dodgers-please-do-something-this-offseason watch has officially started

The Bellinger news sucks, it’s not total doom and gloom. This team is still really really good, and the next wave of young talent is coming

Thinking positive thoughts for all us Bellinger fans

I legit think this years post season failure has completely shocked the FO. I have no idea what they plan on doing. I really don’t think we are going to see much moves this offseason. Maybe a trade with Brewers for Burnes and Adames. But I think this year is going to be a quiet one.

Calimancan

I don’t blame them. FO built a dream team with no real flaws and they could only muster 1 playoff win. So disheartening.

It can't be a quiet offseason. They have too many holes as-is.

L02ed

I tend to agree. The talk from the FO and players after 2020 was about getting greedy. They signed the best free agent pitcher on the market (Bauer) and then went out and got Trea and Scherzer, then signed Freddy and got nothing but playoff frustration and embarrassment from it. Now, it seems like this year will be a resetting of expectations. Winning the World Series Will still be the goal, but different than the past two years, if it happens, I think will be more a surprise than expected given the squad the Dodgers will put in the field in 2023, with all the prospects who figure to get prominent roles.

JinFuu

Question for you dudes. Would you consider the Dodgers relevance in the 80s as starting with the 81 season or the 77/78 Pennant runs? Like 81-88 relevance or 77-88? I’m putting together some stupid off-season stuff
