There are many, many ways. Some of them have been positive, some not so much. Here’s a few…
Positive: Information that would have been more difficult to find, or slower to acquire is readily available. If you’re old enough to have been alive but young pre-Internet, think about trying to find your favorite athlete’s stats, learning how to improvise when playing a musical instrument, or learning how to throw a curveball, etc… before you could just Google it. You had to find books and/or teachers, and depending on how niche the information was, it could be really difficult.
Negative: Every dumbass has a platform from which to broadcast their stupidity to the entire World, where other dumbasses can ingest it, and accept it as gospel.
