If you a bad apple I’m the worse one. I don’t pay my kid and he’s 4 when I started the chores (just setting the table and cleaning his room - daily).
I don’t know how to deal with apathetic kids so got nothing there, which she is being. But you are the good apple. She needs these life skills and the earlier she develops the knowledge and habits the better. I always tell my students that money will never be a compete motivator because at some point you’ll think (they don’t pay be enough to deal with x)
Good apple all the way. Nothing wrong here, just asking her to do chores. Offering to pay her is totally a privilege and it is so great that you are allowing your daughter these opportunities and times to grow. Hope it goes well with your daughter :)
