PSC +34%, feels so good, even better when it is 100% of your portfolio 😍 wish I could post the gains, I Ve just created the account after being a long time lurker
Good volume and close for MAY, I’d expect a test of .105 within the next 2-3 days and hopefully can break through this time. News within 2-3 weeks of mobilisation should confirm price and sit around 12c pre spud. Good luck MAYtards
The last announcement said end of Q1 2023 which is technically end of March.
Do you think the wait is 3 weeks (start of March) or 7 weeks (end of March) for a significant update?
The last update said start of March will be mobilisation orders for the rig. I’d say first week of March it will be mobilised and take 2 weeks to setup then they have to P&A A1 and move rig 20m across to A2, going to be lengthy but I think once they start people will be stupid to sell. The only reason it will sell down now is any unforeseen delays or permitting issues
Once upon a time, there was a man named u/Fameluck who was always on the lookout for new opportunities to make a quick buck. He was a smooth talker, charming and handsome, and he used his wit and charisma to win over anyone and everyone he met.
One day, Fameluck stumbled upon an oil exploration company called BRK, which had been making waves in the industry for its innovative and groundbreaking techniques. Fameluck was immediately drawn to BRK and its potential to make him a lot of money. He started to court the company, playing up his strengths and downplaying his weaknesses. He flattered the executives and made promises that he couldn't keep.
It wasn't long before Fameluck and BRK began a torrid affair. Fameluck was head over heels in love with the company and everything it stood for. BRK, on the other hand, was infatuated with Fameluck's charm and his endless promises. The two were inseparable, and their love grew stronger with each passing day.
However, their relationship was not without its challenges. Fameluck was always trying to find ways to exploit BRK for his own gain, and BRK was constantly trying to protect itself from Fameluck's manipulations. But despite these obstacles, their love was too strong to be broken.
The affair eventually became a public scandal, with people gossiping about their relationship and their motives. Some criticized Fameluck for using BRK for his own gain, while others criticized BRK for being too blinded by love to see the truth about Fameluck. But despite all the negativity, Fameluck and BRK refused to end their relationship. They were willing to weather the storm together, no matter what.
In the end, Fameluck and BRK's love proved to be too much for the naysayers to handle. The two got married in a grand ceremony that was attended by many of the industry's biggest players. Their love was the talk of the town, and their relationship served as an inspiration to others. Fameluck and BRK lived happily ever after, proving that true love can conquer all.
ChatGPT says
“This is a fictional story about a man named Fameluck who is always seeking to make money. He becomes infatuated with an oil exploration company called BRK and begins a relationship with the company. Despite challenges, they continue their relationship and eventually get married, living happily ever after.”
"Well I needed to plug in the vacuum cleaner to get on the good side of me missus, so I unplugged the powerboard for a minute and next thing ya know this young chap comes in all a flutter... and he says I've unchugged the gigabase.... so I head over to the ol hot coppah to have a yarn to goodoldays58 and schoonerlad1955... and what do you know? The damn thing isn't working."
Anything is possible, although a 35 billion MC speccy is kinda unlikely. More likely to get a takeover offer. I do think 35-50c could be achievable though
If no takeover happens, Beehive exploration well goes good as well as both appraisals I could see close to a dollar which is what I'm hoping for. I'm happy to hold for 1-2 years to see if these catalysts happen
Beehive was sold. At current prices, MAYS royalty payments recieved per day for 1000 barrels produced (IF successfull) is approx $200 USD. This does will not effect the SP
Independent assessment of the area sold off could contain up to 1.4billion barrels of oil. They would earn US 10 million for every 25million barrels of oil produced
Meaning MAY gets 40 cents per barrel of oil. Production is usually 500-5000 barrels per day depending on the scale of everything So lets say 2500 barrels per day. 2500x0.4 = $1000. This is literally the daily wage of a director on the company. Not sure why people on HC keep mentioning Beehive as a major factor of MAYS future success.
Good commercial appraisal will be the game changer. If they can get into production it opens up huge cash flow and block 9 opportunities. As for a 3.3 bil MC it’s not impossible, look at what CHN reached based on some rocks in the ground no where close to generating cash flow.
Sup fellas?
So whats the latest dog stock everyone is losing their hard earned on?
Also, who is brave enough to avg down on VML? Im down 58% again on this fucker
Going to depend on which one looks the shittest in terms of progress. LPD gut feeling atm, did a small average down so hopefully it moves a little by then.
I have no clue, will need someone that knows something about the stock.
I just got in with the sparkle of 'Rare Earths go Reeeeeeeeeee 🚀' and then became a long-term holder, topping up when it looks low.
exr feels like it has those cock and ball torture devices attached to its nutsack and every time it tries to get up it squeals like a dog and sits back down
Yeah i know. But these days my PF isnt any better so….i consider it. But ive grown far too attached to my dogs it seems. Also i suspect the thrill (aka pain) of the chase might have me locked in ….
I always enjoy reading the contrasting commentary around rate rises in /r/asx_bets, /r/Australia, and /r/ausfinance.
As usual /r/Australia is an echo chamber of ignorance.
Little arvo run, I’d expect most will be wanting to get in before 10c mark. The next resistance of .105 is the hard part after that should be a free run timed with next news
I wonder who came up with the random formula
*a
cash bonus equal to 500,000 multiplied by the five (5) day volume weighted average price of the
shares of the Company*
Pretty cool though, directors gotta direct
Usually performance bonuses are in shares, but how are they ganna buy Lambos without $$$
ASX not happy as these bonuses weren't originally in the prospectus. But they did state something like *'we may choose to pay directors cash bonuses'* so there's the loophole
Bloody hell i was just looking at GL1 performance rights and all these directors make fucking big bucks. Wont someone hire me to direct one of these mining speccies pllZ.
Typically no, but you have to realize that the dilutionary effect of these raises is lower because of the Canadian flow through scheme. Maybe around 10% dilution (so $30M raise on a $300M MC company) is more common.
The question you have to ask is what does the company know, that may not be released to the market yet, which warrants raising ~$50M? Million dollar question
And similarly, what is known to the market.
They have huge strikes at Adina to drill out. They'll need to drill out the Adina peg on a near 100 x 100m grid. They need to drill Cancet out, both the main peg strike and also the northern strike. Maybe they're raising cash for an acquisition. Other tenement exploration beginning in June. Building a fucking road to stop this helicopter nonsense.
I agree. They all just float from one speccy to another after they've milked it dry.
As long as the director gets his 3rd holiday house, a Porsche.and his wife gets a set of bolt-ons, the retail investors job is complete!
I mean... their statement says inflation won't hit the top of the target until mid 2025... some people were speculating, and the market was hopeful to hit that point by end of 2023.
I remember reading a while back that a strategy of reserve banks sometimes is to signal that things will be worse than they actually might believe they'll be, to try and get people/businesses to curb spending out of fear.
So yea I agree, I trust the market more than the RBA.
Good to see the market is liking the +75% market cap cash offer on ANL project. Surely a stock consolidation is on the cards so we can appropriately value the stock?

Pretty interesting realestate data fresh off the press.
ESS has struggled a bit since MIN indicated its eyes were on PMT.
The scoping study wasn't as poor as I expected (though my expectations were tepid), and could've been rescued with additional resource found, despite a pretty wild 13x strip ratio.
But with the second highest operating cost I've ever seen in a spod DFS, it would've undoubtedly been a marginal project. To be fair, inflation would've had an influence there. I also note that they've used the comprehensively highest sale price the ASX has seen (US$1624/t market price effective).
**Production scale:** \~175ktpa (but assumes further resource discovered)
**Spodumene grade:** 5.7%
**Spodumene recovery:** 74%
**Sale price used:** US$1500/t @ 5.7% grade
**CAPEX:** AU$296m
**NPV:** AU$367m (massacred by the short life of mine)
**OPEX:** US$635/t (excl royalties, second only to EMH)
I haven't bothered to go through in much more detail, because the TLEA offer is looking inevitable now.
The CAPEX to market cap ratio would've left them milling around without support from a player up the chain.
Edit: second highest cost
I'm pretty cautious about NPVs, as they get immensely skewed by variables like life of mine.
ESS: 7yr LOM.
HVY: 16yr LOM.
Once adjusted, their CAPEX to NPV ratio would be pretty similar. But even allowing for that, ESSs study is pretty lacklustre among spodumene projects.
[here](https://imgur.com/a/kKYXW8x) Garnet is niche industry and if you find one listed company on asx it’s easy to back our calculations in scoping study using their numbers. Also, GMA is buying concentrated which is not final product from MRC for 340usd. So our final bagged product will be higher which you can cross check by looking into what GMA. Sells their bagged product for. We share border our mineral is same too so exact same price.
I know you get asked this a million times each day but in your view any Li stocks looking a little oversold that are worth piling into? Coal friendship is dead, lithium is my new best mate
Lithium spot prices are coming in soft again this week, which means I'm in the same predicament since November: chasing higher risk specs that I think might survive a bust cycle (on paper). And I don't really pile into those.
And the other trouble is, I don't like the cut of management's jib on any of my options.
There's the cowboy Quebec one that's got a lot of hype, and might still present an entry if that cap raise price gets approached.
Then the lifestyle one in Brazil, but what happens if they fail to acquire that tenement abutting their eastern boundary?
Also, the one in Argentina that I [complained about](https://www.reddit.com/r/ASX_Bets/comments/yel0rc/comment/itym9h7/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) previously, who struggled to generate hype. I might throw up a post about it in coming days, but I'm thinking that it'll take a hit at Greenbushes to really set them alight.
Summary: rather than piling into anything, I'm just doing short(ish) hold gambles until the spot price turns around.
4 million shares 🤤
You son of a bitch if this goes to 50c like the HC rampers you'll be filthy rich.
Hell the old all time high of 20c will get you to a mil.

Where did my post go, does automod remove swear words?!!? Surely not as I've seen posters, ceos and directors references as cvnts here.
edit - Seems like reddit is refreshing and updating very slowly today, my posts are slowly coming through
Catalyst 1: HY results on Feb 16th, where the size of the dividend will be announced
Catalyst 2: those holding by Feb 22 receive dividend of X amount
So a bit of relief amidst the futures decline. But if those don't turn around, usual transmission should be resumed later this month.
My bet is they won’t turn around anytime soon and this rebound won’t last. Everyone knew there was a good divvy on the way but once they’ve paid out their cash mountain to shareholders they won’t be looking so attractive.
I have no idea, I am working on shorting the Asian market recently. I mean even though coal is doing bad you can’t deny those companies still have plenty of cash. And now cash is the king.
It’s been bad the past month but stepping back theyve been a great returns machine.
I dont know what the future holds though. Hopefully coal prices go back higher
It is subjective but generally $250mill to $2bill is considered small cap.
Hitting the $1bill AUD and then the $1bill USD will be good milestones for further growth. it is good for the company to be opened up to a wider pool of capital investors and fund management groups who have restrictions on investing in "penny"/Smallcaps with less than a bill market cap.
The ultimate love letter from the RBA!

If they can avoid wasting space on graphite, they can double the energy density of current batteries? Seems a worthy goal
So if it can be commercialised, they'll need 0% RNU and twice as much lithium?

Fucksake I didn't have time to check the market today, just saw MAY pulled a 0.097 and instantly came in my red underwear.
88E kept me in the green today. The ASX must be broken.

Sup fellas? So whats the latest dog stock everyone is losing their hard earned on? Also, who is brave enough to avg down on VML? Im down 58% again on this fucker
Why has VML tanked so hard this financial year?
All progress on production has been delayed by 12 months minimum, in order to do a proper study.
VML, LPD and IHL all between -40% and -50%. One of them is likely to get shot at tax time to balance gains.
Who you gonna shoot?
Going to depend on which one looks the shittest in terms of progress. LPD gut feeling atm, did a small average down so hopefully it moves a little by then.
Send LPD. Lepidolite is fake lithium
Ah cheers, gut feeling seems to be on point.
Just EXR and VML...... I'd top up again at 0.018/17 - but not sure it will tank that hard again, big volume hopeful at 0.02
Whens the next catalyst due to hopefully lift VML
I have no clue, will need someone that knows something about the stock. I just got in with the sparkle of 'Rare Earths go Reeeeeeeeeee 🚀' and then became a long-term holder, topping up when it looks low.

WR1 getting hit by an ASX please explain on giving their directors performance bonuses. Classic 🤠 behavior The world works in mysterious ways 🕵️

Hey /WowVeryJosh Is it common for a 300mc company to raise 50m?
Typically no, but you have to realize that the dilutionary effect of these raises is lower because of the Canadian flow through scheme. Maybe around 10% dilution (so $30M raise on a $300M MC company) is more common. Fking sell off
Market doesn't like or hate the rate hikes. Priced in.
The Reserve Bank has increased its cash rate target by 0.25 percentage points to 3.35 per cent
Fucking boring. Even round it to 3.5 so the next one can be 4%. Newsdotcom can’t write click bait on 25bps. Useless.
ABC coverage is a conversation between the host who uses data as a singular term and an expert who uses data as a plural and neither is budging.
I saw that!
25 bps, but a somewhat positive forward looking statement from RBA
YOURE A SOMEWHAT POSITIVE FORWARD LOOKING STATEMENT!
I mean... their statement says inflation won't hit the top of the target until mid 2025... some people were speculating, and the market was hopeful to hit that point by end of 2023.
Given the RBA track record on timelines for when rates would rise I would say the market will probably win that one.
I remember reading a while back that a strategy of reserve banks sometimes is to signal that things will be worse than they actually might believe they'll be, to try and get people/businesses to curb spending out of fear. So yea I agree, I trust the market more than the RBA.
The RBA are paid downrampers, fucking knew it, they’re not getting my stonks!!!!!
Yea 2025 line is kinda rough, and kinda fucked for real wage growth.
Top of target doesn't matter, just need to see it heading in the right direction for a couple of periods and everyone will chill the fuck out
Not if inflation gets stuck at 4.5%, the RBA would be forced to increase the rate to above 5%, and we would say goodbye to any high risk investments.
Shhhhhh
And of course the XJO dives :P
Market: *expects a 25bps rate rise* RBA: “we’re raising rates by 25bps” Market: *surprised pikachu and goes red* Seriously…
Last paragraph of statement hints to more than one rate rise ahead.
According to the implied rate the market is expecting at least 2 more... apparently
I believe 3.6% was priced in as terminal this morning. More likely 3.85% now.
I see 3.72 as of yesterday, which yea makes way more sense of todays moves.
But there is also general acknowledgement about global inflation slowing down. I'm looking a bit further out than next month
RBA +.25
I'll take it
Daddy Philip Lowe said you have to, at least from tomorrow
Daddy Phil would like to see you in his bedroom. And bring that juicy .25% with you.
Ohhh yeah I bet you'll take it.
Good to see the market is liking the +75% market cap cash offer on ANL project. Surely a stock consolidation is on the cards so we can appropriately value the stock?

There was also rescheduling of another drug they are in, but in general the entire area being opened up is positive. IHL is just a dog.

HVY has 250mil NPV at 110mil CAPEX with Feasibility study starting in April.
Thanks, that’s how I feel about the other commodities I’m looking at. Good to know though
So, buy high sell low?
Can’t argue with reverting to tried and true methods.
Go NXL - turn that red into green!
Every dog's got its day.
Just when I thought I was out... They pull me back in(to the red). Goddamn insto tree shaker fear monger downrampers!!!
ESS Scoping study seems to justify $0.50 vs above $0.50 ?
Some nice MAY gains from this little run so far. If appraisal goes well I'll scream https://i.imgur.com/yy5Z2gD.jpeg
4 million shares 🤤 You son of a bitch if this goes to 50c like the HC rampers you'll be filthy rich. Hell the old all time high of 20c will get you to a mil.

MNS caught out bullshitting the market again in their response to ASX 🚩🤡
Lawsuit inbound
Pointing out how MNS is incredibly dodgy is slander. 😡
Where did my post go, does automod remove swear words?!!? Surely not as I've seen posters, ceos and directors references as cvnts here. edit - Seems like reddit is refreshing and updating very slowly today, my posts are slowly coming through
Feels good looking at coal giving me hope again X2
Havnt had time to read the news today, what’s the catalyst
Catalyst 1: HY results on Feb 16th, where the size of the dividend will be announced Catalyst 2: those holding by Feb 22 receive dividend of X amount So a bit of relief amidst the futures decline. But if those don't turn around, usual transmission should be resumed later this month.
Hey swifty, seems like this was it: https://twitter.com/jessicadamir/status/1622797622733049856?s=46&t=xljj1Rl5SVZ0ILhLH7OnJw
Thanks, I stand corrected!
My bet is they won’t turn around anytime soon and this rebound won’t last. Everyone knew there was a good divvy on the way but once they’ve paid out their cash mountain to shareholders they won’t be looking so attractive.
Just pay me my God damn dividend! I'm looking at you NHC and TER!
Penny-stocks: "you can't consistently hit new all time highs every second day" , Weebit: "Hold my redbull" **WBT**
It's almost at a billion market cap, is that when it stops being a penny stock?
It is subjective but generally $250mill to $2bill is considered small cap. Hitting the $1bill AUD and then the $1bill USD will be good milestones for further growth. it is good for the company to be opened up to a wider pool of capital investors and fund management groups who have restrictions on investing in "penny"/Smallcaps with less than a bill market cap.
The ultimate love letter from the RBA! https://www.reddit.com/r/ASX_Bets/comments/10vp2ol/the_ultimate_love_letter_from_rob_lowe/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Break it to me, am I fucked today I haven't checked this thread or my app
Pretty boring day, come back in a few hours
Barry is lubed and ready.
decided to chuck some money into CYM at this cap raise price yes I am over-exposed to copper at this point 🤡
CYM makes money = MLX makes money, win win
yeah, I'm certainly going against conventional "concentration risk" strategies here, lol
WTF happened to my big green open?!?1
Today's toastie is buffalo mozzarella and spicy chorizo. I'd throw in a carolina reaper but they're still green on the bush.
Try some sucuk, green capsicum and cheese. Life changing.
I am a fan of sucuk, the really spicy stuff. Sucuk/sujuk
What's wrong with ham cheese and tomato?
Nothing at all, except the fact that I don't have ham or tomato at the moment.

Seems a worthy goal So if it can be commercialised, they'll need 0% RNU and twice as much lithium?
