And then suddenly Leftists condemn government mandates to relieve the health care system

And one would think that certain occupations would require certain certain health standards...yet nothing from OSHA.
So theoretically, a large trucking company or a company where people telecommute, would be required to have their employees vaxxed, even though they have no workplace contact, but cops, firefighters etc, can weigh 400lbs and that's not an issue?

I was on an American Airlines flight recently where the FA was so obese, he couldn't walk down the aisle. He sort of had to turn sideways and shuffle diagonally between each row, and bumping everyone with his gut.
You're telling me this is the "safety representative" on the flight in case it goes tits up?
Wow, I thought FA had strict requirements. Guess that's no longer a thing. Sad.
I had thought so too. I also almost exclusively fly United or Star Alliance flights, so wondered if it was just an American Airlines thing.
I wouldn't doubt if they relaxed the rules to prevent the twitter mob from coming after them for being fatphobic or something lol
There was a lawsuit against TWA or Pan Am for discrimination or something. FA used to be under a certain height and weight.

He’s actually the life raft
Remember, in 2020 covid was the *third* leading cause of death. Following heart disease and... Diabetes I think.
YeAh BuT oBeSiTy iS nOt CoNtaGiOuS!
Never mind that it kind of *is* contagious, especially within families living together under the same roof. Kind of like covid...
As an overweight American (used to be in pretty good shape, then I had two kids and lost it) I would honestly be behind a mandate to meal prep and work out. Federal money given to gyms to provide short term child care? Sounds like a health initiative I can get behind.
Fuck, I'm not overweight and I'd gladly put my tax dollars towards that. It would solve a lot of problems within the US and decrease the strain on our healthcare workers by orders of magnitude.
Imagine if doctors and nurses refused to treat obese people like they're saying they'll do against those that aren't vaxxed. Obesity is a preventable disease too and how many hospital beds are going to obese people in rural OK that could otherwise go to the rising influx of gunshot wounds out in the middle of the dustbowl. (Heavy sarcasm in that last sentence).
Lose weight or WE ALL DIE!! 🤣👌
What if medical staff denied treatment to gay AIDS patients?
"Flatten the curve"?
Great idea - during the entire pandemic all the different measures were imposed to protect “US” from ourselves. While statistics show heart deserve and cancer death far exceeding ( can’t remember the CDC exact numbers…) covid death - but no mandatory life saving measures?
Or sugar intake for diabetics?
I've been saying this for years. I wrote an argumentative paper in one of my Master's classes called "Morbidly Obese People Should Pay More For Health Insurance". I was almost immediately booed when I got the title out- by overweight fat fucks in the class.
\*I was living in Hawaii so the Samoans especially did not like this paper. Funny, none of them could give a rebuttal to my thesis except for, "PiTuItArY gLaNdS!!!"
> none of them could give a rebuttal to my thesis
Not surprising. Especially in Hawaii which may be the number 1 state that committed financial suicide over the over hype of covid. It's a liberal cesspool. Just think of hirona as a senator. One of the stupidest people in the country. She isn't demented and is dumber than jim crow joe. I lost count how many times I would sit on a plane for 10 hours to vacation there. Now I wouldn't go back for free. Only good thing is that since it's a small island chain the very dumbest people in the country are all in one place.
Lol. That’s a great point.
