People have been worried about their countries future since the first country came into existence. It would be weird not to. For most places things have been worse than now. WWI and WWII were pretty concerning. The US Civil War. This goes on and on.
This is just not true. There are good times when people are hopeful and times when they are not hopeful.
I have given up a long time ago...
To others this is a paradise...
To me this is purgatory...
I'm am very worried,
It's a very poor country,
Next to Ukraine,
Too many vampires.
US quite worried.
Lots of reasons.
We have one party whose voters are marching lock step into an authoritarian future. Another party whose voters consistently refuse to vote because the candidate(s) in question don't match their goals 100%.
Our infrastructure across the country is failing miserably, and politicians on all levels fight to keep it from being repaired.
We have politicians straight up ignoring laws passed by voters, or passing laws themselves to overturn voter placed laws.
Minimum wage hasn't been touched in over a decade, workers rights are being dissolved.
SC has made it so states can decide your medical future without your input.
We have multiple cities and towns that are about to be having major water issues, and nothing is being done about it.
Our logistics chain is still in shambles, and instead of learning from it everyone is just dead set on sticking with the just in time model that led us to issues in the first place.
Then there's the wedge a certain group likes to keep driving between both sides of the isle to keep people divided.
> You probably hate me but I simply don't care about any of that.
Don't hate you. You're just being incredibly naive if you think these issues won't eventually affect you.
how is not caring going to help?
worried people tend to take action.
protest, get involved in local politics, donate, organize, influence,....
citizen's apathy is part of the design.
Romania : not worried at all
Packing my bags, here I go
Brother what about russia
Tf ?!U shouldnt be worried at all the inflation is decreasing i think
Alright but I am still waiting for the corrupt politicians to go away
I love Romania.
I have a good feeling we'll be getting rid of our useless PM before the next election.
I'm a Filipino
Not worried, it already fucked itself over.
I'm quite worried about the Netherlands. It's mostly because the government endorses to have no vision and also is very reactive, if not lethargic, towards current problems going on in the country.
Example: *ooh, we are scoring bad on green energy, worse than Poland even, maybe subsidize solar panels more? Oh wait, it's too late, people install these themselves*
A few years later: *nooo you're installing all way too many solar panels! Our grid is falling apart!*
On a scale with 1 being the lowest to 10 high.
I'm near 2-3 as days progress it might actually go to 1.
There are somethings I'll be just more accepting but that doesn't mean there is no room to hear different views or gathering with people.
So much examples of OlD vs New, not much to worry about.
VERY my country might fall victim to russia
More so than I was 2 days ago. Yesterday I listened to the general of my country announce their measures to be more prepared for war so that the second war is declared the country will be ready. Its making me think that we're on the brink of nuclear war and that's terrifying. What isn't helping is that I've not seen anybody else freaking out about it
Over 1 000 000 citizens migrated since 2021.
Has both the highest unemployment rate and number of citizens with HIV/Aids in the world.
4 out of our 9 cities are on the list of top 50 cities with highest homicide rate in the world.
Almost daily country-wide power outages due to governments’ mismanagement and corruption.
School kids only require 30% as a passing grade.
Very, it really feels like we’re regressing
I just go with the flow
very worried, macron is a terrible leader in my opinion and doesnt care in any way about ecology, i feel that if he governs longer he will probably shove our nation in a horrible situation
