Movies with satisfying and/or disappointing endings.

That film is such a mind fuck
One of my favorite endings of all time is the ending to The Third Man.
Agree on Blue.
Man the ending of Night Moves kinda comes out of nowhere and is absolutely brilliant.
I am still haunted by it and thinking how freaking awesome that movie is in retrospect
Thanks for heads up on Night Moves. Have not seen, but now it's going into My List, pronto! Will try to watch relatively soon, will report back here to give my take on ending.
The Director is kinda strong for endings.
Bonnie and Clyde
Hey, just finished Night Moves last night, thanks again for piquing my interest in it. Glad I watched, and before watching a single minute I knew it couldn't be bad because you know Gene Hackman is gonna deliver. Also saw that Susan Clark was a main character, and I love that woman...those eyes and more, and remembered her initially from an old fav of mine, Coogan's Bluff with Clint Eastwood. Liked other actors in it too, but thought Melanie Griffith very amateurish acting job; I know she was very young, but still. Agree, great and surprising ending, One other thing stood out to me....the really good print of the film, colors, grain, contrast, all looked like it was filmed yesterday.
There’s some great critical analysis out there on the movie. One talks about how Hackman is always filmed through different filters, windows ect… I always love how there’s deep critical thinking on classic influential movies.
I think Body Heat is strong from top to bottom.
Haven't seen Body Heat in at least 15 years, or more, have it in My List. Can't wait.
it holds up. hurt and turner are great
Exotica has one of the best endings ever IMO. Rarely has a movie dropped my jaw at the end but that was one
