Disgusting

nsmith0723

Not in my house no

mieldivina

Might be a cultural thing for me (yes still an American) but no shoes inside the house unless they’re house shoes

Wrong_Language_1518

"House shoes" you mean like slippers or like when I was a kid, and sometimes still, wearing new shoes inside until they're worn outside once.

mieldivina

Like slippers! Or sandals for the house

Ordinarypanic

Don’t really care either way. Though I can’t imagine someone lounging around the house wearing shoes, sounds uncomfortable.

Alphabater0441

Who gives a fuck lol when there's company I'll clean up outta respect but if its just me im not chilling out on the floor or walking around shoeless so screw it

YetAntherThrwAwy

Australian, but I never understood shoes off households. Door mats exist so you can get the dirt off your shoes before you go inside and, unless you live in a place prone to mud cleaning your floors is an easy once a week task. Yes, clean the crud from your shoes, don't track in dirt and whatever else is on the bottom of your shoes, but taking them off when you're heading out again seems tedious. Also, to me, taking my shoes off feels like my day is done and now I can relax at home, constantly putting them on and taking them off would be annoying.

sugarw0000kie

How is that even legal
