I think you'll find his name is Jolkien Rolkien Rolkien Tolkien.
John Rohn Rohn Tohn
Jandalf Randolph Rudolph Tolkelf
This reminds of how the Owl House fandom collectively decided, despite there being no canon evidence of it, that witches' ears were expressive and cat-like.
I think they moved their ears a lil a few times in the show? that's enough evidence for me
I don't think so--or at least, I don't recall them ever doing so.
But if they did, then it was *extremely* subtle compared to how it's depicted in the fandom
People tend to forgot that we humans can literally do the same thing, it’s just much more subtle and usually an involuntary response to audio stimuli. Some people can voluntarily wiggle their ears, but not much else.
If witches/elves had much more expressive ears that moved voluntarily and involuntarily, it would probably mean that the muscles around the ear area and the nerve pathways that send leaders to those muscles would be much stronger and more complex, and personally I don’t think Witches/Elves are different enough from humans to really justify that kind of biological development.
This is exactly what I was thinking, extremely mobile ears would require more advanced musculature than we have around our ears and elves do not appear to have craniums much distinguished from ours aside from sometimes being more pointed ie sharper jaws and chins
i mean to be fair that feels like the kind of thing they would do with their shows given the opportunity
Thats not his name. It's Jolkien Rolkien Rolkien Tolkien.
Hey, so you remember how you made Sauron look? Yeah, turns out people *really* like that.
I've literally never heard his full name before. I've only ever heard of him as a joke and rock 'n' roll can talk and also thank you speech to text for completely fucking with what I was saying
James Ronald Reuel Tolkien.
Elf ears are sensitive to being touched and twitch easily, but they do not have a great range of mobility and they certainly don’t swivel in the direction of nearby noises.
bro tolkien would love fantasy anime
I headcanon elves as nonexistent because fuck elves
beren when lúthien
Alternatively, Tuor when Idril.
Alternatively, Eragon when Arya
Most tolerant dwarf
no. elves must exist so we can kill them in the name of Shor
wait tolkien's name was a 196 post title? this changes everything
"Elf catboys" In dnd I play a tabaxi who was raised by elves....
Elves have fragile avian bones
I once looked at an elf too hard and he had to go to the hospital.
