I stick with and recommend anything that meets WSAVA guidelines this ensures that the food is tested and researched most brands don’t do this. So iams, purina, hills, and royal canin. Most other brands focus on marketing to cater to us and out emotions as well as focusing on making he ingredients list look nice an ingredients list isn’t the best way to know if a food is good or not. If your vet says stick with whiskas is stick with it but for other brands friskies and fancy feast are good and they arn’t overly expensive. To ensure the food you have had all the correct nutrients make sure it meet AAFCO standards.

I'm from a small part of Asia where animals' needs aren't really anyone's priority here. So, there are no pet shops and even if there are some, they're right next to a butcher's shop. They're probably used for human food etc. All I found at their place was Whiskas, me-o and Bellotta. I think "Bellotta Tuna in Gravy" is the best I could go with because my cat had a negative reaction to the other two brands. So, I'm trying to test Bellotta from today on... But I shall keep your words in mind. Thank you for your help, Cheek. :)

Ah i see, than the AAFCO statement won’t apply to you. The best advice I can give is talk to your vet about different food options and what brands that you are able to get meet your cats nutritional needs..

We dont have veterinarians here. After Google search, I did find a so called "vet" and she was a quack who recommended that I feed my cat whiskas. When that didn't suit my cat, she was out of ideas. This entire time, I did not have a doctor for my cat. Only google scholar has helped me so far, and I thought I'd take extra knowledge from reddit too. So, ty Cheekie!! :)

Not sure what country you are in or if this will be available for you... but my pick is Ziwi Peak canned cat food. It is expensive. The food originates from New Zealand and I get it sent to the US. I order it on Amazon by the case and get free shipping. They sell two size cans. We buy the bigger size can because we save money. It is less per ounce than the single serve cans. It is a pain because you have to refrigerate it in between feedings, but the money savings are worth it. My cat eats from the large can about 3x. Again, it is expensive, but look it up and check the ingredients out to see if its right for your cat. I researched so many foods and this was the clear winner for me. I think it would help the fatty liver. I understand your situation, my cat is very important to me, and when I learned the truth about what they put in pet food I was so disturbed. He had a lot of health problems, used to vomit everyday, not on this food. We found out it was all the grains and wheat in conventional foods making him sick. Sometimes if we run out of Ziwi I will get him Nutro Grain Free Perfect portions. Not as good as Ziwi, but way better than a lot of stuff out there. Hope this helps!

Sounds like a good brand to me. Will definitely look into it and see if they ship this when I get the chance, thanks so much Dark! :)

Weruva cat food and tiki cat are both really good. My cat is super picky about wet food and loves both of these. But there are tons of great cat foods you can order online.

Will definitely look to see if I find these, thank you :)
