendid. [This four wheel orchestra](https://youtu.be/C4Xl0i4uNGU)
How could it fail with such a smile? I wish my girlfriend smiled at me the way this car does man
I literally grew up wondering why nobody talks about this car
I thought they did, it caught on fire
Its a cool design tho
you mean how it succeeded!!!
Mazda's only modern 3-rotor, the one that stole my heart at first site? Yes, this car is so delicious it's too dangerous to let us have. It is TOO GOOD for this world 😭
The Mazda Furai sadly got cooked by Top Gear Magazine while testing.
And a bumper to bumper on the aurelio
