What was the first song you downloaded from Limewire?

Good question. I think it would've been something like Tribute by Tenacious D. Definitely not Linkin_Park_Numb.exe.
Eric prydz- call on me
Left Behind - Slipknot
lol idk what that is i have spotify 🤩🤩
Probably some dumb nu-metal song from Korn or Coal Chamber or whatever.
I have no idea but I remember those files I would click on as a dumb preteen and hearing fucking Bill Clinton say “I did not have sex with that woman….but I did go to somethingsomething.com and get free stuff” or whatever it said lol simpler times
Creeping Death, Metallica. Limewire, lol. Was good then became a virus hub.
I can’t remember which song was first, but it was definitely from the Buzz Ballads album they’d advertise on TV in the middle of the night.
Butterfly - crazy town
I don’t remember if it was Limewire or Napster but I believe it was a Gin & Juice cover by the Gourds which went around mislabeled as Blues Traveler.
LOL, the fucking mislabeled songs on there. Annoying then, funny now.
Slither - Velvet Revolver
Nice try FBI.
Wrap it up boys. They got us….
I can't remember what I downloaded first on Limewire.
Kazaa though, 12 year old me downloaded "Nuthin But a G Thing" right away. Took a while, but I thought I was so cool figuring out how to use that program and listening to the song.
Im a bit young to have used limewire myself but in 1st grade we had “computer buddies” who were kids in older grades. My computer buddy downloaded the entire American Idiot album off limewire and we listened to it while playing flash games 😎
*Laughs in Napster*
First song downloaded: wake up by rage against the machine
What the fuck is Limewire
Was a file sharing program long ago. Music, games etc. It became full of viruses when PCs where popular.
Back in my day, we didn’t have spotify or apple music. So if you wanted music on your ipod or mp3 player(our phones didn’t hold music so we had to use separate devices to listen music from), you could either pay full price for each song or album, or you could illegally download it for free using software such as Limewire and later Frostwire.
