Like communitarianism, christian democracy, Islamic democracy?
The KMT doesn't have an official religion but Confucianism is generally the guiding philosophy because Chiang is a Confucian. They are also more pro spending than the DPP but marginally.
The problem with atheistic socialism is everyone sees everything in a material lens as Marx puts it. People will not use it wisely. Religious charity existed a long time ago.
We had a KMT member say he had a dream that Sun Yat-sen is a god and wanted the party to make him the Patron God lol
Dr. Sun was also a Taiping Heavenly Kingdom fan
What exactly does "left wing KMT" mean? These with pro-CCP attitude? Or these with liberal attitutes (as in Taiwan or Western political sense, like liberals in the US?)
I think r/whampoamilitaryschool are willing participants
I think religion works well with social welfare

So you want socialism with religion?
I think the Left wing should adopt it to better their democracy or make the government more diverse on thought
Technically I have seen it but it's not a stable coalition or the leader is ideologically heterodox
The leaders should follow religion and be secular like Dr Sun Yat Sen. He looked up to the Taiping rebels

Yes like US left
OK, good. Historically there was the "KMT left" which became today's RCCK
