It surprised everyone and showed up last night. There’s some pretty cool pics of it and regular followers said it was the best they’ve seen in 6 years.

I looked a few times on Thr night and didn't see any. https://www.swpc.noaa.gov Check that site every evening. Spend much of the night outside and look up when:
* G index is 4 or above, maybe above 3
* Kp index reaches 7 or above, likely has to be 9 but that's extremely rare
* "The Aurora" rotating graphic shows a lot of red, the further south the better
But good luck, the aurora can come and go in a matter of seconds. If anyone is circulating pics and claiming northern lights in Boise it was probably a long exposure from a fancy camera on a tripod. FWIW, on the night of 3/23-24 the K index reached only about 7.5 and the Geomagnetic storm level was G4.

Next time, think, then speak.
I saw them periodically, and spectacularly, when I lived in central Idaho, but haven’t seen them at all since moving to Boise 12ish years ago. Just a bit too much light pollution, I think.
Saw them last night. Wilderness Ranch.

At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country?

Localized entirely within your kitchen?
Yes!
May I see them?
...No.
I saw them up in Moscow as a kid, but I can barely even see stars in Boise.
Me too.

As a fire lookout up by McCall I've seen them twice. Nothing these past few days.

Last night proved that statement wrong. The solar storm was strong enough to make it seen in Boise for a good minute
Horseshoe Bend got them!
It was seen in california

If you drive North for 700 miles or so.
Do you have any pics?

Last time I saw them here was in the 90s.
