I've always thought of my memory, at least having to recall something specific at a moment's notice, as like being in a cluttered room where you have a rough idea of where the thing is you're looking for, not not exactly, and there's a lot of stuff on it to dig through, and a lot of other distracting things around it, so you don't always even know if you're digging in the exact spot.
Yes! The files in my brain all have path names, but I can’t access them until someone tells me where to look with a clue word.
IM the same it’s even like,
Someone: What did you do today ?
Me: I literally have no idea
This just blew my mind
It’s like the difference between searching through finder and searching through spotlight.
