THE MOOSE IS LOOSE

UBeleeDis

All things considered actually really like the look of the team. Annoyed that it was injuries that forced the change and that it’s literally only out key players but it is what it is. So pessimistic about Pearce. Feel like by the end of the game he’ll already be on ice.

ShibbyUp

>Feel like by the end of the game he’ll already be on ice. I thought it was only the other Perth team that did that stuff

Croob2

Oi Oi, now it's just a bunch of weed thank you very much

ShibbyUp

Can't have a glass barbie party without a few gatorade saxophones the next morning

McSquack

Can St Kilda afford to manage players? Dont they have 25 fit blokes?

JayJayBn

Ross is going home to help with his new borns and Membrey and his partner are giving birth.

McSquack

Please my SuperCoach!

Matt Rowell

decs483

Good that Prestia's still in. Probably means they were just being cautious

StoneyLepi

100% was managed during that last qtr Might have gotten a bit tight and they didn’t want to risk it. Also subscribed to the idea they “rested” him to let Rioli have a crack for Dreamtime

smegdaddy

Shit yeah Coxy. Also good to see we’re backing Rantall

jsmiiiiiith

Good to see the wacky waving inflatable tube man gets to say goodbye from the field

YeahNahGlennMcGrath

THE GOAT IS BACK BABY

Crazyripps

Oh god those ins, I can only get so hard

notblair

Much nicer team announcement than last week. Good to see duggan back with shep going out.

omaca

We're too tall again. No need for two rucks against the Tigers, so Vardy is a mistake (and I speak as someone who likes him). We need someone to run with Dusty or Bolton.

Riot_From_The_Couch

I hope to one day see what Horse sees in Bell

Maximumlnsanity

He was ok in 2020... mostly because it was very easy to look decent in that garbage fire of a forwardline

Visolate

BIG SEAN DARCYYYYY 💦💦 NOT EVEN INJURY CAN STOP HIS BROWNLOW CHARGE ^plsnolateout

liaam29

I'm thinking he is a late out and will leave me with 17 on field in fantasy the bye rounds have been cruel to me this year

Visolate

same tbh, this weeks teams have absolutely fucked me. i was teetering on the edge of having 17 playing if darcy and rantall were out but i managed to have a guaranteed 18 even if darcy is out (hunter emg)

liaam29

I can guarantee 18 but it means passing on Reeves which I don't want to do Can have 18 with Darcy with Reeves R3 to make money but so risky with Darcy to be a late out, frustrating position to be in

WAVIC_136

TARRANT? ATU?! STEPHO?!! XERRRRRI?!?,?!?! EDIT FOR PHILLIPS I KNOW THIS ISN'T THE SLEDGE THREAD I'M JUST VERY EXCITED TODAY

Sleepingonitall

Most of them won't play, don't get too excited Edit: Half, not most

dazedjosh

Thought it would be Clarke over Bell but oh well, was hoping we'd only have one forced change this week so that's good.

Skwisgaars

I wish it was Clarke, Bell is yet to impress me at all. Clarke is inconsistent at AFL level but has had a few great games and is killing it in the vfl.

dazedjosh

Yeah neither of them have particularly impressed, Clarke seems like one of those too good for VFL not good enough for AFL kind of players. Bell seems a bit similar talent wise, but he's got a bit of mongrel about him, which I tend to prefer. He'll never be a high skill player, but he might just have enough of a bastard in him to make himself valuable to us.

Maximumlnsanity

Clarke, Taylor, and Gray have all had strong VFL seasons, idk what else they have to do to earn a full game

Skwisgaars

I guess the thought process could be that they're not really in the swans plans for the future, Bell may be, and a hawks game before the bye is a relatively no consequence risk.

Maximumlnsanity

We thought the Suns game was a no consequence risk and look how that turned out. I know they aren't the future (I'd argue Clarke should be but whatever) but I'd rather play them and make our chances of winning just slightly higher, or alternately we could've played Stephens

Skwisgaars

Stephens is my vote, way more the future than bell or Clarke.

Vulome

I'm really surprised not to see Bytel in there considering Seb Ross is out

chookie94

Looks like he will be the sub, but he should absolutely be in the 22 this week. Really annoyed that he isnt.

OldMegabattimus

What do you think Ratten has against him? Is there an element of his game that's lacking or something?

chookie94

I dont think Ratts has anything agains him. It made sense that he was omitted a few weeks ago - he only has about 12 disposals and Dunstan was averaging 36 disposals and 2 goals a game in the VFL - so you couldn't claim to have selection integrity if you didnt bring Dunstan in. But with Ross out, it just makes no sense for Bytel not to replace him. But the entire side makes zero sense - bringing in Hunter makes no sense, omitting Clav but not bringing in another defender, Wood and Battle are essentially the same player so both dont make much sense. Same with Highmore and Coff - playing both is redundant.

JayJayBn

Battle in defence with Wilkie, Howard, 87 half backs. Hunter 2nd ruck 3rd forward with Wood, king, and 53 small forwards. Shits fucked man

Mercedesplsslowdown

He's a pure inside mid and at the moment he's behind Steele, Crouch and Dunstan.

YonkoBuggy

Well Seb has been playing forward recently so makes sense to bring Lonie in.

Maarns

Mitch Brown ahead of Ben. Telling.

smegdaddy

Is Ben injured? Why can’t he crack the team?

Maarns

No injury that we know of. Truth is, he's just not looked good enough in the main side or in the VFL. Mitch gives way more effort when he doesn't have the ball, and isn't afraid of a contest like Ben has shown so far.

smegdaddy

Thats nuts. Great signs for the Dees though that they have the luxury of leaving Ben in the twos until he finds form

Durfsurn

Not unhappy to see big Mitchy ahead of Benny - I'd take either of them over Weids rn - although you know you're just going to get 110% out of Mitch every week. If Ben's VFL form was better before the lockdown though he'd probably be in.

VersaceSandals

Dawk is stiff. Rioli/Castagna/Aarts/Pickett have a leash so long it could wrap the earth but Dawkins/Naish etc get dropped after a single bad game??

maiyazu2u2

it wasn't due to a "bad" game, RCD played well on the weekend for his first time in that full time high half forward role. but with cotchin, bolton and prestia coming back vs adelaide, RCD went from one of our starting mids, to a 50% centre bounce mid alongside bolton, and with edwards coming in vs essendon, edwards moves up the centre bounce/mid ladder and pushed RCD in to the high half forward role that lambo plays. RCD only attended centre bounces once prestia came off which was the last 5 or so minutes of the game, and since prestia is playing and lambert's full time role is the high half forward role, RCD who was played out of position is unfortunately the one that has to make way. if prestia was to be out injured then RCD would've 100% stayed and played more midfield minutes than what he did in dreamtime.

dmw_asia

Wonder if they are also managing him?

maiyazu2u2

look i hope that's the case, however i think he's just going to be back in the 2s until a midfield injury and he's straight back in. i just don't see a spot for him in the current full strength midfield over dusty, cotchin, prestia, edwards & bolton with graham and lambert the high half forwards. i think nank is ready after the bye and lynch the week after that, so that probably (and unfortunately) kicks chol and caddy out of the side. and then we're basically at full strength barring small fwd form. i do wish we had a way to fit astbury/miller, preferably get games in to miller to get him an actual taste of afl football so he knows what's required or if he's good enough to keep his spot

willbobaggins7861

Im not to sure about dropping Riccardi but atleast Bruhn is getting another run..

SilverAccio1513

Forward line looking real dangerous 👀

wazzy360

Sholl got dropped???

Texas_Tom

I think he just needs a rest. They'll drop him to the emergency list and then play him as the sub

PluggersLeftBall

pain.

Maximumlnsanity

Oh fuck off Horse, really?

RaidanRam

Good day
