Yeah it's a nice little detail of D2R, I've found myself amused by it quite a few times haha.
Looking down at items on the ground or the chickens in Act 1, looking up at tall people like Meshif or Geglash, or looking down at short people like Akara or normal height people if you're a barbarian or werebear.
Bible, book of the damned, chapter eleven, verse 666:
I, the angel and protector of all middle earth, shall be given shiny coins to reanimate and henceforth bringforth the fodder who shall die to protect ye as ye blinks around said middle earth.
Your character will look at whatever you’re moused over if idle, even items on the floor, waypoints etc. If you’re not selecting anything they will even look at bats and other critters as they go passed. I also think this is really cool.
while I really like the character and the way he is depicted mostly (d2 good, d3 better IMO), I hate the fact that we have to PAY an ARCHANGEL to raise our followers. He should at least give us a break! by the time you get to Hell in HELL mode, my follower is about 50k and too stupid to live.
Similar to how we have to pay for health potions (though it's fitting for Lysander to charge us), when we're actively fighting to save the world, and their lives!
I like to be parked rogue encampment and listen to the country crickets and nature sounds. Feels like I don’t live in the city. Turn up the speakers and let it play for hours. You’ll grow to appreciate it
Whaaaat dang that's pretty cool. I only really noticed it in the den and tristram portal so I wonder if is location dependent? Or is it random and that's all I heard when I started noticing it?
Pretty sure Fallen have been saying "Colenzo" since before LoD was made. They recorded the sound bites first, and then as a fun little easter-egg decided to name some super uniques after how they thought the sound would look like written out. (And they say the same things no matter where they spawn, it's completely random.)
I only noticed that the little demons outside of Andariel’s room will always chant Colenzo’s name (noticed it during my runs on her). Idk about anything else.
Another cool thing is the Zealots in act 3 are humans being influenced by Mephisto and once you smash the compelling orb they aren't "influenced" anymore and will run away from you.

No no, your character is reading the textbox.
correct answer. the text box is the character’s teleprompter.

There is just something about Tyrael that’s so cool
The whole design is amazing, but I think the main thing is the wings. It's such a unique take on angel wings.
The cool wings, the dark instead of face, the massive armor. It's just cool.
everytime in the act 2 cinematic I flinch because it looks like he is going to get them pinched by tal rasha's tomb door
the diablo angels are so well designed and iconic, I love them 😭
He became shit in D3, got Wilson'ed.
Got what?
WILSON’ED!

I loled
C'mon Blizz, give Tyrael his wings back in D4!
*This man gets it*
Or Metzened.
Thank you!
Did you also notice that a freaking angel requests gold from you to revive your Merc. Make it make sense

Ah, yes, I remember it fondly
And them... Ye lost its contract with Adidas and everyone else... And have no more shiny coins...
Could be like D&D, it's literally the cost of the components
Gotta pay those electricity bills
Everyone looks up to Tyreal, he’s a G.

He’s a floating angel. Left leg is slightly bent and he’s playing skip-it with your spear
Stand in town and drop something on the ground :)
Tyler1 energy
Rejected dialog: *The vacant space where my face should be is up here, Hero.*
They should make a movie of D2. The story line is great

Well, do you know how expensive fuel is nowadays? This wings dont fly by theirself.
Well he has to keep the Pandemonium fortress running somehow.
I heard they're building a Starbucks in there

This is like the kind of thing where since he's a government official, he isn't allowed to offer the same service below market rate.
Something something game mechanic.
I understand about the game mechanic but you think the Paladin (in my head, dunno about lore) smith , Halbu, would make more sense.
It's kinda rude of him to be half floating for no reason when it causes neck strain in others speaking to him.
This is detail!!!

Based on the wings he def listens to Metallica
They look at the chickens as you run past them in act 1 too!!
Something I noticed for the first time recently is the carvers will say rakanishu sometimes. I never paid much attention but it blew my mind
Wasnt that happening already in the original?
Yeah, they’ve been doing that since OG D2.
I'm not sure it's been a long time since I've played D1 or D2 without the r. It's just a small detail I never noticed.
Not just Rakanishu, but Bishibosh and Colenzo as well.
I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the shamans, but the fallen and the carvers, too.
Whaaaat dang that's pretty cool. I only really noticed it in the den and tristram portal so I wonder if is location dependent? Or is it random and that's all I heard when I started noticing it?

The bosses are named after the sound samples, not the other way around (Rakanishu, Bishibosh and Colenzo)
Oh really? Good to know
Another cool thing is the Zealots in act 3 are humans being influenced by Mephisto and once you smash the compelling orb they aren't "influenced" anymore and will run away from you.
Oh wow really? Never ever saw that, really cool
Yeah I knew that one. I love those details though!
I wouldn't look down on him...
she looks ugly af.
Yes it’s because tyrael is taller then your character
They did such a good job at this remaster. Tyrael looks amazing
