I am looking at moving my Virgin Media TV box from one room to another. I have never previously had cable TV, so this is all very new to me.
The first picture shows the cable originally connected to the TV box, via the cable in picture number two.
Picture number 3 shows the TV cable used by the previous owners in the room I want to move the TV box to.
Would it be just as simple at to use a cable like this [this](https://www.toolstation.com/proception-digital-fly-lead/p97942?utm_medium=feed) to connect the cables in picture two and three, and then to the TV box?
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Plug cable in picture 1 Into cable into cable in picture 3 (located in original room/front room/wherever)
Get adapter either cable you linked or they do small couplers @ screwfix (although that cable looks like it already has a coupler connected so just remove it?)
Step 3) connect cable in photo 2 to the end of cable in photo 3 located in desired room for virgin media box
connect to virgin media box to your cable
Step 5) enjoy
(Sorry for format etc I’m on my phone)
Thank you very much for the reply. I've disconnected the other end of cable 1, which has the same end, so I've taken that up to cable 3 and then connected cable 2 to the TV box.
Sometimes you just have to embarrass yourself on the internet to understand how to fix something!
Literally what I do for a job :)
Enjoy the tv
