I met this gorgeous woman on the street in manhattan and she had a dog, and our dogs met and played briefly. We talked for a while and I just developed the biggest crush on her. She was funny, absolutely gorgeous, super charming and easy to talk to. I asked if she walked her dog around the area and she said she had a dog walker but she sometimes takes walks with them. Then some other lady came and basically took her away into a car and we said goodbye. I had no idea who it was, but I was just madly in love in that moment, and I turned to my sister and asked if it seemed like she was into me, and she just laughed at me.
I thought I just met this beautiful amazing woman on the street and had a chance with her. My sister had to point it out to me afterwards that she Salma Hayek, who was that demon lady who sucked Quintin Tarantinos toes in dusk till dawn (my only reference point). My sister *still* brings it up to me all the time that I fell in love with Salma Hayek and had no idea who she was.
If anything that makes your love more genuine. You did not fall for a character/actor, but a stranger on the street!
I agree. Sometimes people forget that actors and actresses are still human beings despite their fame and fortune.
It was probably very refreshing for her to have an interaction with someone who didn't know who she was!
Chances are if OP did know who she is she might not have been as openly talkative and more eager to move on with her day.
Even if she thought he knew her, she might have found it refreshing to have someone engage in a normal conversation with her and not ask her the same questions or ask for a photo.
Celebrities are just people. If you bother them, it’s annoying. If you have a chance encounter and just chat about a shared interest like dogs they will likely respond. I had a chat with a famous footballer as his son was at the same football match as my nephew. We just talked like regular people and he was probably happy just being a Dad.
If you truly loved her, you’d know Quentin Tarantino sucked *her* toes in dusk til dawn
Ah, at that point you were a guy and she was just a woman. Looks like she married a billionaire though, so that’s some tough competition!
Just like Costanza, I'm going with Marisa Tomei.
Linda Cardellini. Ever since I was young, watching Freaks and Geeks. Then the karaoke scene in Grandma's Boy happened...
I can’t decide whether I like him more as Billy Russo or Logan.
Have you tried him as The Darkling? Very nice.
And honestly when you read the books, they casted him in the show as the PERFECT pick.
(Sorry can't read his name not in the punisher voice lol)
why is no one talking about his voice? he has such a great voice oozing with beautiful runs
You mean Bin Bahns
Bin Bons! Recently the Netflixgeeked IG account posted a tribute to him and called themselves a "Bin Bons stan account" and he commented on it and was like "WHERE DID THIS BIN BONS THING COME FROM?!", Poor Ben lol.
I wonder how many current and former celebrities are scrolling through the comments, fingers crossed?
More likely, I wonder how many managers/agents are scrolling through this to up their star's self esteem.
Man, that really does sound great though. Someone working around the clock just with the intent of making you happy. Lol
I was thinking that too! And like.. are they sad if they’re at the bottom of this list? Or happy they made it at all?? Come on celebs, we have questions
Kate Beckinsale And Yvonne Strahovski (She’s amazing in Chuck)
Oh yes, definitely an upvote for Yvonne.
Her in Dexter was a revelation. I would see anything with her in it.
Season 1 Yvonne Strahovski l… instant celebrity crush
I love beckinsale… jennifer connolly is on that list too for me
In Career Opportunities. Oh man!
The Rocketeer. Yes yes.
World's most popular celebrity lawyer
Expert in bird law.
Because dennis is a bastard man
Oscar Isaac, Pedro Pascal, hmm Tom Hardy. Those are my top 3.
I'm biased because About Time is my favorite movie ever, but the way she plays Mary is just pure perfection.
Do dead people count? Alan Rickman (when he was alive, obvs)
I posted Alan also. The body might die but the crush never does.
Long live Alan Rickman.
I have a funny story about this guy.
My first job out of college I was working on sets as a PA, and one night I got called to work a luxury car commercial the next morning at like 5am. Knowing I'd get fed on set, I decided to skip dinner and save the money. So the next day I get to set, grab my walkie and call sheet, and run straight to the crafty station where there is this massive line because they were making omelets.
When it's my turn to order I ask for this super loaded omelet and the guy behind me goes, "Hungry huh?" and I just turn to him and nod and eventually we start making casual conversation. He had the beard of a viking so I ask him what his routine was for it. He goes, "Oh I don't know for sure, my hair stylist takes care of it." and me being the ball buster that I am, and thinking he was just another PA like me, I start making fun of him for having a stylist just for his beard. I said something along the lines of "Oooohhh get a load of this guy!! He has a beard sTyLisT" and he starts to laugh as do other people in line. That's when the AD came over and literally grabbed me by the back of my shirt and pulled me out of line.
He proceeds to scold me on how you should never talk to talent like that on set as PA, yada yada. I still didn't know who he was so I just nodded and apologized while he continued his never ending lecture. When it was over I tried to go back up to the crafty truck and get my omelet, but they were closing down and said they had given it to Alex, the guy with the beard who was standing behind me.
Sad and starving, I grab a bagel and go to take my position on set and when I do I pullout the call sheet to see who it was that I just nearly lost my job over. At the very top it says 'AS' for Alexander Skarsgård.
TLDR: Tarzan stole my omelet for making fun of his beard.
He's also mine, him and of course Henry Cavill.
After being introduced to him as Eric Northman in True Blood I had some VERY confusing feelings watching him play an abusive husband in Big Little Lies haha
yeah but he was actually the best part of Tarzan
Lagertha. Jesus H. Christ.
Lagertha is the pinnacle of sexy
her scenes in the Matrix will forever be burned into my brain.
Christina Ricci. As a kid I immediately knew I was into women when I first glimpsed Wednesday Addams.
Stanley Tucci. I know not the norm, but he is just such a sexy dad IMO 🥴
I think he appeals to so many sectors. He’s got such a calm and confident persona that I can’t imagine people meeting him and not walking away aroused even if it may confuse some.
The same as it’s been every day since 1989:
I feel like nobody would have judged him had he left it the way it was.
She's from Winchestertonfieldville, Iowa
Ewan McGregor. He’s getting hotter the older he gets.
Edit- Thank you for all the awards. But damn my inbox this morning.
That’s what killed me about Attack of the Clones. Amidala falls for whiny Anakin and I am just sitting there going, “wtf girl come on, I mean Obi-Wan is RIGHT THERE!”
Because of Obi Wan?
*Because of what you’ve done! Because of what you plan to do!*
Ewan has always been and will always be hot, and it’s not just his good looks it’s also just something about his charm- whether he’s shooting dope or swinging a lightsaber McGregor always rules
It’s the [vortex of Scottish charm!](https://youtu.be/j2ZS-NSiTrk)
Tom Hiddleston. Had always loved Loki in the Thor comics… then he just brought him to life in the best way. Also just a super nice guy.
I met Alison Brie when I worked at a ritzy rooftop club in LA. She treated me, her fucking *waiter*, like an old friend, and by the end of the day we were laughing and bullshitting with each other like idiots. Definitely had a crush at the end of the day, and I understand why she's so successful, too. Talented as fuck, beautiful, and wouldn't you rather work with someone who's high energy and actually *nice* on your movie where you're pulling 16-hour shoot days?
EDIT: This was in late 2013 or early 2014, so Community and Mad Men were both still a thing, but no GLOW yet.
EDIT 2: She was actually so charming and fun that I didn't even look at her boobs, despite the fact she was wearing a bikini top. I'm straight, and was in my 20s at the time.
Nothing like a front page comment to bring out the mouth-breathers. Because it clearly needs to be said, it is indeed possible to avoid rudely ogling another human being, especially in a professional environment, and y'all who doubt it should probably learn some self control before interacting with actual women.
Worked with her years ago in the early community days and can 100% vouch that's she's a wonderful person and treats everyone from the director down to the lowest PA carrying coffee like they are her best friends. I'd say she's the greatest person in that industry I ever met.
Two people I’ve ever heard this about. Alison Brie and Kirsten Schall.
My wife went to high school with Kristen Schall and has nothing but good things to say about her. I think it's proof that game doesn't change people; it simply exposes who they really are.
Edit: It's supposed to be "fame", but I like to think Kristen Schall has developed game and hasn't changed, so I'm leaving it.
Ran into her briefly at ComicCon back in '17. She was running to get on stage past a group of people who'd been in line for three hours at that point, and had no chance in hell of seeing her panel.
When she heard them scream out her name, she turned around, burned 90 seconds answering questions as fast as she could, apologized, and sprinted to the room where she'd just held up a few hundred people.
You could tell it was killing her both to have to rush the people who didn't get to see her, and to delay the people who could.
She just kind of ‘projects sweetness’ (and is funny too) - glad to hear it’s for real…
I really love hearing stories like this. When a celebrity crush or just a celebrity for that matter, is cool as hell and down to earth.
Same. Its a warm feeling when someone you want to believe is a good person turns out to be
Watching the bloopers of Community involving her is pretty wholesome, and I can totally believe your story. She seems genuine and fun. My #1 celebrity crush for sure.
Did she do a bad Texas accent and say her name was Caroline from Corpus Cristi?
She's gorgeous, talented and fun. And now you tell me she's actually nice to the waiter? The whole package.
God I am so into Alison Brie
i will never tire of stories about actors/musicians/celebrities in general being not only nice, but genuinely awesome.
Ana De Armas
Loved her in Knives Out but when I saw her in that dress in No Time To Die I became obsessed
have you not watched Blade Runner 2049?
Go watch War Dogs. That’s the movie that did it for me.
No Time To Die needed more Paloma
Mads Mikkelsen will forever be the most handsome dilf
He’s like the human version of handsome squidward to me. In a good way haha
Damn why is that so fucking spot on
Him in Winter Soldier had my inner emo self dying
His hair was so pretty in Captain America:The Winter Soldier. They never quite managed to make it look as good in the subsequent movies he had long hair in.
I love him. So handsome and charming! Seems like a genuinely good dude too
> Oh my god!
> Sebastian Stan!
> Man, you're looking good. Man, oh man.
> Let me tell you something: if you ever see a guy this handsome walking the streets, he's gonna get arrested because he's killing all the ladies.
> Pow pow!
> Pow pow pow!
I can't *not* read Sebastian Stan's name in Anthony's voice
A lot of good ones I could have added here but not seen her.
She honestly gets better the older she gets.
GLOW was an excellent show, but it was weird to have the story and makeup team try really hard to convince us that Allison Brie isn't absolutely gorgeous.
But also she was topless and I wasn't prepared for that.
Dave Franco is one lucky SOB and not just because he is the only Franco brother not in hot water.
I met Dave Franco at a random countryside Hotel in Tuscany nearly 3 years ago. He was filming in a nearby city and just so happened to be staying there the same weekend as my family. Can confirm, he is really fucking nice.
Paul Rudd. There's something about that sexy, fit, dorky, loveable, charming, delicious specimen of a man. Mmmm, Paul Rudd.
Edit: to elaborate
I see sex panther is working on you.
60% of the time everytime
He’s the only celebrity I can say I’ve had a crush on consistently for over 25 years. Yeah, I had a crush on 1997 Leo DiCaprio, but he kinda stopped being crush-worthy by 2000. Paul Rudd only became crushier - like a fine wine.
At this point, Paul Rudd is everyone's favorite.
Brendan Fraser... always and forever.
Pretty sure George of the Jungle was the first crush i had besides Kyle who got on the bus two stops after me in grade school. He liked tornadoes. I tried to combine interests by constantly singing the George of the Jungle song at him, and it didn’t really work.
Paul Bettany and James McAvoy
James McAvoy in the atonement gewd lewd
Ugggghhhhhhhh James McAvoy. Jesus, he’s a sexy one.
James McAvoy *swoon*
Eva Green. Because obviously.
I’d never seen her in anything until I watched Penny Dreadful. Hot AND good at acting.
She’s stunning as Vesper, favourite Bond girl by far.
Certainly got 16 year old me's attention that's for sure.
As a straight man, it's still Matt Bomer.
I think that was my first celebrity heartbreak as a kid. My mom woke me up the morning after he announced he had a husband and I was so beside myself, as if that was really the only thing standing between us as a couple.
Tom's myspace photos >>>
Henry Cavill atm
Henry Cavill isn’t fair. The body and looks of a Greek hero, the personality of a humble down to earth regular Joe. I’ve said it before, as a man I would be jealous of him if I didn’t admire and desire.
I don't think I would. Like if my wife said she was leaving me for Henry, I'd be like, "yeah, that's fair."
Edit: I misspelled a word hilariously.
Henry Cavill literally looks if you asked a Disney artist to draw the most archtypal Disney Prince you could imagine. Chiseled jaw? Yes. Muscular build? Yes. Tall? Yes. wavy black hair? Yes. Piercing blue eyes? Yes…
What the fuck…
He's genetically engineered Prince Charming.
Not to mention he's kind of introverted, a gamer nerd, and builds computers.
Literally something to appeal to everybody.
And he was known in school as Fat cavill .. I’d like to see these bully ass kids faces now
"I'm leaving you to be with Henry Cavill."
"Yeah, I get that. ...can I come with you?"
At least you can tell people that you and Henry pull the same women.
"Can you text me his Steam name?"
“Can he get me a 3090?”
"I'm leaving you for Henry Cavill."
"Race you to the car!"
>I don't think I would. Like if my wife said she was leaving me for Henry, I'd be like
"Understandable, have a nice day"
There's really only one answer and this is it.
The wife has been informed and is supportive of me should I get the opportunity.
My dad was the doorman at a prominent Manhattan night spot during the early 80s. He claims he met Audrey Hepburn and she invited him somewhere. My mother told him he should have gone with her.
No. I think he was very loyal to my mother at that time.
Oooo the “at that time” makes it feel like he wasn’t after
In hindsight he would have been much better off with his opportunity in the 80s. My mother would have been fine with it. But she wasn’t okay with what he did later on down the road.
I came here to say this but knew in my heart it had already been said.
That wine red leather doublet he wore as Henry V 😍
Keanu Reeves, going on 13 years...
... I might not have a chance, seeing as we all love that studmuffin.
Edit; FML. 1999 is not 13 years ago.
2019 was 13 years ago, 1999 is only 10 years ago. Right??
I find no flaw in your logic. None.
My happily married Japanese teacher in high school was obsessed with Keanu. We would act out situations, and she would always insert Keanu into it, even when it was a husband/wife relationship. Never her real husband
These nups may be too toit!
Whenever Amy says “Ohhhh mama….”
Me: “Ohhhh mama…..”
Definitely Chris Evans & Tom Hardy
Chris Evans is soooo hot. I can't deal with him. Also Chris Hemsworth, sexier by the day...
Pedro Pascal and Christian Bale… I’m straight but for a females I admire and have girl crushes on Id say Amy Adam’s and Julia-Louis Dreyfus
Catwoman, oh my goodness
There's that clip of him on the red carpet with Jessica Chastain posing with her arm over his shoulder. You watch him, first notice, then admire her arm while his eyes turn molten and he leans in to kiss her arm and I melt.
More often than not, when men turn their latin charm on me it always makes me uncomfortable- like a sighted prey- but something about him and his eyes and his smile make the butterflies riot and my bones turn to jelly.
His beard in Dune is the most magnificent beard to ever beard.
I'm not into dudes, but that clip made me ...less certain.
it's disturbing how far I needed to scroll to see Oscar Isaac on this list
It used to be Christina Ricci. It still is, but it used to be too.
She is killing it in yellowjackets.
Yellowjackets is the best show I've seen in a while. I've put a bunch of my friends onto it and they all love it.
Cillian Murphy! So dreamy!!
The man has cheekbones that could cut glass!
Scrolled down to find this to say I would let Cillian Murphy spit in my mouth. Only when he has the Peaky haircut though. Otherwise, he can read to me because his voice is dreamy.
First saw him in Charlie’s Angels. When he is outed as evil and does that dance? Wooow
Her in Attack of the Clones for sure.
That white top when ripped on repeat. I think I hit puberty that day.
Rumor has it that the IMAX team doing the DMR transfer of that movie ended up having to digitally airbrush a few scenes because that white top's transparency was a lot more noticeable when blown up to 15/70mm film.
I would like to speak with the IMAX team
It is footage we cannot afford to lose!
The sacred texts!
That's impossible. Perhaps the archives are incomplete.
Amy Pond, Nebula, Roundhouse. So goddamn perfect.
Edit: Had to change last line because I'm dum dum who needs gum gum and haven't realized she does more roles.
Alexandra Daddario. I've been in love with her since Percy Jackson
If you’re into Alexandra Daddario you have to check out The White Lotus on HBO. I’ve always thought she’s stunning, but that show took her to another stratosphere!
Oh, yeah. You know the scene.
There’s an entire sub dedicated to it.
and she has an entire youtube channel dedicated to trolling that subreddit.
Her eyes kill me, her brother Matthew is also hot as hell.
Her and Jennifer Connelly
Pedro pascal ALWAYS
Kate Winslet and a bearded Tom Hardy
Henry Cavill and Taron Egerton!
I never thought much about Henry until The Witcher, but holy hell is he fucking magnetic.
I was *so* attracted to Taron Egerton as Elton John, I had a bit of a crisis. Dude can get it, even as a flamboyantly gay man.
I am still in the Taron Egerton crisis
