I realized that I was a late bloomer in 6th-middle school. I was always the last one to grow taller, hit puberty, have a job, age (late birthday), have a car, be in an intimate relationship. It never felt like a competition, but it didn’t feel good comparing myself to my friends who I felt were thriving at life and I weren’t because I was always the last one. However, through my thoughts and feelings, I’ve learned about self-love, self-worth, and self-acceptance.

This doesn't make sense. Friend circles are supposed to be people that enjoy eachother's company, not a one-up competition
