What is that, ramen?

FedByTofu22

It’s tea.

GfFoundOtherAccount

Oh, I thought it was ramen.

VagueSoul

Nope, just tea.

KiwiCookie85

Omg boyfriend and I do this quote all the time!!!

hirudoredo

my partner makes a lot of tea and watches a lot of BB. idk how many times I've deadpanned asked "is that ramen?" and she's just looked at me like I'm crazy. one day... she'll play along...

roofinruffin

What are you guys talkin about?

orionsbelt05

I thought Kathrine was making Ramen. For some reason I thought I saw noodles.

openup91011

Nope - just tea.

BrownSaiyan

To the J man

Drixzor

"urff, ugghh"

shizzydino

The song he's listening to in the car in this sequence is so catchy!

New_Wrangler3335

Doo do do do do dooo, do do do do, do do do do,

SuperSaucyWaffles

Oh, human music!

New_Wrangler3335

It’s bob from uzebakistan

Glissando365

I caught myself bopping to a similar song on my way to the office the other day and had a very visceral flashback to this scene

mbc106

I always thought it was “I Got a Name” by Jim Croce, but it’s probably just generic background music.

fullmetallu

Sam my man from Uzbekistan You got the Bob in the house!

Boring-Exchange4928

This actually hit pretty close to home. Office life.

alexander12212

If this restaurant fails, I’ll kill myself. That’s my Bobby.

kabukistar

Haha, Borat!

g00ber88

I love this dream sequence. And the fact that within the dream, Bob isn't miserable, he seems chill and pretty optimistic. But I guess the idea of enjoying the 9-5 office life is another layer to the nightmare from bobs perspective

orionsbelt05

Hit the nail on the head. The office life is a nightmare in itself, but seeing how accepting he was of that nightmare was too much for Bob to take. He never wanted to become that person.

Middcore

As we touched on in the thread about "Pro-Tiki, Con-Tiki" a day or two ago, it's important to remember that Bob has probably never actually worked a 9 to 5 office job in his life... so this nightmare is just how he imagines it. It's interesting to contemplate whether he would actually be happier working a 9 to 5 and just cooking for his family than trying to make the restaurant a success when he has no business skills and basically refuses to learn any. It's a good point that even in the nightmare he doesn't seem unhappy, his fear is that he *would* be happy.

thejamesisalright

Get over here! You gotta see this!!

LadyRarity

lllllotta emails. mostly spam.

LilDanielPrincip

Love it.

TranerGarvis

This scene is one of my absolute favorites from the show! I shout “MAH WAIFE!!!” all the time, in reference to this bit.

Middcore

You realize it's supposed to be that they're doing a bad impression of Borat, right?

TranerGarvis

Yup. And I still choose to reference this bit and not the movie when I yell MAH WAIFE!!!

Designer-Job4778

It's hilarious how hateful Bob is towards this because I enjoy shooting the shit with coworkers whether it was office work, labour or service industry. But I would hate running my own business the stress isn't for me and I don't have ambition for it, Bob's a different breed.

LordIggy88

Did you sign the card?

RubyGTR

Borat!

LordIggy88

BORAT!

Stevenerf

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56RsdDNjGI4 The scene. One of my top scenes from the entire show

blueaintyourcolor11

What episode is this from? I've done several watch throughs and I don't even remember it.

JoeMama9719

Moody Foodie

PokeMomIsTheBomb

I don’t know why, but I read ‘my wife’ in the same voice as that Borat impersonator even though it’s a completely different episode 😅

ploppedmenacingly14

I like you, do you like me?

PokeMomIsTheBomb

Check mate? More like check-the user agreement.

YamperIsBestBoy

MAH WIFE! I love this scene. Me and my dad quote it all the time.

L-Cell

My partner and I say that to eachother and we’re very afraid we’re gonna accidentally do it when we actually get to have our wedding.
