Clean the wound twice a day and put some healing salve aftwards , to make sure the wound does’t dry. Keep the cat from licking the wound and when cleaning, remove the dead tissue until se blood ( blood= nutrients and defence cells) Also you can dilute the betadine in water, it can be a bit agressive undiluted. A kind lady just told me that the skin might grow over the bone in the course of a month, but it is bad if it goes black. This helped me a lot. So, just a shout out to her! She rocks :)
