What is the best chip shape? Trying to settle an argument
By - YeeHaw4Cake
I like my chips mandlebrot shaped
We talking "Pringles" chips or "actually, they're called french fries" chips.
Originally I meant the "Pringles" kind, but either or at this point
I like waffle cut fries. But regular McDonalds type are good too.
If you're talking about crispy potatoe slices, the crinkle cut is superior.
If you're talking about long deep fried strips of awesome, the medium square profiled ones are best. Like belgian fries. Steak is too thick, and thin aren't as good usually. Most places I've been to don't cool thin fries very well.
Nothing better than a classic flat chip that folded over on itself in the frying process, thus making it a couple of layers of delicious crunching. Not a wish chip... I am talking about when a wish chip doesn't have the open space between the fold and the original chip itself.
Doritos shaped. Perfect in every way.
Kettle cooked. Not a shape but a texture I guess
Ripple chips are a close second
When lays put out those chocolate covered potato chips I was mad
Then I tried them and i was mad again because I liked them
And now they’re gone and I’m yet again mad
Take kettle chips sea salt and vinegar, and do a half dip in chocolate.
Mobius strip. They’re salted only on one side.
I’m a sucker for the tostitos scoops shape but I am a dip addict.
Scoops all day
They are all good. Every shape and size.
I’m more concerned with how thick they are. Like i want super thin tortilla chips that are triangles and shatter with plenty of salt, but i want thick sturdy corn chips that are a deep scoop shape like the ones from Trader Joe’s
Obviously, the ones from your favourite local chippy.
Folded. Then folded again.
You get to make two wishes when you eat one of these.
