Letting yourself sink into the depths
By - Sound_On
And then a shark comes along...
Gives him a high five and bites his dingy off.
I’m ok with this one because at least you can see the bottom of the ledge he’s dropping into. The other side however 🤮
Reminds me of the gopro video of the russian scuba diver who died by sinking to the bottom of a very deep part of the ocean.
Nsfw death in this video
That’s so sad. As a SCUBA diver, I’ve been seriously thinking about giving it up now that I have young kids. FWIW this video will make me more cautious. I’m sure it’ll do the same with others. It’s probably already saved lives.
I still don’t understand what happened though. How does a dive instructor get into an uncontrolled descent?
How are they holding their breath?
It’s easy, keep your mouth shut and don’t inhale
Ok now listen here, you
Instructions unclear. Ded
Okay how the hell is he doing that? I never learned to go that deep without floating
Deflate your meat balloons
Like all of them? Do I have to fart too?
The depth varies depending on your body composition (amount of fat) and lung capacity, but there is a point as you descend where water pressure decreases your buoyancy and you definitely sink.
So... So how does one get back up?
You have to swim toward the surface.. or if scuba diving add air to your BCD. Without fins like on this video it’s some effort. Hopefully the diver following the person helped them back up.
Same here. As I learned that fat is less dense than water. So a fatty person can’t sink very much.
As for me, I literally float on the water surface with my back.
As cool as this is what about him equalizing? Unless there's a way to do it without pinching your nose I don't k ow about I'm pretty sure his ears gonna be hurting to all hell and back!
There is a way to do it without pinching your nose actually.
Yeah I can do it just shifting my jaw
“Free Divers” as they call themselves train their bodies to handle the pressure and they have methods that make it easier on them.
I’ve seen videos of people descending insane depths just holding their breath
Oh wow. Thank you for telling me this
